Best coffee shop in town. Nowhere else will you be able to taste flavorful dishes made with LOVE. I am currently sick right now, and what I needed was my mom’s homemade caldos, and the Tortilla Chicken Soup was the perfect fix to comfort me. I stumbled upon anchor Island and it is the best coffee and food with the most relaxing atmosphere! I love the free- hearted Southern California vibe! I walked in and felt like I just walked into a sunny Southern California beach cafe, A bit of therapy after a dark, cold KC winter! The chillaqulles and breve latte were delicious!The best way to start a day!

I love coming to Anchor Island Coffee. The atmosphere is welcoming, inclusive, and queer owned. All the staff I have met are very friendly.They have the best iced carmel oatmilk latte in the area, and their buffalo chicken quesadilla is delicious.The downstairs area is quite small but there is plenty of seating upstairs.
