Spent $23 for an 18" pie that fed 5 adults. Well worth the drive from Zona to NKC. My new favorite pizza joint.”

“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.”

“We eat here when in the neighborhood. Everything I've eaten here has been excellent and reasonably priced. Speed of service depends on how crowded the place is but it's never been too slow. Quality of service is always very good. Never had a misunderstanding or mistake. When ordering beef it's always cooked my way.”

“I was here for a wedding reception tonight, and I just have to shout out the bartender who kept taking care of me.Every time I walked up to the bar, he immediately noticed, came over, and knew exactly what I wanted by the third drink‘Buffalo Trace on ice.’ His pours were perfect, and his service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely appreciated. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I notice when someone takes pride in what they do, and he absolutely did. It made the night feel personal and fun. Whoever he is—he deserves recognition. He did a great pour, and I truly appreciated him. “Michael at Melt Box was great, and made it really easy for us. He sent pictures of their cups and spoons at my request, and everything was extremely aesthetic. Their fun flavors were a hit as well! He made sure to save some scoops of our favorite flavors for us so they didn’t run out. I’d absolutely recommend Melt Box for a fun way to do dessert at your wedding!”

“I have been here several times and all the treats are so delicious. I am dairy free and gluten free for my health, which makes finding a safe dessert difficult. Im so thankful to have found Sweet Emotion! I recently purchased the espresso brown sugar gluten free cookie and the gluten free cosmic brownie. They were both incredible, soft, full of flavor, and most importantly safe foods! We purchased the chocolate ice cream with caramel and it was so tasty, soft, creamy, and full of flavor. It has been hard to find a dairy free option that was this creamy!”

“I was lucky enough to host my company Christmas party in the popup holiday bar this year. I CANNOT say enough great things about the venue, food, drinks and staff! Everything was incredible and such a great value! The staff was on point. From the beginning Alexa, the event coordinator, and Adam, the general manager, made the whole process so seamless and amazing. We barely lifted a finger and all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful and fun everything was! We will 100% be having our Christmas party here every year from now on. “Tried for the 1st time since they opened. Huge open space with a nicely designed and very large bar as the centerpiece of the restaurant. Plenty of TVs for viewing games, with table and booth seating throughout.
Ordered the Beef Birria Grilled Cheese and the Reuben. The beef Birria was a pretty good sandwich. The consomme it came with for dipping complimented the sandwich nicely. Thought there might have been too many jalapeños on the sandwich, as it kind of overpowered the taste of the beef and cheese, but a unique spin on turning birria tacos into a sandwich nonetheless.
The reuben was lights out great! Our server Lacey highly recommended it, and she wasn't wrong. Eaten a lot of Reubens, and it is one of the best I've had in KC. Both sandwiches were accompanied with pub fries, which were very solid.
Overall a very good experience. The space was nice, food was above expectation, and Lacey provided great service. Won't hesitate to try again when I am at Harrah's.”
