“My family and I just had the most wonderful food and service at Ricco's. We had the calamari, basil tomato soup, Caesar Salad, BLT sandwich, chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, and shrimp/mushroom risotto. No one left dissatisfied. The restaurant clean and quaint and the staff attentive at all levels. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress so I could give her a direct shout out but she was a breath of fresh air from all the sub-par service experiences we've had lately. “The pizza was delicious! This was our first time having Rosati’s. We were disappointed with the take out option. Our pick up time was 6:00 and we didn’t get our pizza until 6:45. It was really busy, but I put my order in online earlier in the day. We will go again, but maybe not on a Friday night.“
“Hubby and I stopped for pizza this week at Dewey's. Great crust! Plus you get to watch the guys "throwing the dough." We ordered it our way: sausage, mushrooms, & carmelized onions, with red sauce (you can choose white or pesto, too) . We liked it just fine, I would have preferred an Italian sausage, crumbled, not sliced. And more of each topping. But it was fine. The inside of the restaurant was so nice. Lots of space and a bar you can sit at. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to come back.“

“Absolutely unreal! Rosati’s has the best pizza in Overland Park. Even better, they have dietary options. I’m gluten free and they offer cauliflower crust that is absolutely delicious. I always get either their standard cheese pizza, or the cheesy buffalo pizza with chicken and onions.They’re not too saucy, perfect amount of cheese, and the crust is covered with cheese. It’s like a breadstick, so delicious and crispy. I normally have it delivered and they quote 45 minutes, but it always arrives at my door in 20 minutes. I’ll definitely be ordering again!“

Consistently good food (at least the pizzas I've devoured). Located on 83rd you can get in via the front on 83rd OR park in the back, the south side of the OPK farmers market as well. Good tasty pizza with a thick crunchy crust and ingredients that are fresh and do NOT fall off upon you taking a bite. Granted they have one pie that has like 9 ingredients, and I haven't tested that....."future projects".“

I vetted this place about 2 years ago.I went in with my son yesterday and ordered a cauliflower crust pizza with our awesome waitress, mentioning food allergies in passing. A few minutes later, unprompted, the waitress and manager both came out and discussed it.I was already comfortable with procedures etc there but was impressed they were super proactive about our issues and explained the situation in the kitchen and airborne contact was a thing. Never experienced this before at any restaurant.Food is good and would recommend anyone with a wheat/gluten allergy.“
“For 20 years, this has been my "go to" Pizza shop, and it is a short walk from home. They make a great crust for a great slice or pie. And the entire place is very clean, and very loose for a borderline uptight main street. The musical range on the PA is always fresh, and Chef wears a T-shirt "Ode to Jerry." Craft brews on draft, and the lunch specials are a big slice and a craft pint for $10. You just can't find a better lunch meal, or Dinner out with friends. Live music some nights. No cover. Support this place and others like it. Because they can't do it without you, and they love to do it. It shows.“

“I had the fish n chips and ice tea. Everything was delicious, but the fish was hard to eat because it kept falling apart and became impossible to dip in the tartar sauce. I think it was just too much grease on the inside and made it fall apart, but it tasted good. The service was great. Our server checked on us and refilled drinks multiple times and was very friendly. The slice I got was deluxe and made to order I think because it came out piping hot fresh from the oven. My sister had a side salad that was large enough for two people and very good and fresh. “We were in town from Vegas, for the vision automotive conference, staying at the Marriott. We ordered $100 in food and it was delivered with zero plates or cutlery (I did let them know I was staying in a hotel and needed stuff.) We ordered pastas, salads and pizza and also dessert.Let me say the person that takes phone orders Jeffrey is great. He had great answers and recommendations.Being in the industry myself I was really sad that we got all this food with no way to eat it. My kids were so hungry they just ate with their hands. I did end up calling back because we had some missing items too and the manager, Conner was amazing and fixed everything. He made it all right.Tho the situation wasn't my favorite.. the food was ? and so was the customer servixe. I would order again just based on that. And the fact that the manager Conner took his time to listen and make everything right makes it a place I will always come back to. It's refreshing to have businesses that still care.“
“I am with a volleyball club from Chicago that arranged to have several U15, U16 and U17 teams eat an early lunch at Strang Hall while in town for the Triple Crown volleyball tournament in mid-February. Michelle in events was wonderful to work with and helped us reserve the private room as well as additional seating for parents. Upon arrival, we found plenty of parking nearby. The space itself is lovely - modern, light, airy and has a wonderful upscale vibe. Outside space was fresh and lovely, but it was still too chilly to utilize. The food options are diverse and delicious while remaining economical. We found portions to be ample and overall a good value. Our group has every type of food allergy and dietary preference (Celiac/GF, DF, SF, Vegetarian, Vegan, picky eaters, clean-eating parents, etc.). All athletes and parents were so happy and satisfied with the selection, value and quality of their food -- so much so that we ate there two days in a row! Strang Hall is a team parent's dream!! I wish I lived nearby so I could dine there more frequently. We will be back next year! Highest possible recommendation given.“

“Work brings me to another amazing dining experience with Maggiano’s Little Italy. This place is really nice. Upscale beautiful restaurant with fantastic food. The stuffed mushrooms were the best I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection with a garlic pesto stuffing and butter sauce. The blackened salmon was perfect. The relish they add to the top is spicy and tangy but just enough to complement the salmon. The bed of mashed potatoes were so creamy and rich. The crusted shrimp added another highlight to an amazing dish.“
