I like my wings crispy, and most places don’t make them crispy enough for me even when I ask (no shade, it is what it is). But they always deliver for me at Helen’s! “We were passing by Kansas City on our way back home from Sioux Falls to Mississippi. The menu caught my eye for its unique offerings and fair prices. Service was top knotch and food was sooo good. There’s lots of options around, but don’t sleep on this place. And get the fried pickles!“

“If you are a biker, stay away. The owner tells the help not to serve you. Turned about 50 of us away so we went to twin peaks. Greeted w open arms. This isn't the first time we've tried going there on the bikes both times we were asked to not be served, loudly across the bar“

“When I visit family in Sugar Creek, I enjoy grabbing a bite at the Kross lounge. There are not many places anymore that have a relaxed atmosphere and employees that remember me and treat me like a friend. “Lucky Boys is a classic bar & lounge in the West Bottoms of Kansas City that offers great bar drinks and excellent bar food items. Some of their food options include pizza, poutine fries, burgers, phillys & more.
Thursday night is pizza night at Lucky Boys. We ordered a vodka sauce pizza with cheese, pepperoni, jalapeños, mushrooms, and arugula…YUM! If you go on a night that poutine is on the menu…do NOT miss out because they serve the best poutine fries I’ve ever had! There is a even a pool table here if you enjoy playing pool.
I highly recommend checking out Lucky Boys while exploring in the KC West Bottoms.“

“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“What a fantastic place. Tv's everywhere. Comfy booths to sit in. Service was fantastic. I tried the Barbq Burger and sweet potatoes fries. The fries came with a marshmallow sauce. The Burger was delicious and huge. My wife had a grilled chicken wrap and onion rings. She loved it. She also had two margaritas. She said the drinks were fantastic. I loved the cups they brought the water in. Kept everything ice cold. The only con would maybe be the parking. I could see it being a little tight on a busy time. Can't wait to come back.“

“Marky Mark IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Aside from him watching over the ladies of the bar but also his ability to make outsiders feel welcome. We left and came back after wandering around because he made such an amazing impression. I am extremely grateful for them having/carrying non alcoholic beers. “it was not the great experience I thought it would be, but for anyone on. a budget this palace serves enough per plate to feed an army. I am at KUMed, so taste buds are way off but everything seemed so salty. they also had no recall of my soda which I ordered online because it red soda. when my son came back with diet whatever I almost flipped him over. Maybe that's the swelling of the brain???🤔🤔🤔 regardless, my favorite husband has had a black and blue burger several times and he loves them. I get the feeling it's a dine- in kind of place.“

“Good place in brookside, portion size was a little small and the quality wasn't as good as we hoped. The fried chicken was sparse on flavor. The green beans very al dente. The Reuben was good with true pastrami and not prepackage like you get elsewhere but the fries were very bland. Service was a bit slow.“

“Had the cheese fries and they were awesome! Cheese sauce was flavorful (not the same old cheese sauce that others use). The fries stayed crunchy even with the sauce over them. Also had a bacon/cheeseburger that was very flavorful. And of course the giant hot wings. Their homemade blue cheese dipping sauce was very good, not overpowering. Great service even though it got crowded. I Highly recommend!“

“This place has a wonderful atmosphere and the crew that works there they're all amazing. They haveShuffle board,darts,and a couple more games to keep ya occupied. The outside patio is beautiful as well as their smoking section. The serving sizes are filling to say the least. The place of this is right in the middle of wonderful Brookside!! Great place to soak up the st Patty's day parade they have every year. Not to mention the food , it's amazing no matter what you get and they serve food until 2 am!!!“

“Our server Andrew was the absolute best!! He made our group of 12 feel right at home and was very attentive to our needs. He was also more than happy to take our group photos (10/10 photographer). The $14 bottomless mimosas is a great deal and the food was *chefs kiss* - will be returning any and every time I want to brunch!“

“Decided to try Christine's today. I'm so glad we did. Chiefs were playing and had just gotten a touchdown as we walked in the door. The house interrupted into cheers and claps. I couldn't resist to bow & wave while thanking everyone for the grand welcome. They all laughed and greeted us with welcoming comments. So much fun. The atmosphere is amazing! I'm sure the game had a role in that, but I loved it. Kevin, our server was excellent. So friendly, attentive, helpful... just wonderful. It was our 36th anniversary and just wanted to find a place with good Bloody Mary's & food. We weren't disappointed. Hubby had a GIGANTIC tenderloin & said it was great. I loved the fried cauliflower and the great BBQ pulled pork sammich. It's a small homey place but those are the best kind of places in my opinion. Also we love that it is fire service related. My husband is a 26 yr firefighter, Captain.“
