“We had Garozzo’s cater our rehearsal dinner at Boulevard Brewing. From the very beginning they were extremely helpful getting the entire dinner together. They held a tasting at their restaurant downtown, where we were able to sample a lot of their different courses on their catering menu. This was a great way to find exactly what we wanted for our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic and they were constantly in touch with us through the entire process. They kept us up to date through the event. We highly recommend Garozzo’s to anyone needing any event catered.”
“My Birthday dinner, I was able to reserve a table for 18 the day before it was tough but they worked with me. Our waiter Corey was AWESOME he was patient & courteous never got an attitude which I can appreciate and took care of all our needs. Great food & great service!!”

“We had only been to Rockhille Grilel once before and didn't have a great experience. Buuuut, we decided to give it another try during their Happy Hour. I got their Bruschetta and it was the BEST I've ever eaten and so delightfully plated. Simple, yet classic. Our server, Trevor was EXCELLENT. The Rockhill Grille will DEFINITELY be on our, "regular" list”
“A surprised diamond in the urban core of the city!!!! The atmosphere was clean, crisp, and upscale. The service was pleasant, attentive, and informative. The food specials were intriguing and danced on the palette like a ballerina! The halibut was perfect!!! I was expecting more of a showstopper from the lobster rolls although it had great flavors the garlic bread did not do it justice! The drinks and appetizers took the show! This is definitely a come again spot!!! And YES!!!! I didn’t mind saying Bloody Mary once, twice, and even three times!!!!!!”

Our server was knowledgeable and recommended a ton of great dishes. We really enjoyed the itchy sea bass, spicy charred edemame, and the thriller roll. The sea bass and roll were so good, we actually ordered a second! Also try the China Doll cocktail!! Yum ?”

“In town for the weekend and Q39 was highly recommended as a top barbecue spot to try. When we arrived their were tons of people outside and standing inside also thank goodness I made a reservation and we were seated quickly. Chad was our very pleasant and attentive server who was very knowledgeable about the menu items. We settled on the pick 2 samplers and let me tell you the food did not disappoint from the brisket to the fall off the bone ribs and yummy cucumber salad I was in food heaven. I highly recommend if you are in Kansas to check this spot out!!”
“We love Scott's Kitchen! Everything we have eaten has been delicious - tacos, bowls, beef, chicken, turkey - all of it! They have a variety of heat levels so everyone can find what suits them. Staff is friendly, patient, and helpful in answering questions and serving. The temperature in the dining area is really cold (in my opinion) and the chairs are metal. If we are eating in, I need to remember to take something to sit on just to warm it up! There are outside seating options if the weather is good, as well as carryout.”
“Ordered 5 different flavors of scones and each one was delicious! All of them were moist, each bite had flavor and so fresh! They weren’t dry and didn’t crumble so that’s a plus too! The best scones I have ever tried! Raspberry Lemon and the Cinnamon chip coffee drizzle were our favorites!”

My family and I go every Christmas and it’s one of my favorite traditions because this place is so good!Kid-friendliness: My family and I go with everyone above 11 years old. That means that occasionally there may be a temper tantrum with the little ones but the staff always does their best to manage possible pickiness and short tempers.”

Ive had just about every thing on the menu in the last 6 months of visiting and have never been disappointed. Their house made Honey Mustard is exceptional and wish I could buy gallons of it for back home it's that good. The food really is the star of the show, you can tell nothing is frozen and everything is fresh and made to order. If you want the best burger in KC, you need to come in to Brewers Kitchen.”

We wanted to try it too, and today was the day. They was extremely flexible with our reservation (originally made for 730, they us change it to 6.)The server was great, friendly and professional and made awesome suggestions.The manager came out to let us know that one of the meals was over done, so it was going to be a few more minutes, and offered us free salads or soups.My wife had the lamb, which we both would recommend 100% I had the filet this time which was equally good. I had the Asparagus soup, which reminded me of a richer broccoli and cheese soup. We also had the Ahi Tartare, normally not my thing, but wanted to try something different, it didn't disappoint, if you like Ahi, I'd recommend.”

Especially all the people who get mad at me cause they’re too broke to pay for their meals, or their fries are too cold after coming out of a 500 degree fryer, or you’re having a bad day and decided it’s a good idea to throw a Sprite at me. “My grandmother and I came in early in the evening. We were guided to a table almost immediately despite not having a reservation and the seat was nice because we got a good view of everything happening around us. Our server went above and beyond: constantly checking in if we needed anything and asking how the food tasted as well as boxing up our food for us. The food was extraordinarily delicious, definitely not store bought sauce! I kept thinking how I’d love to bring more of my family in the future. Thank you for a great meal and excellent service!”

