“I ordered Hunan Beef, shrimp fried rice and crab ragoon for my first visit. It was so good I went back to the same day to try general tso chicken, egg roll, hot and sour and egg drop soup. The young lady at the register was so nice, good was freshly prepared and all dishes were amazing. I will be making extra trips here in the future.“

You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. “This is, hands down, the best Chinese food you can get. I grew up in Bonner Springs, but moved to Colorado twenty years ago and nothing in Colorado even remotely comes close. I try to stop in when I visit home, and I always try to bring friends with me when I visit!“

“So I came in with my partner and their parents. We ended up with an incredible spread of food for all of us! My mother in law needs high protein, my father in law doesn’t like extreme spice, and I am gluten free and I just got out my wisdom teeth out recently so I can’t do heavy spice and warm temperatured food. I also need my food to be easy to chew with that.

I ended up with the gluten free egg drop soup, and then Min came over and talked about how they could modify a menu item from their authentic Chinese menu. I then received a menu item so good I’m jealous that I didn’t cook it. It was silken tofu with some sort of soft pork, I believe it was pork belly. It was gluten free, and savory and full of not spicy flavor. I will be getting this every time hands down.

My family got the general tso’s, orange chicken, and Mongolian shrimp and scallops, as well as pan fried dumplings. They loved their meals as well.

Moral of the story- I have come here a lot and it only gets better each time!“

“My husband and I got take out from here for the first time Sunday night and I'm torn between keeping it a secret and shouting how good this place is from the rooftops! Honorable mention to the Egg Drop Soup, the Chicken Teriyaki (chicken stick app), and the Chicken and Shrimp Hunan Style Entree. We loved everything we ordered! The gyoza sauce was also absolutely incredible. If you haven't given this place a try you are missing out!!“

“I have visited Lucky Wok twice since my first review...once for take-out and once for dine in. The food has been delicious every time, still 5 stars. The service is still poor. Don't get me wrong, the employees are super nice and try, but the overall service is poor and without flow. Both times that we have dined in our orders have came out separately. One person's meal is brought out and the next person's dish comes out 5-10 minutes later. I find it rude to eat when others are still waiting to receive their food but I also do not like to eat cold food because I waited. This really needs to be addressed by management.

I would still recommend the food, but maybe take-out is the preferred method?“

“The Mongolian beef is amazing the onions are perfectly caramelized(there is a lot of onions so if not your thing maybe don’t get it) the beef is flavorful, juicy and tender. I got the food I a decent time ≈10min. Personally I didn’t really like the egg roll but I’m satisfied“

“My family and myself frequently order from China Dragon. We very much enjoy the food and dishes that they offer. My personal favorite is the Wonton Soup paired with steamed or fried dumplings and an order of Crab Rangoons. I would also like to mention the swiftness of the restaurant, they have always had our orders out very quickly and the staff is very friendly.

“My family has eaten here for 20 years. We started when my daughter was less than a year old. There are still a couple of servers there that greet us and remember our kids. They always ask about them if they’re not with us. The food has always been the best Buffet we have found. Always full and love the flavors and variety. We’ve tried other places and nothing compares for the price. Very reasonable and trying to feed a family while eating out.“

“Always enjoy Panda, but it still bothers me that they don't either cut the vegetables & teriyaki chicken smaller or at least have knives avail. Also wish their Rangoon actually had crab or even imitation crab in it instead of just cream cheese.“

“My wife and I found this place back in 2011, when we lived a few blocks away... but still drive across town to enjoy their food. Some of the best Chinese we've had in KC in this price range. Atmosphere is only a half-notch above your typical strip mall fare, but service is always great, and the food is consistently good.

UPDATE: We stopped by last week after a long time (we live on the other side of town)... food is still excellent. Talked to the owner for a bit, and it's obvious she and her husband are working very hard to take care of their customers.“

“I had the BEST vegan meal I have ever eaten in Kanas City at Bo Lings, Lenexa, last night.
Rebecca Clark is part of the family who owns BoLings, and she is vegan! Vegan Rangoons! Crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside tofu! Vegan General Tsos Tofu with the best ginger brown sauce. OMG!!!! When I get rice dishes out I usually receive 2 to 1 rice to tofu, leaving me with a lot of leftover, plain white rice. I really appreciated that my dish at Bo Lings-- on second serving -- had an equal amount of tofu as the first serving.
They have a lovely, quite dining room with booths, and are open on Sunday!

“I took a chance on the Lucky Garden for catering a party for 80+ in DeSoto, and I am glad that I did! Charles, the manager, was a delight to work with. He gave solid opinions and did a good job estimating our food needs for a group that size. The food was HOT and tasty! The Teriyaki Chicken and Crab Rangoon were delicious! The General Tso's Chicken and Lo Mein were also a hit. The Lucky Garden met also our needs for gluten-free meals (Chicken & Veg and Singapore Rice Noodles), which was a big plus. Charles worked back and forth with me to make sure that we had enough food and that we were within my budget. When my manager requested an item we hadn't considered, he went back and reworked his estimate to make sure we could make it work. We compromised on delivery, and I picked up the meal, but he did a great job estimating what it would take to get the food delivered (two vans) and brought out all 24 pans of food himself. Charles, also followed up to make sure that event went well, which was a nice extra touch. I would be happy to work with him and the Lucky Garden again, given the opportunity.“
