“This is my favorite place to have drinks and watch sports. Bartenders are Awesome. All of them, very personable.
The food is on point. All of it.
Great group of regulars, always new people coming in.
I can't say enough, my entire family enjoys Gaels!
Yes, I humped the World Cup. It is now mine.“
“Great place to get out and have a drink or two see a show, throw some darts play around of pool or go on a night when there is poker just a free game to just play and hang out with awesome people. Now the street car goes right by and has a stop not to far away.“
“I went to SideStreet last night, for my first visit. It's probably the friendliest LGBTQ+ establishment in town. All ages, sizes, shades, types, etc. I could walk up to any person or group and feel welcome.“

“I came, I made a request for a song for karaoke night at Missie B's in Kansas City, Missouri, it's a gay bar. I waited almost two hours. I was invisible. At the end of the night I asked her to take my name off the list. My Uber arrived. The karaoke DJ sang three times after I made my request. I was the only Latino who asked to sing at an otherwise empty bar. Latinos are invisible in Kansas City, I guess. But being shamed by a fellow black person was too much. Dorian kicked me out. I'm also black. He threatened to call the cops on me, after explaining why I felt unseen. As an attorney who is black and Latino that was deeply offensive. As a visitor from out of town, I have never been made to feel so unwelcome. I will never come back here again. If you know me you know me. Dorian calls the cops on Latinos. We are not seen here and we are not welcome. Even when we are educated and come with grace and respect.“

“Need a quiet comfy spot to talk with friends? They've got it. Need a sweet patio vibe? A night dancing? A bar scene? Photo ops? They literally have it all. The energy is always amazing, staff is incredible, and it's a safe space for a community I'm proud to be a part of 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️“
