One of our favorite places to eat in Kansas City. The food, service and ambiance were all outstanding.
We were having dinner celebrating my daughter and Patrice was our server. She was absolutely fabulous. She was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our evening so special. My family has severe allergies and she made sure we felt comfortable with all our choices so we could relax and enjoy our night. I hope to have her take care of us again! It was a wonderful evening in every regard!
Joellen absolutely took the best care of us. Table number five was the absolute best table for that group last night. Service was awesome. The food is great. The wine was even better. Thank you all for making that dinner Something special.

The Capital Grille offers exceptional drinks and food, with a wonderful ambiance and attentive staff. Customers praise the delicious, well-timed meals and knowledgeable servers. Parking is convenient with quick and polite valet service. The restaurant is considered one of the best steak restaurants in KC, providing a fantastic dining experience for all. Guests highlight the attentive service of servers who make special occasions feel even more memorable. The staff, including Chef Grant, shows genuine care, especially when handling dietary restrictions and ensuring every dish is flawless. The Managing Partner, Kim Halloran, is a true leader. The food was spectacular, and the service was incredible, with servers making sure guests had everything they needed. The table was decorated with little ❤️'s and a congratulation card for an anniversary. The 22oz. bone-in ribeye was very good, and the shrimp cocktail is considered the best in Kansas City, featuring 5 XXL shrimp, beautifully presented at an excellent price point. The appetizer has always been a strength of theirs. While some note that the lighting may make guests feel sleepy, most find the overall experience top-notch, with seamless teamwork and hospitality. Although there might be some sticker shock on the check, many agree that the meal is worth it. The restaurant continues to deliver a top-tier experience that keeps customers eager to return. Recent guests also praise the excellent service, especially from server Janzen, who took the time to get to know them personally, made thoughtful recommendations for dietary restrictions, and offered fantastic mocktails based on their favorite fruits. They also enjoyed trying the gluten-free espresso cake before leaving.
