“We had only been to Rockhille Grilel once before and didn't have a great experience. Buuuut, we decided to give it another try during their Happy Hour. I got their Bruschetta and it was the BEST I've ever eaten and so delightfully plated. Simple, yet classic. Our server, Trevor was EXCELLENT. The Rockhill Grille will DEFINITELY be on our, "regular" list“

And, we love the fall menu with all the mushrooms, particularly the mushroom flatbread!“

“Great food and service, even though I don’t have a table reservation on Christmas Eve, the receptionist gave us a community table and the food was delicious and priced reasonably. Been here before several years ago and the service and food was consistently great as before.

Parking: Plaza parking lot next to the Starbucks just 2 minutes walk to this restaurant, feel safe park there and plenty of space.“

“Went in for a birthday dinner on a Wednesday night with a reservation for 2. Arrived at 730pm and was seated immediately. Staff were very friendly. Asked for recommendations on a small menu and was happy with their suggestions. We ordered the broccoli, gyoza, ravioli, swordfish, & lamb. Wanted the focaccia but they had run out.
The wine list was good and reasonably priced for a small plates / finer dining restaurant.
The plates were well paced, allowing us to enjoy each plate on its own. The tables are also very small so anymore than one plate at a time would be a struggle. Portion sizes were actually quite good, and with 5 plates for 2 people it was perfect.
The swordfish was the best dish, honestly the most flavorful thick steak cut, with a delicious sauce and gnocchi accompanying. Could have just had a plate of that each with some sides it was that good!
Was $250 for 2 people with a bottle of wine. Well worth it. Would recommend.“

“Had the 8oz filet mashed potatoes and vegetables. Steak cooked perfectly,seasoned well and mashed potatoes and veggies were amazingly good! Sat at the bar and was in/out on a busy Friday night. Great service and place is well kept and clean.“

“Strongly recommend Lonnie's Reno Club for celebrating anniversaries, promotions, and birthdays. I suggest large groups. The more, the merrier.
Lonnie is world class for entertainment. The band is amazing as well. Great food dishes (Prawns, salmon, beef wellington).
I guarantee that you will be in for a treat. You will learn about the rich jazz history of Kansas City and why this establishment is named "Lonnie's Reno Club."
Overall, this is one of Kansas City's best kept secrets. The live singing, the food, the tap dancing, the instruments.
Lastly, no one feels like a stranger at Lonnie's!!!“

“This place is stunning. The service is amazing but the FOOD oh man! There’s no words to describe the food!
More than that. We have an allergy and when we go (which has been several times) the staff doesn’t come to tell you what you can’t have but instead the chef will take the challenge or modifying the dish just to accommodate said allergy! You want to know who else does that? Nobody!! And man oh man is he a tremendous chef!

“Room 39 was the perfect spot for my only night in Kansas City. I made the mistake of deciding to go vegetarian, right before I visited a city famous for its bbq meat! So glad I found this gem of a restaurant. I had a perfect table by the window, with the radiator under the table making it cozy and toasty. The cocktails and dishes were fantastic - two Boulevardiers, a Brussels sprout soup, gnocchi with goat cheese, and the flourless chocolate cake with Earl Grey tea. My server Tory was terrific. I can’t recommend it highly enough.“

“If you are a biker, stay away. The owner tells the help not to serve you. Turned about 50 of us away so we went to twin peaks. Greeted w open arms. This isn't the first time we've tried going there on the bikes both times we were asked to not be served, loudly across the bar“

“NYE Dinner here was fantastic! First time here and we'll definitely return.

The staff was friendly and attentive. A nice atmosphere with some background music to enjoy with your meal. Not too loud so you can still have a conversation.

The food was top notch. We opted for the elote tater tots, deviled eggs, and pickles for our appetizers. All were fantastic, especially the elote tots.

For the main course two of us had the nightly steak special, which included a lobster butter topping (which could've been melted a bit more over the steak) that was flavorful and accompanied the steak well. The asparagus, spinach, and mashed potatoes were a great pairing. The third person had the veggie burger which was great and came with some perfectly crisp fries.

For dessert we had the chocolate tort with fresh fruit. Great way to round out the meal.“

The flavors & quality of the food is unmatched, from the salads to the bolognese and flank steak. We highly recommend the Korean empanadas! We enjoyed the modern yet relaxed atmosphere & music. “Took my son here 12/21. We are both drummers and thought this would be a cool experience and Drum Room did not disappoint. He had the Salmon, I got the brick chicken. That's a dish that will stay on your mind. Excellent overall experience. You can tell the kitchen is operated by actual chef's. Bar staff were very friendly. We'll be returning for sure. “This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and impeccable service. Thier wine list was curated by the gods. However, while the food was all prepared correctly and they provided everything they said they would, the food lacked personality or anything that make the dishes unique to ocean prime. I had the surf n turf, ahi tuna, oysters, and sea bass, but none of the items stood out even though they were cooked perfectly. While the food was good, I cannot recommend spending this kind of money without receiving a fresh, memorable experience.“

They were tender and slightly chewy which is a plus but I was expecting it to be bone in. There wasn’t much flavor 6/10 The cheesy corn reminded me of mash potatoes and corn. 5/10 the baked beans was great 8/10.“
