“My husband and I wanted a date night but couldn't decide on seafood or steak. We were both happy with the menu and drink selection here. He had the steak and lobster and I tried the blak lentil bolognese with strawberry spinach salad. So good with Chianti and he had Cliquot champagne. Elijah, our server, was very attentive and took very good care of us! Great night!“

“The Anter Room absolutely exceeded expectations. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, but the standout of the night was, surprisingly, the carrots. They were perfectly cooked with an incredible balance of smoky, sweet and spicy flavours – easily one of the best vegetable dishes I’ve had in a long time.

The dumplings were silky, delicate and generously topped with an addictive crunchy seasoning that made each bite even better. The scallops were cooked perfectly and paired with fresh, vibrant accompaniments that really let the seafood shine.

From the first plate to the last, everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. Combined with the relaxed atmosphere, attentive service and great drinks, it made for a fantastic dining experience.

“Calling FIFA — welcome to KC. There are many great restaurants in town, but this is the best one imo. Fresh ingredients, elevated in-house sauces and dressings — Hemma Hemma has it all. Amazing and delicious food that is good for you. Owned by a woman who is a professionally trained chef. Doesn’t get any better. Great atmosphere downtown and Brookside. I was there the other night and a party of 6 effusively complimented the owner on their way out for the amazing food, service and accommodations. Top shelf — go there, FIFA people ❤“

“Local Kansas Citian....stayed this weekend with my husband and had an AMAZING time! The room was spacious and clean! Bed was super comfy, and it was actually very quiet! We could see the city life below from our corner room, but most of the noise was completely blocked out! The hotel bar and the terrace bar were both amazing! And breakfast at the hotel was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!“

“Staying at the Hilton Presidents Hotel in downtown Kansas City we stopped by the Drum Room located on property and accessed via hotel lobby or its side entrance. Good and atmosphere were so good we ate there 2 times. Started with Fried Goat Cheese and Beet Salad and finished with the KC Beach Burger with garlic fries and Meatball Farfalle pasta dish. All were amazing and didn’t venture far on our second visit and skipped the salad as the 3 items were way too much on the first evening. Second evening we shared a bottle of Sav Blanc from N.Z. Amazing.“

It was the perfect spot for our guests to go while the ballroom was being transitioned into our reception! We ordered the ricotta and the calamari. Both were very good. The atmosphere was less than pleasant. “We stopped by here before seeing a show at The Music Hall. It was great because it was within walking distance and we could make a reservation. I have been to the Drum Room countless times and had no idea about the restaurant in the hotel! We decided to split the grilled peach salad, the fried goat cheese salad and a side of fries. These salads were so good! I feel like you don't often hear people rave about salads after visiting a restaurant but these were both great. I would totally order them again. Our waitress was super nice and even let us know right when we sat down that they were short staffed and that she was also helping with room service. I always appreciate when staff is up front about situations like that because it helps customers understand and manage expectations. Our drinks were rather strong and we both had a hard time finishing them, but overall we had a good experience!“
