“This place was amazing! The owner was so kind and helped me figure out what would be best while still dealing with tooth pain from a procedure early this week. The food was cooked to perfectio. The saffron came almost caused a fight between my daughter and I! It's a small space but I'm willing to drive 20+ minutes to go to this location. Thanks for being awesome!“
“Just visited for the first time the other day. The atmosphere was really cool. I loved how they decorated. The staff was super friendly and the food was really good. The only con is that there isn't a whole lot of seating during the lunchtime crowd, especially for one person. They have tables set for 4 or more, so I just decided to take my order to go, so I didn't take up a table that a larger group could sit at.“
“I typically like to mix it up and get something I haven't had before or haven't had recently. But I went with Butter Chicken, medium spice level, and garlic naan. I am so glad I did. They were wonderful. The lunch serving size was adequate for two people. An order of garlic naan was 2 full pieces cut in half, making 4 good sized pieces. The spice level was perfect. At many places, it's difficult to tell garlic naan from regular naan. That is not the case at Spice n Rice. Plenty of garlic on these. I decided to eat the entire meal instead of taking half home, as it was so good, but in the future, one plate of food is plenty for two people, especially when purchasing naan in addition.Service was very quick and friendly. On the negative side, the waitress was so attentive that it seemed she was watching me eat. I would suggest that they try to strike a balance between attentive and watching too closely.“
“Wonderful place, wonderful food! This is the largest Indian buffet I've been to (and honestly one of the only ones left in town). It's a bit out of the way for me but I'm so glad I went! Delicious chai, perfect amount of sweetness. There was also a great blueberry shake when I went. The vegetable biriyani, daal, okra, potato pakora, and paneer masala were the highlights for me, all vegetarian. I wish everything was more clearly labeled as veg so I don't have to ask the staff, but that didn't detract from my visit. Restaurant was clean and busy - people were waiting outside for it to open - but not so busy that you had to wait for a table. You can tell it's a popular spot with returning customers. I'll absolutely visit again. I wish I took pictures but I was just too eager to eat the food. Next time!“
“When I went here when Kari's first opened I was pretty disappointed, but I'm glad I gave them time to start their new business and another try a year later! This time the chicken shawarma was delicious, the baba ganoush was delicate and packed with flavor, their lentil soup was beautifully spiced. The pita was soft, with olive oil and zaatar, and the falafel was pretty good too. The atmosphere was great and the service was lovely! Make sure to try their special lemonades!Currently the best middle eastern on W39th!Vegetarian options: Falafel sandwich, lentil soup, baba ganoush, dolma, hummus, pita and more“
“Definitely recommend Haha's Kebabs and Shawarma! Such friendly people! Zaid and Billa were so kind and hospitable to us and the food was amazing! I had the beef shawarma. Highly recommend and will be back! Can't wait to try their pizza place too!“
“Went for a late lunch on Sunday. Staff was very attentive. Showed us photos on their phone of new items on the menu.We ended up with the saffron chicken, parmesan Naan (the best), Dahi paneer and the assam tea. They will cater to your desired spice level.Food was excellent. Highly recommend.“
“Due to its location, it tends to be full of drunks at night. But the food is good and most importantly, cheap.Parking: Parking get pretty hectic and chaotic the later it gets.Kid-friendliness: Not a place to have kids. It's mostly great just for pickup orders you have already placed in advance.“
“It's important to note that, while Google says this location is open until midnight, that's for the gas station convenience store this KKC is located within. I believe they stop cooking chicken around 8:30pm.My first experience was buying it a week ago after they stopped cooking and the chicken had been sitting out under a heat lamp for over 90 minutes...and even like that, it was fantastic!I just got some fresh chicken tonight, and it was even better! Also, the gentleman working the register was exceptionally helpful.5/5“
“This place is freaking amazing! I’m literally obsessed with the food. Honey on chicken? Yes please! If you are not a fan of spice then don’t ago above lite mild. If you like a little.. Mild is perfect! (It’s what I get). Medium is complete fire, but in the best way!! Haven’t gone higher than that so far.. “
“The restaurant's shrimp dish is a winner – succulent, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The flavors are a delightful balance, with a hint of freshness from the accompanying herbs. It's a seafood delight that leaves a lasting impression.Parking: Good“
“My husband and I stopped in late last night and had the best Mediterranean food we've had in the KC area. The only thing to make it better was the people working. we had a chance to meet the owner and his mother and everyone was so welcoming and charming. We live by the airport, but this is my new hummus supplier because it's THAT good! We will be back and we will bring our friends.“
