I tried something new and it was delicious, I went to reorder it today and I accidentally ordered a tea instead of a latte. “I've often wanted to check out Messenger Coffee in the Crossroads, but was concerned about parking and it being on Grand - Busy street. I was having a, "Let's Seize the Day", moment and decided to give it a shot. Parking was as taxing as I guessed, but I only had to walk half a block to get inside. The first floor is austere and clean, but not very welcoming in my opinion. I'm much more of a soft fabric with muted lighting kind of girl. Still, it has an old charm that I can see a lot of people appreciating. I grabbed a treat and tea then headed upstairs to find seating. The stairs are daunting, but they have an elevator to make things easier. The second floor was packed, but the rooftop with its view of the city and firepit was empty - Score! There was a bit of wind, but nothing that the huge firepit couldn't handle. I happily spent my Seize the Day morning sipping hot tea, eating a tasty treat, and enjoying the view on the Messenger Coffee on Grand's rooftop.“
“I visited a roasterie coffee company in Kansas City, Missouri, for a tour.I made a reservation in advance, and the tour cost $5 per person.I could see that the small plane at outside, which seems like the company logo and symbol, arousing curiosity.I learned that many customers from around and about visited for the tour.The interior of the factory was spacious, with not many people working due to mechanization.Our tour guide, Mr Eric, was so enthusiastic and loud in her explanations that it was very thankfulThe various coffee aromas tasted on-site were very pleasant.The products produced seem to be popular and likely to be consumed a lot.Visiting the coffee factory for the first time will be a memorable experience.“

“I just visited this morning for a cup of coffee and a cheese danish! The shop itself is so cute and has such character. The local art on the wall was incredible and so fun to look at. The man working the shop was incredibly kind and patient, he was more than happy to take the time to make recommendations and talk about the selections on the menu. He was just so friendly which really brightened up my morning on such a rainy dreary day. The coffee is absolutely delicious, he recommended dulce de leche and It is currently powering me through my morning. There are 4 shots in the 20oz and it definitely packs a punch! The danish was so tasty and paired well with my coffee. If you have not tried this place I highly recommend that you do, you will leave with a smile and an excellent cup of coffee!“

“Take Care is a new coffee shop located in the Crossroads. We went on a Sunday morning to grab coffee and work on some wedding stuff. It was nice that it wasn't took busy and we sat at the bar. I love the no tipping culture not because I am against tipping but because it means they are paying their employees responsibly. The staff is so nice and we ended up talking to them for awhile while we sat at the bar. They didn't offer any GF pastries when we were there but their biscuits were amazing! They also had a scone that looked delicious but I decided I had to try the biscuit after hearing about it. There are several butter and jam options. We both enjoyed our coffee and got a lot of work done during our time there. I will 100% be back.“

“So many babies!! This cat cafe is perfect. The cats have plenty of room to roam around and can get some private time if they need it. This is the most chill I’ve seen cats in this environment. There are plenty of seating areas and even with a few different groups of people you can spread out and not feel like the area is crowded. The coffee was also very tasty and they have lots of merch you can buy. I would highly recommend visiting if you need some cats in your life.“

This location has the roaster on the floor for all to see with tables near it for cupping and what seemed to be coffee education courses. In the primary shop area, you will find everything you can think of in terms of motorcycle accessories for the most part along with your coffee essentials. Had my typical cortado and it was solid. Unfortunately they don’t serve it traditionally with sparkling water. Worthy visit if you are ever in the area.“

“It's 7 am and hot Blueberry Lemon Scone with a glaze just came out of the oven and is resting on the counter next to the register. You pretty much have to try one.The scone is delicious. I tend to ignore scones because I feel like they are a bit dry. This was still warm so it was moist in the center with a nice crunch on the edges. The blueberry and lemon flavors are equal and compliment each other perfect!Pour over Mexico Cerro Azul. This one was recommended as being a bit funky. It's awesome. I feel like there is flavors of cherry and bourbon. It is smooth and lightly roasted. I highly recommend!Decaf- this is what I drink daily and it was only available as an Americano. This is a light roast coffee with smooth flavor and great taste.The staff is friendly and spent time talking with a local person who seemed to be down on their luck. Also plenty of room for working or gathering with friends. Overall great experience.“

As it is, I enjoyed everything about my one visit.The storefront is unmistakeable, and I knew I was in the right place by all of the people coming and going. “Chingu Coffee has quickly become my favorite coffee shop in KC. Their lattes and flavorings are perfection. The misugaru latte is my go to, but I'm also partial to the lavender vanilla and they've done a great job on seasonals as well. This is also my favorite place to get beans for coffee at home. I don't remember which varieties we've tried, but so far they have all been shockingly flavorful and unique. The sausage burrito is also one of my fave grab and go breakfast options in KC as well. It's a Korean spin on a classic sausage egg and cheese burrito, with rice and ground pork and a flavorful gochujang sauce for dipping. It's got a nice spice to it without being overwhelming (or regretful) as an early morning meal. They panini press them too so it's got a nice crunch and they are compact and easy to eat without making a mess. My only complaint? A 10oz latte is too small for me and a 16oz is too big. A petty thing to complain about? Sure. But here's hoping they invest in 12oz cups in the future!“
“A surprise find of a little shop I found by googling milkshakes. This was the first instance of the kids getting to see rolled up ice cream in person. The guy doing the chopping and freezing was fast and very skilled. It was pretty much a show with the ice cream.The lady working the till was excellent too, giving the kids plenty of chances order on their own.Overall a 10 out of 10 experience. I think I will be treating the kids to it again.“

We got both and split them - they were both so yummy but the chicken sandwich was mind blowing! I hate chewy chicken but it was super tender with a buttery biscuit.
