We held our company celebration at Jake’s place last night and they did such a great job! The space was perfect for our group of around 70 people with room to spare and the game room with pool tables was a real hit. Jake's Place is a hidden gem in Shawnee, located at Neiman and Johnson. The staff, including Janine, Chris, and Amber, are friendly and welcoming. Known for their delicious appetizers, unique traditional eggrolls are a must-try. The atmosphere is perfect for after-work hangouts, with fast service, cheap drinks, and fun activities like darts, pool, and poker night. The place features a game room, summer activities like corn hole, and a refrigerator to keep beer glasses cold. Customers enjoy the good hometown vibe, friendly people, and a lively atmosphere. With fantastic prices and special desserts on Friday nights, it's no wonder customers keep coming back for over a decade to enjoy the good food and great conversation at Jake's Place. The restaurant also serves a notable open face roast beef on Fridays, along with other meals like Buffalo wings and Ruben Sandwiches, which are highly recommended.