It is a small shop in downtown, so there arent a lot of places to park, which is to be expected. Good thing I walk everywhere. :)”

Everything in the cold case is glorious and fun to bring to a party. I always add Shatta on the wrap because the slow burn is perfect. The wrap is my favorite form of their sandwiches. The fries are killer. The portions are enough for 2 reasonable meals or 1 huge one and I like it that way.I hope they continue to persist as long as it feels good for them. The expectations were low because the building looked outdated and was right next to a weak dispensary. Upon looking it up on google, I was surprised to see it had 4.7 stars! Could it be a stoners paradise? Or could the food really that good? We ordered boneless chicken wings with the Asian chili sauce. The young lady taking our order was as sweet as a belle and had us pull aside for our wings to be freshly fried. A nice gentleman brought out our order with a smile and we unveiled the contents of the takeout container in the parking lot, only to be pleasantly surprised with the portion size and shiny glaze on the inside wings with sesame seeds and thick crispy fries. We tried a fry first and it was crunchy on the outside and a pillow on the inside. Immediately taken back with how perfect the fries were. One dunk into the ranch with a boneless wing, it headed straight for me mouth. Jesus must’ve been in that kitchen, because that was the juiciest, freshest, perfectly seasoned, most amazing chicken wing I’ve ever had. I will come here again. Enjoy. The total came to 13.26, for the entree, fried rice, and 1 crab rangoon. The place is drive-thru only and cash only; I waited approximately 10 min in the drive-thru from order to pick-up. Service was super friendly and the portion was huge-- as a light eater, I can easily get 3 meals out of this. Someone who eats more could get 2 meals. Compared with other local Chinese spots in Kansas City, I'd say you can expect a pretty decent experience here.”

There were tons of options that sounded incredible, and we ended up with two Panini's and one grinder. my sister and I subbed the chips for Parmesan potatoes and my mom ordered a side salad as well. Each of the sandwiches was delicious, especially my chicken pesto sandwich. I'm pretty picky about chicken on sandwiches and hate when chicken is even remotely rubbery, but this was very good. I was a little disappointed that the Parmesan potatoes were, in fact, just tots with Parmesan cheese on top. I was hoping for something more like fingerling potatoes, and I wouldn't have paid the charge if I knew this was the case. My mom side salad was excellent with a ton of delicious toppings. Overall while our food was very good, I don't think I would justify paying over $80 for a meal like this again.”

I understand. I known what I wanted to order and expressed it. then owner then made space for two older white people who came nearly 10 minutes or so after me (check cameras), great people but it was done. she took their order for food and drinks faster and never even returned back to me for my food request. I eat here when in town regularly because it's great flavor and helps me to eat healthy alternatives. I'm not sure if it was great coincidence. camera shows I sat down at 650pm or so, I journal daily when I go to restaurants as I'm working on my next comedy project. I was under the impression I was seen as lesser value. it's 737pm and they just received their appetizers. check your cameras. I walked sad, disappointed and degraded. I won't be back to this location but I wish you all continued success. update came back on April 12th, 2024 . another horrible experience. I ordered oxtail. I asked them could I just add extra greens in the dish (which comes with greens) in exchange for me not wanting mushroom rice. I also ordered the Mac and cheese. I was told they couldn't simply add more greens to my order. the rice didn't come with the dish but I was charged for the Mac and cheese and no extra greens added to the dish.”

Everything we ordered (drinks, appetizers, steaks, veg and dessert) was outstanding. Service was excellent with our server (Brendan) providing the perfect balance of attention and letting us talk... he seemed happy to be there and was complimentary of the other staff. The restaurant was full with the only open seats being due to a lack of servers that night (per the host). It is fairly expensive for KC but a bargain by Las Vegas prices for an equal experience. Great move Ameristar... this is now one of the best restaurants in KC and will be a draw for us and others to return... and gamble.”

We actually tried to have a more upscale dinner and Gordon Ramseys steak, but we wound up eating bread for over a hour and the waitress kept saying the food was almost done. After a whole hour wait my wife was frustrated to the fullest. The manager had an attitude and said the meal takes 2 and a half hours. Which is crazy. Even had attitude with it. I don't want to pull the race card but it sure felt like it being the only blacks in the building at the time. So we came to what we know. An unusual February weekend that had summer vibes, the weather was nice enough for Strange Days’s patio to be in full effect. They have flight options and I absolutely love the Hana Yori Dango, Strangeling, and Splendid Defending (also love their Scenic Trafficway but it wasn’t available this visit). Including the great music playing throughout my time here, I couldn’t have had a better time.”

“Cool place. We are in town from STL and tried to make a reservation at 5:15 on a Friday. The website said no tables available until after 7:15. Tried to call and they would not accept phone calls. We were 17 minutes away by foot and decided to walk anyway. Arrived at 5:45 to a 1/4 full restaurant and grabbed a seat at the bar. We were greeted fairly soon at the bar. Ordered great food and a beer. When it came time to order another drink it was difficult to get service. Ended up having 2 beers each but would have easily had 3 or 4 with attentive service. What was very odd was they came by and asked it we were done with our plates and if they could take them when we had them stacked and pushed forward for 20 minutes. Then our original bartender came and placed two clean martini glasses in the middle of all the dirty dishes to make martinis. This place is good and has a ton of potential. I wonder how much revenue potential they are losing per evening with the service. I am uncertain if they were under staffed but had 3 bar tenders.”

“Take Care is a new coffee shop located in the Crossroads. We went on a Sunday morning to grab coffee and work on some wedding stuff. It was nice that it wasn't took busy and we sat at the bar. I love the no tipping culture not because I am against tipping but because it means they are paying their employees responsibly. The staff is so nice and we ended up talking to them for awhile while we sat at the bar. They didn't offer any GF pastries when we were there but their biscuits were amazing! They also had a scone that looked delicious but I decided I had to try the biscuit after hearing about it. There are several butter and jam options. We both enjoyed our coffee and got a lot of work done during our time there. I will 100% be back.”

They also have boba and korean corn dogs which is a nice touch to keep the place more on trend. The convenience of being able to order online is very nice as well.”
