“Went to Barbacoa, 5500 Troost, for brunch Sunday morning, what a delightful experience. I ordered Monie’s plate. It was mouthwatering. The serving was so generous, that I took half of it home. The corn tortillas were soft and warm enough to make a taco, the beans were flavorful and not spicy, the carnitas were fall apart tender and very tasty, perfectly fried potatoes, and fluffy scrambled eggs. The salsa was very tasty and not overly spicy. The coffee was even tasty (Costco Kirkland medium roast). Unlike some breakfast restaurants, the background music was so low and mellow (helps with digestion), I could hear my friends talk. We have to go back during the week for dinner. UPDATE - I forgot one very important thing, the service was excellent. Our group was one of two in the restaurant, but shortly afterwards other start to arrive. There was only one friendly waitress, who, despite the growing crowd, was able to get back to us about more coffee and to check on us“

“Ragazza is my favorite restaurant. We’ve been several times. Tonight we had Liz as a server and Channing helped out as well. Both of them were awesome. The food.. as always was awesome. Drinks superb. If you haven’t tried Ragazza you should. The Eggplant parm is my favorite but everything is honestly delicious.“

“Was really good! Some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Came in during Sunday happy hour after 4 and was told all cocktails are $2 off, however got charged full price for one of hours. Bartender was too busy to ask about it after we got the itemized receipt. Overall, delicious. Just wish we would have gotten the full special.“

“Not only was the food exceptional, our waitress Lauren was absolutely amazing! She recommended the wood grilled corn and bacon flatbread, which was amazing, heard us talking about desserts and a bakery we wanted to try and gave her review. Attentive and nice. Will definitely be back for all the other seasons to come!“

“Had an amazing experience here after dinner for a late night drink! We really enjoyed the service and the calm atmosphere - not to mention the amazing view. Overall it was cozy, but also big enough so not noisy at all, good vibes music playing and also very family friendly. There’s a space on the side for families to play games.
We ordered two cocktails, one Passion Punch (rum based) and one Black Honey (gin based). Both were really good, and I especially liked the passion punch - it was sweet, smoky, and had a bit of spice.
Our server was also very nice, he shared amusing stories of his shift during the World Cup events - and was very attentive with his services. I would come back to visit this bar next time I’m in town.“

“We were having dinner celebrating my daughter and Patrice was our server. She was absolutely fabulous. She was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our evening so special. My family has severe allergies and she made sure we felt comfortable with all our choices so we could relax and enjoy our night. I hope to have her take care of us again! It was a wonderful evening in every regard!“

“Just. Wow! Cannot say enough about this gorgeous cocktail lounge! The two gentlemen running the place/bartending were the utmost professionals and so attentive. The cocktail recipes were amazingly curated to perfection and creativity! The vibe/decor/atmosphere was impeccable! We felt so fancy as we enjoyed their great happy hour drinks and prices! We will definitely become regulars! GET THE OLD FASHION!!!“
