“So this was a handy location for the four of us to get lunch. It's a nice pub with good parking and location. We were there close to lunch so were hoping to get a seat. Place was not busy at all... A little worrisome but place was friendly and service was good. Typical bar selections... Some with Aussie names. The burger was good. The chicken salad was good... And our modifications were all followed. The fish and chips were crispy with a good flavor and my wife was thrilled it wasn't beer batter. I had the pork tenderloin which was prepped just like my wife prefers them... Thin and juicy. My onion rings were also crunchy and hot. I was surprised by the lack of an Aussie beer. But I like Blue Moon and it's ok without an orange. Prices were reasonable. This is close to my brother-in-law's house and would make a great place to gather. If it was close to my house it'd been on regular rotation as we were well satisfied.“

“Fun Bar & Grill. We came for the 1/2 price appetizer, happy hour special, and we were not disappointed. Ordered the fried mushrooms and fried pickle spears. Both were cooked perfectly, hot out of the fryer, and delicious. The sauces are also really good, truffle aoli and buttermilk ranch. The best part, though, was the very large mushrooms. “We had our wedding and celebration at The Summit Grill in Lee’s Summit last night. WOW!!! I cannot give this place and their employees enough kudos. Shana, the event coordinator was exceptional and very responsive. The food was so good….everyone raved about how much they loved it. We did an appetizer buffet and chose a veggie tray, spin dip, chicken wings, chicken sliders, cheeseburger sliders and steak street tacos. The two dedicated bartenders we had were the very best! We had the back bar and outdoor area with a fire pit. It was above and beyond what we expected. I give this place the highest recommendation for any event. Also, their happy hour can’t be beat! After driving around OP, then Olathe, for nearly 2 hours, trying to find a place to SIT and eat, we begged the manager at Vader’s to help us out. (By me, I mean myself, my wife, and our 3 year old, one year old, and 4 week old). The 4 week old was ready to nurse and my wife really needed a place to sit… it had been a day for us.I sincerely wish to apologize to the party who was disturbed by us. We thought they may understand our need and consider giving us the courtesy. Had they stayed around, I would have gladly payed their bill in exchange for their kindness. However, they left so abruptly that I wasn’t even given the chance to offer that accommodation.EDIT: There were plenty of high top tables and bar seats available, but only one large table to accommodate a family. This party of 2 was asked if they would consider moving from the large table to a smaller table, but not asked to leave.Perhaps I am old fashioned, but I am appalled of the knee-jerk reaction of this customer to leave without tipping, and then make libelous claims about the encounter on Google. “There are several locations of The Bar all over the local KC area and I finally got a chance to see why there are multiple locations. I went for a work lunch in the Country Club Plaza area and it was not busy based on the number of customers. However, I saw our waiter served us and worked behind the bar so he was constantly table touching while keeping us taken care of. All five of us ordered burgers/ sandwich from the 2 Classic Pub Burger, Classic Club, Impossible Burger, and a Bacon Jam Burger and everyone finished their burgers and sides without an issue and complaints. I would recommend as a extreme causal burger joint that's reasonably priced with no extra pizzazz.“

“So after visiting our best friend at the ku med center we stopped at tanners. The atmosphere is full on sports bar and large and open. Of course hubby and make a beeline to the bar. Both of us ordered a beer which arrived in a frosty glass ? and quickly (we were parched!). The menu has lots of options (see photo). I'm in the mood for a burger and of course, I'm going to try the onion rings! Hubby has the potato skins. Our bartender and server, Natalia, is attentive without hovering and friendly. Her timing is spot on. Our food arrives piping hot (that's must for me). My burger is cooked medium rare-perfect! The onion rings are not as crispy as freestates but definitely worth it. The burger is so tender it's literally falling apart. The bun is a kaiser like roll and very soft, like fresh baked. If you want extras (cheese, mushroom, etc) it'll cost you. I like bare burgers and this one delivered. Very moist and delicious. Hubby's potato skins were just the right amount of ingredients. The potato itself was perfectly bakes-not mushy and not chewy. Green onions, sour cream, cheese and bacon were all in sync with one another. I actually snagged a bite (or 20) and may have swayed back and forth in ecstacy. Really really good. The bathroom was SPOTLESS and the stalls have full size doors that completely enclose the stall! ❤️This place is 1 hour away but we both agreed it's worth the drive, especially if Natalia is working and the chef is the same! “Went for a simple dinner and drinks with friends. There was a decent dinner rush we came in towards the end of on a Saturday evening at 730 but no wait. We enjoyed the tatchos and pretzel sticks with a few drinks before ordering burgers and the salmon blt. Food was good but we really liked the appitizers. Our server was still training but on her own and she was friendly and helpful and did a great job. They are open until 10 on sat but we were the last people there and left at 9pm. The vibe was good with others there and no one was rushing us but it felt odd to be so empty at 9pm. We will go back because we liked the food and service, but may go a bit earlier next time.“

“We went on a Friday night around 6pm so it was not too crowded. It was nice to see all the kids having a good time playing the mini golf course, but I wanted to play too. We got to the table, which a sign at the door told us to seat ourselves, and grabbed a menu. The food listings had me drooling from the descriptions, I didn't need pictures. The prices were very affordable. I liked the fact that we could order from our phones and start a tab without waiting for someone to take our order. I ordered the Philly Tots, which the menu warns that it's enough for 2 or more but I didn't listen. It comes with grilled onions and bell peppers, banana peppers, cheese steak sliced beef, and cheese sauce on the side. It was really delicious and fresh. My friend had the Be The BBQ which is a BBQ chicken wrap with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion. He liked it, but it wasn't as spectacular as the Philly Tots. After we finished eating, we played a round of golf, which was my friend's first time. It was only $10 per person. We both had a blast even though we sucked at it, and we couldn't help but laugh at ourselves.“

I'm not a regular there but had no issues getting service and felt welcomed in by others around me.
