Great service and people that seem to love their jobs made our experience memorable celebrating birthdays & an anniversary. Food was excellent and the 10-layer carrot cake knocked it out of the park. Needless to say, we will back! Coming in from Wisconsin and ending our trip at Ocean Prime made the weekend!“

“Sea Capitan was a great experience overall. The food had really good flavors and everything we tried was enjoyable. One thing I’d suggest—adding salsas to the dishes really takes them to the next level and brings out even more depth in the flavors.

Service was great, attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance made it a really nice place to sit back and enjoy the meal. Definitely a spot worth visiting, and I’d happily come back.“

He had the steak and lobster and I tried the blak lentil bolognese with strawberry spinach salad. So good with Chianti and he had Cliquot champagne. “Tonight we came to Thai Orchid for my birthday and sat in Dylan’s section and he was outstanding! So friendly and attentive. He gave us just enough time without being pushy. Our food was wonderful and fresh. I cannot recommend this location enough. We ordered the soft spring rolls, steamed dumplings, shrimp yellow curry and the shrimp pad Thai. Delicious!“

“My husband and I came in from out of state and he made a reservation for us at Piropos, everything from our contact with the hostess to our departure from the restaurant was personable and the atmosphere was perfect for our date night the food was delicious and our waitress, Catherine, was extremely attentive and kind, as I’m in a wheelchair, making our visit one of the best nights we had on our 5 day stay in Kansas City! I would recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a classy atmosphere with the best waitstaff and food we’ve ever experienced!“

“Truly incredible meal. We went for a special occasion and had two amazing filets. Cannot recommend the Filet Pierpont enough. The Zinfandel soaked figs….chefs kiss. The cocktails as well- any of the old fashioned drinks, can’t go wrong. Don’t miss out on the corn and crab bisque either. An experience! We also had a very accommodating waiter, Zach, who made the the whole night memorable. We hope to visit again when we’re back in town. Thank you!!!“

“Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. The atmoshpere is perfect for a memorable date night- tastefully furnished, subdued lighting and not loud. The service was outstanding- very attentive but not intrusive; timely but not rushed. The food was good but not quite the dining experience we expected for the prices. The filet was good and grilled to order, your badic filet. The scallops were fairly small for a $64 entree; the risotto, however was very good and the portion size was appropriate. We had the brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes for sides and were disappointed with both. The brussel sprouts were big and tough; the au gratin potatoes were heavy and oily.“

I planned a fun lunch out with my friends and when I walked in (fashionably late, only about 45 minutes which is reasonable) and they had already finished eating and seemed like they were ready to go. Now I’m just feeling kinda awkward for no reason because I thought my friends would be more excited to hang out and stay for a long time here! Maybe the restaurant can implement a service where they match you with better friends haha! “The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“We stopped by here before seeing a show at The Music Hall. It was great because it was within walking distance and we could make a reservation. I have been to the Drum Room countless times and had no idea about the restaurant in the hotel! We decided to split the grilled peach salad, the fried goat cheese salad and a side of fries. These salads were so good! I feel like you don't often hear people rave about salads after visiting a restaurant but these were both great. I would totally order them again. Our waitress was super nice and even let us know right when we sat down that they were short staffed and that she was also helping with room service. I always appreciate when staff is up front about situations like that because it helps customers understand and manage expectations. Our drinks were rather strong and we both had a hard time finishing them, but overall we had a good experience!“

“One of the nicest self serve car washes I’ve been to. There’s places to hang your mats to spray them and all of the water soap brushes and everything are always in excellent condition. They keep it very clean. One time I accidentally left my mats hanging and came back a couple hours later and they were laying out in the front waiting for me. Very well run.“

“Service was amazing. Drinks fabulous and so really was everything else just for the price we had wanted perfect steaks. Now, they were perfect on beef quality one was just a bit cooked to much. We ate it we paid for it still worth eating so, not a complaint just a point and why I didn't do 5 stars. Still would recommend as everything was really worth the journey and beef quality was amazing and the steak wasn't seasoned with anything but beef so we were over the moon.“

They cook the pork differently, giving the rice a altogether improved flavor. I went basic with the chicken wings and they are to die for. This place is a hidden gem.“
