Known for their wings and late night kitchen, Helen's is one of the few late night spots in KC where you can get food at the end of a fun night on the town.FOODI had the All-American Burger ?. It was quite tasty and I definitely recommend it. My friend had the wings and said they were delicious as well. We didn't try the pizza but that will definitely be my pick if I end up back there.SERVICEOur food came out quickly and our server seemed cool/nice. They made sure to ask if we wanted another drink as soon as we polished off the last. No complaints there!ATMOSPHEREAppropriately named (Just Another Dive), the atmosphere at Helen's was that of a generic dive. The music wasn't for me tbh. It was mostly classic rock tunes i hadn't heard in years (and wouldn't have minded keeping it that way) mixed with modern country which just ain't my vibe, but also, it's Kansas City so what do you expect? This definitely isn't like one of the more artsy, hipster, service industry dives in Chez's, Hillsiders, or even Easy Inn but those dives are few and far between in KC anyway. There was lots of sports stuff and generic beer marketing posters everywhere which felt pretty bland. I will say the patio was really nice though and a good patio is always important.Overall, I'd swing by again for a late night slice of pizza and a quick drink at the end of the night. The food was delicious, drinks were alright, service was good, and people were nice enough, atmosphere wasn't for me really. I'd go back for the food, food service, and the patio!“
“Food was your typical bar food. Our server was awesome! On top of drinks and orders. My dad ordered the honey bbq chicken Mac and it was very spicy when it arrived. Then they brought him Buffalo Chicken Mac back thinking he ordered the wrong thing. Finally fixed it with no sauce on the chicken. Not sure where communication broke down there. Good place for family to meet as there were lots of different options.“

The food was great, the service a little less than great (feel our waitress was new) because she kept forgetting things (as in dinner ware) and our 'to go' box ?Parking: Plenty of parking, handicap parking and order pickup. “This review is an example of exactly why you don't write a bad review first time around. This particular Burger King is a Hallmark to the brand. Staff is smart and friendly and do a super job. Our fries are always hot and crispy and our Whoppers loaded. Yesterday was an off day. They had a line of cars out of the drive thru, the poor lady at the window looked frazzled, and I go home and realized a chunk of my order was missing. I called and spoke to the manager who was Shawna (sp?). She offered to replace the missing items the next day. I was just there and she was very professional and friendly. Food was just what my girls had wanted.This review is proof that even your favorite places can have a bad day. Give them a second chance and you will be greatly surprised usually I want to give a HUGE thank you and props to Shawna for exemplary customer service. It was truly appreciated.“
“Been craving icecream and a brownie for a while. Finally caved in spent some money and boy was I happy. It hit the spot. The oreo brownie icecream was wonderful.Side note DQ has some of the best chicken strips too. Make sure you add some gravy because thats the best combo.Not only that the flamethrower burger is phenomenal too. As far as I can tell their entire menu is fire.“
“Its McDonalds. If you're really looking for reviews on one of the biggest and longest lasting fast food restaurants, I question your judgment. I've actually never been inside this location, only driven through. But service is always fast and accurate. Food is... exactly what you'd expect.“
