“I highly recommend this place! The food is all fresh and very flavorful. You can tell they keep the place clean and portions are perfect! The portions are pretty typical could get two meals from the dishes my wife and I got. I got the general Tso chicken and my wife got the sweet and sour chicken.“
“I went to buy a to go meal. Which is the same amount as if you seat and eat in. I always like to ask for the soup bowl that comes with that because I like to put dessert in and don't mixed it with the other food. I noticed that two of the female employees started to followe me around. And my daughter asked for jellow as dessert to be on the soup bowl immediately one of of the lady's asked me to just put soup in the container. I told her I didn't want soup and I already paid for my meal so I can put whatever I want in my container then she said it would be an additional dollar charged for bo using the soup bowl just for soup. I said ok no problem. But my question are you so baother for the 3 cubes of jellow my daughter put in the container when is people that comes and seat in. And waist all types and amounts of food that they want to try and don't like it. And is not problem with that??? I though this was really petty. Food is not that great.“
“This place has the best Chinese food in the KC area!!!! My best friend got it recommended to here by her patient, and took me along with her. We tried every rangoon on their menu and each one is worth it. The chicken is also phenomenal and you can just taste the freshness of everything! And you can really tell it is all homemade. Definitely try it out if you have not done so. Me and my friend are definitely going to be repeat customers.“
“We had a fantastic experience at Lucky Dragon tonight! We are visiting from out of state and dined in with local friends. The staff are friendly and very attentive. All of our orders were correct and absolutely delicious! I loved the homey feel of the restaurant so much!“
“Ordered the combination lo mein, combination fried rice, orange chicken, crab rangoons, and a California roll add cream cheese. The lo mein and crab rangoons lacked flavor, and the combination fried rice was a tad bit salty. But the orange chicken was decent & the sushi roll was huge! It's worth a try.. but I'm not sure if I'd return due to the portions&flavors/prices.“
“So very delicious for a GREAT and clean Japanese style buffet. Like going to hibachi with the fire at your table but no fire at table but just as good. Very clean, friendly and nice. Please check these guys out. And their prices are almost overly fare. :)Parking: Good and safe areaKid-friendliness: My daughter loved it.“
“I made a big takeout order on New Year's Eve, and it was done within a few minutes of the time they said it would be. More importantly, the entire order was correct, and it was all delicious. Their pho is seriously the second best pho I've ever had. The Thai chicken wings are probably in my top three favorite chicken wings. Their crab rangoons are slightly enhanced than the typical.“
“We’ve only had takeout from here. The staff is always friendly and very organized and aware of orders. I have yet to have a meal I didn’t like and we have ordered at least five different times (lunch and dinner). They are quick and the food is always hot and fresh. I have not had the sushi yet but plan to for the next visit. The interior is a bit dated but that is. Common across many restaurants in KC. Great job Chopstix! Highly recommend!“
“Love the service and the food. Fantastic prices. They can also change dishes to suit your taste. Like a get Curry Shrimp not spicy no red pepper flakes. It's strictly drive thru only since covid. The only thing I don't like is they do not peel their r carrots.“
“Lovely gentleman named Nathan took me to this place as a first meeting. This man is my bsf's boyfriend so this was a big deal. Overall food was great and the experience was a vibe. Had good conversation and so far has my blessing. 10/10 would try again.“
“Visited Linwood Chinese Express for lunch today and ordered Pepper Beef. I'd hoped to order schezwan beef but they don't make that here. I ordered pepper beef instead. The total came to 13.26, for the entree, fried rice, and 1 crab rangoon. The place is drive-thru only and cash only; I waited approximately 10 min in the drive-thru from order to pick-up. Service was super friendly and the portion was huge-- as a light eater, I can easily get 3 meals out of this. Someone who eats more could get 2 meals. Compared with other local Chinese spots in Kansas City, I'd say you can expect a pretty decent experience here.“
“First visit to Red Wok for lunch. For $8.50 you get an entree with choice of meat, soup (wonton, eggdrop or hot and sour) and an appetizer (crab rangoon or eggroll). My order was straightforward-pork mei fun, crab rangoon and wonton soup but the booth next to me had young children and asked to modify some of the dishes for them. It was absolutely no problem! Service was quick and food was very fresh tasting. Definitely worth another visit or 3!“
“Great food every time we have ordered from here. During Christmas time they give you a sweet bag that says merry Christmas from new mandarin house, a wall calendar for 2024, and a magnet with the address on it. The food is always hot, fresh and the best Chinese food I've had in awhile. Always a pleasure.“
