Bisou is a French chic coffee shop that brightens up Kansas City. The space is the absolute definition of a cunty little European coffee shop, with a luxury to it without being tacky. Every touch from the curated book collection to the photography to the cozy nooks and corners is thoughtfully curated, creating a super cute, romantic spot to set up a laptop, chill with friends, or read a novel. The atmosphere is beautiful, with amazing art and details incorporated throughout.
The food and drink selection is above and beyond. The Chartreuse Latte and the Snores Latte are heavenly, and the drip or poured coffee is amazing. The pastries are life-altering, flaky, soft, and yummy. Meals like the broccoli bake are divine, and the biscuits and gravy come in the most perfect portion paired with coffee. The baristas are sweet, incredibly talented, friendly, and honest with recommendations. The wait time is minimal. This is what coffee should be.
