Went on a first date here almost 28 years ago….loved the restaurant and atmosphere. Fell in love with the man that took me there and still with him to this day! ❤️
Service was friendly. Food was fast and tasty. Beer was cold and sudsy.
If you're looking for a serious sports bar you found it. This place is actually iconic and known as more of a museum. They have more Sports memorabilia than any other place in Kansas City especially for a bar. They were short-staffed so I understand the service wasn't great the food however was also not fantastic but the overall atmosphere more than makes up for it. Definitely a place you should check out

Chappell's Restaurant & Sports Museum is a fantastic establishment with a rich history, offering a fantastic selection of beers and delicious meals like the Super BLT with curly fries. The service is outstanding, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The daily specials are exceptional, and the sports-themed ambiance adds to the overall experience. While the parking situation can be challenging, the restaurant provides excellent food and service, making every visit memorable.
