“I try to explore local eateries and coffee shops whenever I’m on work trips, and I have to hand it to Fitti’s. The atmosphere is so homey and cozy, the coffee was amazing and I also tried one of their brownies - everything was fantastic. The day I visited was kind of rainy, so the vintage lights glowing and the soft music playing was reminiscent of when I watch those “coffee shop jazz” videos on YouTube. I’m excited to return!“

“Stopped at this quaint coffee spot in KC to get my mom some much needed coffee! We got there around 10am and there was a line out the door. Don’t let that deter you! Their service was friendly and efficient! A line just means the coffee is good! ;). Ample parking and seating to enjoy your drink or wait for it to be made. My mom ordered a Bean Bean (brown sugar) espresso - she said it was strong likes she wants and not overly sweet, which she also prefers.“

“I stopped into Waterbird Coffee in downtown KC and ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte, and it was absolutely delicious, especially on a cold day. The balance of sweetness and warm spice was spot on, and the espresso flavor still came through nicely in every sip. The cafe itself has a warm, inviting vibe that makes it an ideal spot to thaw out and relax for a bit. 5/5 and highly recommend making a stop here for a comforting cup of coffee—get the brown sugar cinnamon latte if you need something cozy and satisfying.“

“Last week I stopped into Deviant Kava in downtown Parkville and tried one of their specialty lattes — the Samoan Hotspot. It’s a mix of Ghirardelli chocolate with a little serrano pepper kick, which sounds unusual but was actually really good. The shop itself is inside one of Parkville’s historic houses at 405 Main St, which makes it a cozy place to sit by the window and enjoy a drink while walking through downtown. One of my favorite parts of working in real estate here is getting to explore local spots like this and share them with people who are discovering Parkville for the first time. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping in.“

“The Cafe was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The vibe was great! I ordered a matcha and pork tamale. The drink was good, but I was disappointed in the food. I wouldn’t even call it a Tamale. It was paper thin, hardly any meat and the ends were extremely hard. I would imagine from heating it up in the microwave. I ordered the tamale per the reviews and recommendation of an employee, but I was not impressed.“

“My wife and I visited and took a tour of the factory. We did the pre-tour flights of coffee, the tour, and the post-tour demonstration. Honestly, the pre-tour flights wasn't much and looking back I probably wouldn't do that again. But it's not like we paid a whole bunch, so I'm not super disappointed or anything. The tour was good. A little long, but good. We learned a lot on the tour. The post-tour demonstration was great! I loved getting some input on how to make my coffee a bit better. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Pricing was excellent!“

“Today was my husband and I’s first time trying Dutch Bros. We went to the Dutch Bros on Antioch Rd in Kansas City. We were greeted by good music and a friendly gentleman named Aaron. He was polite and patient with us as we decided which drink would be best to try first. He gave us the wonderful recommendation of trying the Blended Fruit Punch with the sour candy straw and it did not disappoint. It was tasty, exciting and our new favorite beverage on the market! “We stopped at Overflow Coffee while we happened to be in the area, and we are so glad we did! First of all, Mark and Hannah were both so wonderful and kind. They had made one of our drinks hot on accident when it was supposed to be iced and we offered to pay for the new one (we also changed the syrup flavor) but they gave it to us for free and were so kind about it. The coffees were delicious and the spinach, bacon, and swiss crepe was fantastic!! They have a gluten free crepe option and it was great. They roast their own beans and make their own syrups and you can tell they put thought & care into everything they make. The hot coffee cups also had Bible verses written on them which I loved. Great people & a great place!“
