“Awesome food and service!!! We had visited Jack Stacks 12 years ago with our family while visiting Kansas City. We were so impressed with the food and service in 2012. Came back in 2026 to visit our son and ate at the Jack Stacks in Martin City. It was as amazing the first time we came 14 years ago. Our waitress Michelle was wonderful, friendly, but also very professional and gave us good pointers about the food we were ordering. Thank you all!!!“

“Absolutely Amazing! This is the best bbq I have ever had from a restaurant hands down. I got the brisket sandwich with a side of beans and I can not wait to try everything else on the menu. Even the pickles are Amazing. You have to try this place for yourself. You won't regret it.“

“Chef J's BBQ was incredible! I was lucky enough to be able to order The Boss, therefore I got to try the Brisket and Jalapeno BBQ Sausage and both tasted fresh with the perfect amount of smoke. The ratio of fat and tender meat on the Brisket was perfect. My girlfriend and I showed up hungry and left with a full belly. The staff that work at Chef J's BBQ make you feel like your eating at home. 10 out of 10 experience!“

“Been awhile since been back to BB'S. Used to be a monthly must stop back in tge day for the Blues a Q. Lindsay Shannon was the best!!New ownership and patio renovations wanted to go back to check it out. 3 headed out for lunch on a Thursday. WOW. 2 of us had The Daily Special Texas Sweet (Pulled Pork, Scimecas Italian Sausage, Onion Straws piked high on huge bun. 1 SIDE. I had some green beans son had some of the huge famous beer battered potato wedges. Hot, fresh, tasty for $11.99. Both of us took decent amount home as well. Been too long and we'll be headed back soon. Staff was amazing and accomodating!! Do yourself a favor and check out this longtime BBQ staple. Hat Tipped BB's...“

“If I could give this 10 stars I would. Didn't get any pictures because the food was so incredible it didn't last long. My boyfriend and I got ribs, the turkey sandwich, and brisket monster fries and everything was so good I told him we're coming back tomorrow for lunch. The service was incredible and the woman working the truck was so insanely sweet. 10000/10 would recommend“

“Classic Kansas City barbecue experience with amazing flavor and a fun atmosphere. The burnt ends, ribs, and signature BBQ sauce were absolutely delicious and packed with smoky flavor. The portions were generous, the service was quick, and the staff created an energetic and welcoming vibe. A must-visit spot for anyone wanting authentic Kansas City BBQ. Definitely one of the most memorable meals in the city!“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. That is undoubtedly the kindest thing that has ever happened to us in a restaurant. Thank you to the wonderful people at the RoanRidge Texas Roadhouse.“

“I went there this past weekend and the food was excellent. Of course I think it had a lot to do with how amazing our server Logan was! She was one of a kind and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced service as well as hers. Definitely consider changing it to Famous Logan’s!“

“For 4 people to eat lunch was about $140. The staff was extremely nice. I was not impressed with the way they priced every item individually. The meat was good and the sauce zesty. But we didn't care for the green beans and thought the price of the side dishes were a little high, but all in all I'd recommend this place“

“Had a great experience on a Friday night! Service was attentive and accommodating. Food was cooked just like we ordered. Overall, the atmosphere was good, however, the din in the room grew in the middle of our meal and it got a little much.“

“I had I think the most delicious chicken and pear salad I’ve ever had in my life here. There was a couple of conferences going on inside the hotel so the restaurant and bar area was crowded and there was only one staff person waiting on everyone. I don’t know what the situation was in the kitchen however, even though I had to wait for a service, I knew they were doing their best and when my salad came, it was so delicious. I also ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and it was a very generous pour maybe making up for the lack of help that day. It did help me enjoy my lunch very much. I would go there just to go there even if I wasn’t attending anything at the hotel.“

“Went after a world cup game. We were so thankful they were open and serving fresh, hot food. My son devoured his smash burger saying it was awesome. The fried mushroom and zucchini app was great. The service was fantastic considering they had an unexpected late crowd. Also they head a really good draft beer selection. We were also able to watch the US game.“

“Definitely worth a visit. The Nooner is a great sandwich regardless, but the lunch special also makes it a great deal. I do not recommend it with turkey, which had a rubbery cold cut texture. I really liked it with beef though. The ribs were way better than expected too--not as nuanced as Joe's, but with a better bark. Service lives up to the reputation, but this is not fine dining. You'll heal. Great jazz piped into the dining room too, which stands out for the atmosphere.“

“The trains going back and forth were so cool to watch!“
