“The food and service were perfect. The only problem was we were sitting in the bar area and a small child that looked like he was 6 years old was seated at the bar. This is not an appropriate place for a child. Patrons sitting at the bar having drinks do not care to sit next to a child.“

“Today was my husband's 75th birthday. He chose to have his celebration meal at Season's 52 and we were pleased as usual with the service (thanks to Michael) and the delicious food in true Season's 52 beautiful ambiance! It was truly memorable experience.“

“An amazing place! Delicious food and fun drinks. Think tapas- you order a bunch and share each. They course them out to you. A bit cramped if youre sitting in the tables for two, youre pretty close to the tables next to you. But its so yummy its worth it!“

“Are you looking for a breakfast burrito that isn't overloaded with one particular ingredient, packs flavor, and is held together by a Yoli tortilla? THEN LOOK NO FURTHER. Seriously. I'm a snob when it comes to breakfast burritos, I want fluffy eggs, I want seasoned potatoes, I want thick bacon that is well distributed and not greasy. This burrito has it all + a aioli dipping sauce that is spicy and creamy and delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Added a cinnamon roll on the side because, duh.“

“Had a great experience at Yard House downtown. The food was phenomenal and everything came out exactly as expected. Our server, Aaron, was very attentive and did a great job throughout the meal. The entire staff was friendly and even changed the TVs so we could watch the Olympics, which was much appreciated. Excellent service and atmosphere—would definitely come back.“

“Lonnie McFadden is an exceptional performer— he seamlessly intertwines moving renditions of jazz classics with KC jazz history and the most soulful tap dancing I have ever seen. We had to leave early this evening and were unhappy we had to miss the last half hour because he and his excellent band delivered a first rate jazz club experience. We will definitely return!“

“Kenny, our server was so awesome. He honestly made the experience along with the other teammates as well who brought out our food! When I walked in, even the host knew who I was with already, which made me feel very warm!!! I'm so glad I had my birthday experience here and I would recommend others going as well. The crab apple sushi roll was so good and I loved the sake cocktail along with the margarita cocktail. The scallops were phenomenal as well overall I enjoyed my whole experience 10 out of 10 and I will be back!!!!“

“Amazing, from the minute you site down you get the beast tasting, fresh baked bread. I had the Cauliflower appetizer to start . And then the crab cake. Finished with best creme brulie.

The menu changes everyday so. I had what you may not get to have.

“My wife and I’ve been coming to the drum room for decades. We really love this fun hotel bar with a ton of history. Our latest adventure transpired on Easter weekend 2026.

We encountered a lovely bartender by the name of Jennifer, who was super kind and helped us do a little tasting of some different spirits we were interested in.

And she crafted our usual cocktails deftly. She even gave us a tip on how to get into another restaurant that we wanted to snag a reservation for.

Jennifer’s great service was appreciated and very well regarded by my wife and me.

“Local Kansas Citian....stayed this weekend with my husband and had an AMAZING time! The room was spacious and clean! Bed was super comfy, and it was actually very quiet! We could see the city life below from our corner room, but most of the noise was completely blocked out! The hotel bar and the terrace bar were both amazing! And breakfast at the hotel was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!“

We ordered the ricotta and the calamari. Both were very good. The atmosphere was less than pleasant. I have been to the Drum Room countless times and had no idea about the restaurant in the hotel! We decided to split the grilled peach salad, the fried goat cheese salad and a side of fries. These salads were so good! I feel like you don't often hear people rave about salads after visiting a restaurant but these were both great. I would totally order them again. Our waitress was super nice and even let us know right when we sat down that they were short staffed and that she was also helping with room service. I always appreciate when staff is up front about situations like that because it helps customers understand and manage expectations. Our drinks were rather strong and we both had a hard time finishing them, but overall we had a good experience!“
