“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.”

“First time having Pizza Tascio. Picked up a pepperoni for the Chiefs game. It was amazing! good char on the crust, crispy bottom, and the sauce was really good. Also the price was fantastic. Spent $23 for an 18" pie that fed 5 adults. Well worth the drive from Zona to NKC. My new favorite pizza joint.”

“Tried Tay’s Cheesesteaks today. It was great! Bread from Philly. Steak, onions, mushrooms. Had the regular but next time will try the one with Cheez Whiz. This definitely compares with cheesesteaks at Grinder’s. Give Tay’s a try!”

“I was here for a wedding reception tonight, and I just have to shout out the bartender who kept taking care of me.Every time I walked up to the bar, he immediately noticed, came over, and knew exactly what I wanted by the third drink‘Buffalo Trace on ice.’ His pours were perfect, and his service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely appreciated. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I notice when someone takes pride in what they do, and he absolutely did. It made the night feel personal and fun. Whoever he is—he deserves recognition. He did a great pour, and I truly appreciated him. As a photographer here in Kansas City, I love connecting with other professionals who take pride in their work. “My wife and I had never tried kombucha before. I had a hard one ( with alcohol ) and my wife had a regular one. Both of them were delicious. If you have never tried it I would highly recommend that you do.I normally go to craft breweries and drink just beer but i will definitely come back here again.”

“Michael at Melt Box was great, and made it really easy for us. He sent pictures of their cups and spoons at my request, and everything was extremely aesthetic. Their fun flavors were a hit as well! He made sure to save some scoops of our favorite flavors for us so they didn’t run out. I’d absolutely recommend Melt Box for a fun way to do dessert at your wedding!”

“Easily my favorite weekend hang in NKC. The Commons space attached to Cinder Block gives you so much room to actually sit down and relax without feeling packed in. We brought our dog, grabbed a table near the back, and ended up hanging out for hours playing board games.

Beer is always spot on—you can't go wrong with the French Valley IPA, and their seasonal ciders are always surprisingly good. The bartenders are super chill and happy to let you sample before ordering a pint. Plus, they usually have a great food truck parked out front on the weekends. Just an overall awesome neighborhood vibe.”

“Dude for a place called just another dive bar, I dont think I have had better food from dedicated restaurants, the service is impeccable, every night I've gone no matter the person working. You may wait a bit if you order a burger but my god is it worth it. I've been back twice this week for my first and second visit and between the burger, chicken parm sandwich and wings you cant go wrong. (But the breakfast burger is objectively the best option even with the wait.) The drinks are great but for a place that is more bar than restaurant somehow the drinks pale in comparison to the amazing food. 10/10 will be going a few more times before I leave.”

“I have been here several times and all the treats are so delicious. I am dairy free and gluten free for my health, which makes finding a safe dessert difficult. Im so thankful to have found Sweet Emotion! I recently purchased the espresso brown sugar gluten free cookie and the gluten free cosmic brownie. They were both incredible, soft, full of flavor, and most importantly safe foods! We purchased the chocolate ice cream with caramel and it was so tasty, soft, creamy, and full of flavor. It has been hard to find a dairy free option that was this creamy!”

“I was lucky enough to host my company Christmas party in the popup holiday bar this year. I CANNOT say enough great things about the venue, food, drinks and staff! Everything was incredible and such a great value! The staff was on point. From the beginning Alexa, the event coordinator, and Adam, the general manager, made the whole process so seamless and amazing. We barely lifted a finger and all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful and fun everything was! We will 100% be having our Christmas party here every year from now on.
