That being said the food was really good. Even better though was the staff, very friendly and attentive, had 4 or 5 different employees ask how the food was and make sure we didn't need anything.“
“Visited Smitty's for a Sunday lunch: we ordered the Thunder Fries and the Sweet Oklahoma burger ($8.79). The service was very quick and the food especially tasty. The burgers are à la cart, so you have to buy fries extra but they are very shareable. Our bartender was very friendly and responsive. Compared with other locally-owned burger restaurants, today's experience was exceptional in the areas of creativity, taste, and service.“

Chris came and spoke to us specifically about our steak and hamburger orders. Incredibly knowledgeable about how beef should be cooked to have the most flavor. If you are still reading this long review, you need to know what happened at the end of our meal to understand how truly amazing everyone is at Governor Stumpy’s. I had a medical emergency and was unable to walk. I was guided to a table and I lost consciousness. I’m not sure how long I sat there, but a doctor who was eating at the restaurant was immediately called over. I believe Chris stayed with me the whole time too. After 20-30 minutes and I felt I could move, Chris had her staff surround me and line up all the way to the back door (I’m pretty sure this is how it happened, but things were a bit fuzzy) to help me to our car to go to the ER. I did not want to have an ambulance come and they respected that. I am not a religious person, but I felt like Chris and her staff were angels surrounding me to help me through this scary situation. I am fine now and can’t wait to go back to Governor Stumpy’s. Thank you a million times over to everyone!“

The Vibe is super chill with cool LED lighting all around the bar. They do have some games (beer pong, darts etc) that add to the entertainment! “The food at the Denver Biscuit Company is absolutely amazing! We have the French toast biscuit with the strawberry compote and the shrimp and grits! Everything was well seasoned the biscuits were moist and light and filling. I’d definitely visit this place again if I come to Kansas City“

They were able to seat us n take are orders within a few minutes of entering their establishment, even though they had a pretty full restaurant.The waitress was very efficient and they brought are food out within about 10 or 15 minutes.