“More affordable than some other places that keep raising the prices. Foods good and within my budget for my family of five. The other places cost me $50 and up to feed them. That's just too much for the little we got so Peking express is my go to. Love it.“
“My family I absolutely love China Feast. I can go there and order chicken egg rolls anytime most Chinese restaurants have either pork or it mixed with pork and they don't... The owner and her family ROCK!Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian menu its small, but they have it is all that matters ?“
“I wish I could give it more than five stars! Very clean! All food was hot and cold respectively! So many different choices of food to choose from, it was just amazing!I believe I’ve found the Hidden Gem Kansas City. Staff was very friendly and did not rush you. Nice job Asian Buffet!!“
“Everything was perfect, from how easy it is to order online to the easy pickup, as well as price portion and especially the taste, best in town. So happy to have a new local favorite. 2nd time ordering from them and it's just as good as the 1st time. I tried all other similar places in the area, none come even close.“
“Food and service was amazing for what me and my wife got they were also willing to give her a different dish she forgot to tell them she didn't want vegetables with no arguing they were quick to change music was loud hard to hear over it and also the setting was niceParking: Getting a parking space is easy backing out and driving to the street is a little more difficult when parking lot is full“
“I’ve eaten here for 5 years and have never given a review- this food is amazing. I only order for pickup. My food is always fresh, hot, and very tasty. I love it here. One day I will do the buffett but I’m scared I won’t be able to drive home. I’d eat everything up.“
“Food is great! Service is mediocre at best, almost makes you not want to order from there. Never a friendly smile when picking up food, spent over $80 and the owner tried to charge me for extra sweet and sour sauce while giving me one small cup for 5 meals.“
“I placed a carryout order on 06/20/2023. This was our first time trying this restaurant. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the food! Our items were incredibly hot and fresh. The fountain drink was perfectly crispy everything was packaged well (no leakage). This was the best fried rice either of us have tried in the Northland. The staff were also kind and friendly when we were picking up our order. Please give them a try!“
“We used to order takeout Lemon Chicken from here 20 years ago in college and it was the best. Dined in when back in town today and that same Lemon Chicken is still the best. Very nice service too. We may have to drive an hour just to come get it again. It's also inexpensive and you get a ton of food.“
“Hands down the BEST Crab Rangoon you'll find anywhere!! Not bland at all!! And the fried rice is amazing! They actually give you extra broccoli if you ask! Sorry but everywhere else we've tried I've never received the extra broccoli when I ask! You won't regret ordering or eating in from here!“
“Hands down the best Chinese food in Kansas city. From appetizers to main meals, this is delicious quality food. Ben and Sue, the owners are amazingly nice people. They have watched me grow up and I'm happy they get to watch my child grow up when we come in.“
“This Place is a hidden Jewel, the food os always Hot and fresh and delicious. Quick service, easy in and out with plenty of seating. Nice People and weel priced. skip the line at Texas Roadhouse and eat here in a 1/3 of the time at half the price and get twice as full. So to review you get a great meal and a math lesson all in one, ya can't beat that“
“The food was amazing, better than most small Chinese places in the area. It had the best flavor and everything was hot. They had awesome Thai teas too! Our server was very nice and fun. He took excellent care of us. The atmosphere was bright and pleasant. The only downside was the area smelt a bit Smokey but other than that this place is great!“
“Don't let the exterior of this restaurant fool you. On the inside it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!! The food is very good. Reasonably priced and the portions are large. Definitely a great place to try. We will be back again and again! Highly recommend sesame chicken and the walnut shrimp!!!Parking: This is in the parking lot of the old Kmart store. Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Double door entrance“
“Many of the dishes meet my standard, but not all. The beef dish could have been a little more tender (4 star) and other dishes I ordered were great (5 star). The indoor atmosphere needs appropriate background asian music (light in volume) for that restaurant while waiting to pick up food. Lady picture on wall real good choice, could use one or two more orient type pictures too. Get rid of piano, and anthing that takes away from a nice orient atmosphere to sit down an eat, if you chose. They did a recent remodel which was a 75% improvement, could do a little more.Dietary restrictions: Many dairy free (milk or cheese free options).Parking: Strip mall parking, depending on time, you usually have pretty close parking.“
