Gates is also in my top 5 rotation of the KCMO BBQ to do list. The smoking of meats can be detected a mile away. The flavor and sauce have been around this city since mafia days. Great for a sit down lunch or take out dinner.
I love the environment and the food is pretty good when it's cooked right, overall I mainly get the ribs and every now n' then some seasoned fries to go with my meal but overall yeah this place is awesome it's one of the better restaurants in the Kansas City metro area I totally recommend this spot if your craving some BBQ.
