“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.”

“Welcomed when I walked in. Sat at the bar. Nicole B immediately greeted me and then brought water. A few moments to loom at the beer selection and she asked if I had decided. Yep! I asked for a minute to look at the menu. No longer than I set it down BOOM Nicole was on it asking what I was invested in. Food was excellent (salmon salad) service”

“Friends took me out for my 91st birthday and I requested Paulo's. Been there many times for 45 years. Always order chicken Piccata. Had garlic bread which was excellent. My order came and There was about a full cup of mashed potatoes with a small chicken breast on it. About 2". Chicken was not very tender and I ate the lunch in about 5 bites. Cost $16. no veggies or salad. Gentleman came over and asked how everything was and I told him . Portion was so small. He was very nice and took my lunch price off the bill. I will be back one more time because I really always liked it there. Also had lunch at 2:30 and no one else there but 3 people at the bar. I hope there is some improvement in the portions of some memu items in the future.”

“This is one of those coffee shops you wish existed but didn’t know they did. You get your coffee and can wander through their plants or go sit in the middle of the greenhouse on a soft couch and talk with friends. 3 of us had infants and the atmosphere was so nice for the babies as well, quiet and easy to take care of them as we hung out. I definitely am coming back as soon as I have a chance! Their vanilla caramel latte was delicious and their cinnamon roll was a hit as well! If you’re in KC, you need to stop in here.”

“It is my favorite coffee place of all time. The bakery is so amazing! I could eat the egg salad beagles everyday they are that good. Staff is always amazing! If you want to try a new mix in your coffee as them they are more then happy to give recommendations. By youngest says they have the best blue raspberry lemonade ever! A long with their Chocolate Chip Muffins and Cinnamon Rolls. Highly recommend going there and supporting this small business.”

“I stopped in here after visiting with a friend. I’m so glad I stopped in. To drink, I got the Royal Lemonade—well balanced. For food, I got the mozzarella sticks and ginger burger (I was super hungry, but had to take home some of my burger). To be honest, the burger is not something I would normally order, but it was recommended and I’m glad I went for it. I would definitely eat it again. The atmosphere here is nice. It’s clean and comfortable. The regulars here are nice and the staff is friendly. You never know when you walk into a bar “that’s not yours” how you’ll be treated. I told my partner that if we lived down here that I could see us coming here often. You should give them a try.”

We were impressed! All 14 orders were correct, served hot and fresh, and so good!! Great size portions! The service was absolutely great! Refills were quick. The atmosphere is so fun! We all enjoyed our food arriving by train. The kids had a great time. and only 2 little ones had a nugget and few fries left. Everyone devoured their food. It's definitely a must experience! “We had such a great experience at the LS Pegah’s tonight. Our kids were tired from homecoming festivities and whiny, making them harder to maintain. Our waitress and the entire staff were nothing but amazing to us coming over talking to the kids and making sure we had everything we needed. There was a slight mishap with our one of our dishes and our server (Emma I think) felt so bad and went above and beyond to make it right. We will definitely be back- our food was amazing!!”

“I stopped by Kolache Factory through Too Good To Go, so my experience wasn’t really the traditional “walk in and order” kind of visit. They were getting close to closing, but the staff was kind, the shop was clean, and they were totally cool with letting me hang out and eat even though they were winding things down. That goes a long way with me.

I ended up with a little bit of everything: bacon, egg & cheese, Ranchero, pepperoni pizza, chicken Florentine, cream cheese, and a cinnamon roll.

The chicken Florentine was my favorite. It tasted like the best kind of spinach dip—the kind that shows up at a party and suddenly you’re hovering over the bowl with a piece of bread in your hand, quietly hoping nobody else notices how much you’ve eaten. Creamy, savory, cheesy, with that spinach flavor coming through. It’s the kind of thing I’d happily keep to myself.

The pepperoni was LOADED. Super greasy, cheesy, messy in exactly the right way. I loved it.

The Ranchero had a good amount of spice without taking over, and the bacon, egg & cheese was exactly what it should be: a classic, familiar breakfast combination that just works.

And the pastries were spot on. The cinnamon roll reminded me of Cinnabon, which I mean as a compliment. Soft, sweet, gooey, and completely capable of making me forget I was supposed to be eating breakfast.

The whole place actually gave me airport terminal vibes. You know when you get to the airport ridiculously early, find your gate, and immediately decide, “Yep, this is where I live for the next hour and a half”? That was me. I found a spot, sat down, and settled in.

There’s a pretty big selection, too, with coffee drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffee and cold brew available to go with everything.

That’s probably what I like most about Kolache Factory: there’s a little something for everyone. Sweet, savory, breakfast, coffee. You can walk in with a group of people who all want something completely different and everyone can find something.

When I have guests in town, this feels like an easy morning stop that can please the whole crowd without making breakfast complicated.”

“This place has had a poor reputation in the past. But now, after a year and a half under the new manager, the service and atmosphere have both greatly improved. Can still be kind of loud and a bit crowded at times, but a great place to grab a drink, some food, and play pool & darts.”

“We ate there Saturday afternoon and they weren't overly busy. Two of us got the shrimp platter with fries and onion rings. Unfortunately, the shrimp and hush puppies were burnt. They were so overcooked they weren't moist at all, dry as can be. The waitress forgot to bring the malt vinegar for our friends fish platter. Then she ordered a mule beer and the waitress never did return with that either. Food used to be great. Hopefully this was just a bad day. We'll give them another chance.”

The burgers were made as ordered but the beef itself stole the show. I don't know what was different but whatever it is keep doing it. I was a tad surprised on the fries. Usually a regular is enough to share but this portion was really small. It could be because it is a newer location or portion control. The lobby and bathrooms were clean. We ate outside and enjoyed the cooler weather. Umbrella was open and tables clean. The stsff was friendly and courteous.”
