“I’ve heard of Equal Minded in the past, but recently a friend hosted an event there and it was great! The space was easy to set up in, the coffee and snacks were great & the customer service. Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. The more I get to know about what they offer and the small businesses they support, the more I enjoy becoming a customer there. I also really like that they have some Sugar Free options & I really like their Honey Lavender Matcha too!“

“I stopped into Waterbird Coffee in downtown KC and ordered a brown sugar cinnamon latte, and it was absolutely delicious, especially on a cold day. The balance of sweetness and warm spice was spot on, and the espresso flavor still came through nicely in every sip. “This record store/ coffee shop is a rare gem. We were blown away by the selection of vinyl from all different genres. We didn't have coffee, so no review about that, but the coffee bar area looked clean and welcoming. The owner took the time to help us select a record from a local band. We're from out of town and wanted to take a gift back for a friend. He asked us a few questions and helped us make the selection. He knew a lot about the local music scene and was friendly.“

“I did not try their food. I had an oat milk latte with mocha flavoring. The coffee flavor is rich and delicious. The mocha flavor was tasty, but absolutely not at all overwhelming, so the coffee is able to shine. Not overly sweet. Highly recommend!“

He was polite and patient with us as we decided which drink would be best to try first.
