The atmosphere is so homey and cozy, the coffee was amazing and I also tried one of their brownies - everything was fantastic. The day I visited was kind of rainy, so the vintage lights glowing and the soft music playing was reminiscent of when I watch those “coffee shop jazz” videos on YouTube. I’m excited to return!“

“Last week I stopped into Deviant Kava in downtown Parkville and tried one of their specialty lattes — the Samoan Hotspot. It’s a mix of Ghirardelli chocolate with a little serrano pepper kick, which sounds unusual but was actually really good. The shop itself is inside one of Parkville’s historic houses at 405 Main St, which makes it a cozy place to sit by the window and enjoy a drink while walking through downtown. One of my favorite parts of working in real estate here is getting to explore local spots like this and share them with people who are discovering Parkville for the first time. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping in.“

“I stumbled upon this little shop after begging the GPS to find the closest coffee shop on my way to work. Being greeted by a calm, sweet, warm eyed pup and great coffee was just what I needed. I will definitely be making this a regular stop. The coffee is great (I had an iced mud pit) and the biscuits and gravy were the perfect comfy breakfast! Highly recommend checking this place out!“

“Stopped at this quaint coffee spot in KC to get my mom some much needed coffee! We got there around 10am and there was a line out the door. Don’t let that deter you! Their service was friendly and efficient! A line just means the coffee is good! ;). Ample parking and seating to enjoy your drink or wait for it to be made. My mom ordered a Bean Bean (brown sugar) espresso - she said it was strong likes she wants and not overly sweet, which she also prefers.“

The coffee was terrific. The place had a funky yet welcoming vibe. Today 12/15/23, I invited my coffee ☕️ group to meet there & they were equally impressed. We’ll be back.“

absolutely love this place!! i was a first timer today and genuinely cannot wait to be back. i got sick of my school's library and was on the hunt for cafes with long hours. the thing is, the other cafes with long hours are lowkey cramped and crowded and idk i'm someone that needs to be able to move around a lot and have flexibility in seating. well this cafe DELIVEREEEDDDDDD so much different seating, such a wide space, and amazing drinks!! honestly really wanna gatekeep this place but i loved it too much to not spread the word and give it more business. also loved the decor and i am so excited to go to some of the community events that are being held at blip and learn more about the history of the west bottoms!

“The Cafe was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The vibe was great! I ordered a matcha and pork tamale. The drink was good, but I was disappointed in the food. I wouldn’t even call it a Tamale. It was paper thin, hardly any meat and the ends were extremely hard. I would imagine from heating it up in the microwave. I ordered the tamale per the reviews and recommendation of an employee, but I was not impressed.“

“Coffee is something I’m so particular I make it myself, but being on vacation, that’s not a luxury I have so for the singular time I tried Chingu, it seems that they are a viable go to. I got a seasonal flavored latte and man, it’s my definition of perfect; great coffee to flavoring ratio, and neither notes overpowered one another. My partner also got a seasonal choice of chamomile matcha with apricot cold foam and I’m versed enough with matcha to know that that was perfect as well, the tea was present, which complimented the earthy and fruity notes. Hence how I drew my conclusion that they are fantastic, as the restaurant literally alongside them which I’ll also be reviewing. Didn’t get food so I cannot speak much upon their options, though I will note I saw a couple that had been seated for a long time before me and my partner, got their food after ordering our drinks so one would assume they make their own food options in house.“

“The absolute definition of a cunty little European coffee shop- this one is for the girls. Every touch from the curated book collection, to the photography, to the cozy nooks and corners is so thoughtfully curated- you can tell a lot of heart and soul went into designing the space. It has a luxury to it without being tacky- such a difficult balance that they have achieved beautifully. On top of that, the food and drink selection is above and beyond. A Chartreuse Latte?? Yes thank you I think I will. I highly recommend trying a bite to eat as well- we had the broccoli bake and it was divine, and we can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

They have really nailed the perfect combination of chic and cozy. A super cute, romantic spot to set up your laptop, or chill with your friends, or read a novel. We always love supporting local coffee spots, and we will definitely be back.“

“Today was my husband and I’s first time trying Dutch Bros. We went to the Dutch Bros on Antioch Rd in Kansas City. We were greeted by good music and a friendly gentleman named Aaron. He was polite and patient with us as we decided which drink would be best to try first. He gave us the wonderful recommendation of trying the Blended Fruit Punch with the sour candy straw and it did not disappoint. It was tasty, exciting and our new favorite beverage on the market! “You literally can't miss this place because of the giant airplane parked on top of the building. I came by The Roasterie Factory Cafe for a quick afternoon pick-me-up and loved it. I got a classic cold brew and it was incredibly smooth and bold without being overly bitter.

The inside is massive, super industrial-cool, and has tons of seating if you actually want to sit down and get some work done. The staff was really efficient and friendly even though they were pretty busy. It's a Kansas City classic for a reason—definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!“
