Urban Cafe

The Urban Café food truck served food at our Felicitas von Neuman-Cosel “Harmony Is Not A Coincidence” symposium in Platte City, Missouri hosted by Liz Pruyser at her farm, Red Fern Ranch and organized by me, Lou Sanders of The Darke Hirse Farm. The food and the service were exceptional! Thank you so much.

This was my first visit to this cafe, and it won't be my last! Stopped by for brunch with my gluten-intolerant friend after a hike and Urban Cafe had so many great options that looked delicious for both of us! We got the Midwest omelette and the truffled mushroom omelette. They arrived relatively quickly and was delicious. Easy to find right on the corner of 55th and Troost with limited street parking but plenty of parking in the back. Although the dining room is small my friend and I had no trouble finding a table at lunch time on a weekday. The table was close to the front door and every time someone opened the door a gust of cold air rushed in. When I return to try their breakfast I will try to get a table far away from the cold.