“I have tried and regularly eat many choices from this amazing establishments, if I could give 10 stars I would. Great food, attitude, and cook times, and located in a great spot.Wheelchair accessibility: It is right next and has many handicapp parking spots“
“The place was fast, like really fast. The portion sizes are big enough for two to three people. The folks running the place are super nice as well. Food was good but not very unique, like good but nothing that I would say stood out. None the less, if you are looking for good food that will feed you for two days look no further.“
“We have been looking for an excellent Chinese joint in the Northland for quite some time as we usually always get Bo Lings but honestly it's way over priced for the quality that you get these days there so today we decided to try China Dragon and oh my gosh it is incredible. We got the meh fun noodles and several other classic things like sesame chicken and the teriyaki pot sticks, and it truly tasted incredible, particularly the noodles which were like a spicy Asian blend. We usually go for the traditional lo mein, but wanted to step outside of our comfort zone with the noodles and are so glad we did. If you're looking for a Chinese place in the Northland, that doesn't taste disgusting and is reasonably priced this will knock it out of the park for you. Our baseline has been Bo Lings and this honestly tasted way better than what we get there these days.“
“I've been ordering from this restaurant for years and years. I was out of their delivery zone for awhile but was so excited to come back about a year and a half ago.But these PEOPLE who work here? Omg they're the best. We order once or twice a month and we always get a few orders of crab rangoon(they literally have the best crab rangoon I've ever tried), some lo mein, fried rice, and some general tsos(they're also one of the only places that will actually make it spicy for me, even though it's supposed to be a spicy dish) and every now and then we'll add some dumplings or egg rolls or something.Well, yesterday, we decided to completely change up our order. I really wanted to try the empress chicken (it was so good, btw) and my guy wanted chow mein. They literally called us after we put in our online order just to check that we didn't make a mistake because it's different from what we usually get. That felt SO GOOD. Like they actually care about us. They're always amazing but that's just taking customer care to the next level.I will be a patron of this establishment as long as they're around. I already won't order Chinese from anywhere else but now it's for life.Thank you, Lao Peking for making great food and caring about your loyal customers.“
“Green River is located just past downtown Kansas City, Missouri and almost seems isolated. This family owned Chinese restaurant has been in the area for years and has served the neighboring community for a very long time. After reading reviews on it I decided to try them. It was Christmas Eve and they were closing early, but took my order anyway. The service was ok. The owner and I had small talk and I could tell she was tired. She mentioned she had a host of relatives to prepare dinner for so she was overwhelmed. The ambiance didn't count because it was take-out only. Probably pre-Covid you could eat in. You can tell the place used to be a nice restaurant for dine-in, but not now. The area is closed off. Upon arriving home I found there was a boat-load of Combination Fried Rice drowning in soy sauce. The portion size was great, but too much sauce and virtually no shrimp...the egg rolls were great though. I'd probably return and have them go easy on the soy sauce and express they need some shrimp in the dish. The General Tso Chicken was asked not to be spicy, but ended up too spicy to eat so it was a total wash and waste of money. I'm not happy about that, at all!!! I don't v want to give them a bad wrap, but had to share my experience. Maybe others have had a different one??? I'll chalk it up to the holiday... My advice: don't go during this time.“
“Ming garden is the best.... Every city I move to I have to have a go too Chinese takeout place... right.... I mean we all have that one we love. And I have found it.. it's always good... like always.. you can specify if you want white meat on your generals Taos if you want.. I mean it's always pipping hot and fresh. Yum. I'm hungry now. Bye.“
“Great place for date night, regular dining, family time, good foodVegetarian options: Vegetarian options alwaysParking: Street parking sometimes difficult but free lot across street and close free garageKid-friendliness: Kids definitelyWheelchair accessibility: Large easy access“
“One of the best Chinese places I've eaten at. The manager works very hard and the food is delicious. The manager can be blunt and assertive at times, but growing up in an Asian family, I'd say that's just a part of the 'Asian Experience' ?, so be patient with her.“
“Smaller than average place, smaller than average selection. That being said, what they did have was excellent! I'm 275 pounds and wasn't the smallest person there. Some of the male customers were even bigger, so I'd say many agree! I'd definitely be happy to come back here to wreck my diet and their profit margin again! F'N YUM!!! Staff was attentive, friendly, happy. Side note: Why would some fat-head rate a restaurant with a 1 when she "didn't know whether it was the food or a virus" she got...“
