“I try to explore local eateries and coffee shops whenever I’m on work trips, and I have to hand it to Fitti’s. The atmosphere is so homey and cozy, the coffee was amazing and I also tried one of their brownies - everything was fantastic. The day I visited was kind of rainy, so the vintage lights glowing and the soft music playing was reminiscent of when I watch those “coffee shop jazz” videos on YouTube. I’m excited to return!“

“This tiny brick building has been lovingly transformed into an enchanting coffee and pastry neighborhood way station. It is surrounded by old lovely homes in the lush five-block historic district of Westwood Hills. The coffees, other specialty drinks, and unique pastries are highly comforting and enjoyable while seated in chairs located on the comfortable outdoor patio or at your final destination at the nearby Country Club Plaza, Westport, or the large University of Kansas Health Systems Campus. The friendliness of the attentive staff at this quaint shop and the other adjacent shops should not be missed.“

“Last week I stopped into Deviant Kava in downtown Parkville and tried one of their specialty lattes — the Samoan Hotspot. It’s a mix of Ghirardelli chocolate with a little serrano pepper kick, which sounds unusual but was actually really good. The shop itself is inside one of Parkville’s historic houses at 405 Main St, which makes it a cozy place to sit by the window and enjoy a drink while walking through downtown. One of my favorite parts of working in real estate here is getting to explore local spots like this and share them with people who are discovering Parkville for the first time. The flavor is great, and just as importantly, the ice cubes are big so they don’t melt as quickly. The vibe of the shop is also great.“

“I met a friend for coffee here yesterday. What a great experience. We each had 2 drinks and stayed to visit for 2.5 hours! We each had a latte and a tea. Both were great! We felt welcome and I even joked around with Charlie. I was being my usual weird self and he was very entertained. We will definately return often.“

“I gave them 5 stars minus 1 for not updating website because everything about it looked awesome but sadly , we got there on a thursday morning , and it wasn't even open even though it said it was open on website. We drove a half an hour to get there and were pretty disappointed. So you might call first to make sure that they're actually open when they say they're going to be.“
