“Burgers are good, onion rings were excellent. Last time we went, they were out of onion rings. This time, we called before we went and was told they had onion rings. Twenty minutes later as we were placing our order, we were told they just ran out of onion rings. We left. How do you run out of onion rings? It’s really simple. If you consistently run out, order more. We will not be going back.“

“Good golly these burgers and fries are delicious. Those burgers are like elevated diner classics. Very good flavor. The fries may...may...outshine the burgers. Crispy exterior, delicious fluffy interior. If they had an array of sauces like those pommes frites places, they could just be serving fries, they are that good. Did not disappoint. Will be back. Depending on which way the wind is blowing you might get some funky smells from the city market trash cans, and your drinks are behind you, not where you order your burgers. Who would ever think you could get drinks in the same place you get burgers?!? that's just wild!“

“In August 2021, Hamburger Mary's Kansas City reported that the establishment would require proof of COVID-19 vaccination. I assumed the requirement had been lifted; however, I wanted to be sure I was prepared (I am vaccinated; my friend is not). Not to mention, I work in an academic/healthcare setting where masks & vaccination status are a daily consideration, so it's something still on my mind. Therefore, I sent Hamburger Mary's a very quick question via Facebook. Attached is a photo of the response I received. My question was in no way impolite, so I'm not sure why the business felt the need to say anything other than no. I'm not easily offended, but I also don't appreciate being spoken to in such a snarky manner for what I considered a perfectly reasonable & respectful question. I was really looking forward to visiting (and donating to a worthy cause!), but I have decided to celebrate my birthday elsewhere.“

“Good food, the shakes are phenomenal honestly I never thought I'd taste an actual shake I'd like ever again till here. An old boss recommended this place, 4 stars because of the misleading products name. Ordered a chili cheese dog, got a sloppy joe looking burger with hotdog meat in it. Pizza burger is just a regular burger with pizza sauce like c'mon man... Probably will go back only for the shakes cuz y'all playin with the food.“

“All I can say is, “whoa”! I have to start with the fact that they had the BEST German Chocolate Cake I’ve ever tasted outside of Germany! Fluffy and the perfect level of sweetness!

“By far my favorite little lounge in KC. It’s just a short 5 minute walk from my apartment so the convenience is there. I love the retro aesthetic mixed with modern design, and when there’s a DJ it adds even more to the experience. My drinks are always great and the customer service is attentive and friendly. The little burger truck outside, Disco Burger, is sic a fun and amazing addition on those tipsy nights you’re craving a good burger. My friends and I LOVE Varisty Club, and our favorite bartender is Caleb. He’s always so nice and efficient with us. Such a vibe. I would give 10 stars if I could.“

“Probably my favorite fast food burger joint in Liberty and their custard is delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. I don't love the shoe string fries but I love their seasoning and fry sauce so I make due lol. Still highly recommend. Especially the brisket burger in the fall!“

“Had to get my car fixed at Firestone and found this place within walking distance, so glad I did! The sliders are amazing and you get a good amount of perfectly crispy fries! Food was finished super fast too but there was only one person working at a time when I came in so you might need to be a bit patient if its busy. The guy working there was quiet but very nice, the order pad had gotten turned off when I went so I was a bit confused on how to order at first but he came right out and fixed it right away when he noticed. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!!“

“My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a few years. We were seated after a bit of a wait. It is after all a Friday night in a shopping district. Our server was bright and cheery. She had a warming smile and happy persona. we placed our drink order. Shortly thereafter our food order was taken. I ordered a flat iron steak and a baker. My wife ordered soup and salad. Our dinner was served fairly quickly. Unfortunately my steak was quite a bit overcooked, so I requested one that wasn't over done. When the replacement steak was delivered, it was a bit overdone as well. I was hungry so I kept it. The manager came by to talk to us. I've spent time in a kitchen or two and I understand a dinner rush. The manager stopped at our table and wanted to assure us that this was not acceptable. She made things right, but wasn't needed or expected. I felt bad for our server because she probably feared she wasn't going to get tipped for a fairly big check. She was pretty wrong. I tipped correctly and arguably better than normal. Our return visit ended up being a great experience. We met a couple of wonderful human beings. Had some pretty good food. And, of course, my wife and I got to connect.“

“The food was great but I wouldn’t come here on an evening of you want good service. My husband and I did a tasting tour near by and wanted something to eat before we headed back to the Air BnB. Immediately you could tell how the experience was going to be when we didn’t order drinks right away and didn’t see our server again for about 15 minutes. She was very obviously more interested in paying more attention to customers that ordered drinks right away. She didn’t give her name otherwise I would I mention here. We only got one water and she didn’t come back to us again. We went to go to the hostess to try to pay our bill, ended up stopping her as she was leaving the bar. I give 2 stars out of 5. That’s only because the food was really good. I don’t think I would come back here. Maybe during the day would be better but I don’t know if I’d come here again anyway.“

“I was in KC for the weekend and if I'm in a city with a Whataburger, I'm going! I was traveling back home so I just got my food to go. I didn't get a cinnamon roll or shake this time but normally I do because they are so delicious.

The portions are typically large with the burger being big as hell. What I love is the burger and bun match in size.

I didn't get any pictures because I got it to eat later, which I did. Because nothing beats eating Whataburger at home, especially when you live in a state that does not have one.

If you have yet to try this fast food joint, I highly recommend it!“

“I don't know why I keep forgetting to go here. I endeavor to be better! Their double big burger with cheese is just awesome. Juicy, flavorful and HUGE! Just love the French fries too... crispy and soft inside. Had the blackberry and vanilla ice cream cone for dessert. What a refreshing new flavor for soft serve. Service was spot on and friendly. I promise I won't forget about you again.“

“This is my second time ordering and I will be doing so again. I’m from the south and I have been trying to find food similar and I have found it. The 6 piece chicken meal was nice and hot. The loaded fries were just as good. Chili that actually taste like chili. Cooked to order so if time is of essence, order ahead on the app.“

“The food was great. But it was over 100 degrees inside of that restaurant. My food order was $23. And they charged me an extra $4 because I used a credit card. $27. That credit card fee seems a little high.. I ordered the butter chicken, which was very good, but it did not come with rice or naan. That is extra $.“

“SMAXX is the place to be! Especially on Wednesday’s for $1 whole wings. My husband has tried many other food items and likes it! 🔥phillies and burgers too! I don’t go at night so I can’t speak to that, but during the day, the music is always jammin’ with R&B hits. If you haven’t tried it, you should.“

“I live, love Burger King. I eat here all the time when I can of course they shut down the one where I live so obviously I can't go to that one. The only thing I would fix and it goes for actually all drive-thru and sit down restaurant. Just to make it easier for customers who drive far from home or ones that are on there way home. Just that you put on your hours when the inside closes. My son was sad that he couldn't sit inside from a long ride. It was hard explaining to him that you guys have to close the inside an hour early to clean it. But live the place otherwise.“
