“Fantastic barbecue! Easy to get to. Fast, friendly service. If you are picking friends up from the airport that want some great KC BBQ this is the place! If you aren't, it is definitely worth the drive. This isn't a chain, it's Scott (with a great crew). He is a competition BBQ enthusiast gone pro! We had Burnt End Tacos that were huge, two would have been plenty but I couldn't resist finishing the third. My son had a Buffalo Chicken Burrito, also tasty and filling. They were busy with lunch but the service was super fast and friendly. If you like great BBQ, this is the place! They also had some pastrami that we picked up to go for supper, fantastic as well, maybe some red pepper in there, nice twist on pastrami.“
“FYI: This is no longer a wine bar or wine shop. This was such a great Parkville spot to enjoy a drink with the wife or friends. We miss sitting on the porch or back patio under the vine on a beautiful day It's now only a wine club where you pay X and get a few bottles of wine a month. Members are also invited to tastings so they can order select wines. You can also rent the building for events.“
“We stopped in because we saw so many other good reviews. You have two options for ordering. Order at the counter, or scan the QR code and order directly from your table (love that option).We tried two different burgers, the Blueberry Stout burger and the Prohibition Burger. We loved them both but the Prohibition burger edged out the Blueberry stout in our opinion. This burger is messy, but delicious. Covered in swiss cheese, thick cut bacon, arugula, avocado and bourbon carnalized onions.We also loved the fries. You have your choice of dipping sauces. We got honey mustard and drunken ketchup. Both were good. You also have a good choice of local beers and spirits to choose from.I might just vote these as the best burgers in KC. Not a cheap option, but the quality makes it worth it.“
“It's always such a fun experience! It's such a cute place to go too, the service is so kind and friendly, and the gelato and Italian ice is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We love going there and walking in to be greeted with such a lovely smile from whoever is behind the counter.?“

Menu selection is varied- wraps, sandwiches, assorted pastries, chips, and so are the drinks. I had a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich... delicious. “After being a Bar K member for the last 3 years, this is my review!The nicest thing about Bar K is that you don’t have to worry about leaving your dogs unattended in the dog park. If something untoward happens with your pup, the dog-tenders will CERTAINLY be there to take care of the situation.That being said, the REALISTIC part about Bar K is that the dogtenders have, just like any other human being, predisposed beliefs about how certain breeds behave. If you have a pit-bull or other breed considered to be “naturally aggressive”, don’t be surprised when your dog is watched like a hawk and jumped on immediately when they start playing with another dog.When it comes to food and service, it’s ok. Once you’re sat down at a table, it’ll take 10-15 minutes for the server to arrive, and food takes about the same time.Restrooms: USUALLY super clean and stocked with TP.“
“This place has an amazing atmosphere! That’s one reason to stop by, but the beer is delicious and the design (both interior and graphic) are noteworthy. I had the flight and my buddy had a seltzer. We had the fresh ipa, hazy ipa, sour, saison, and oktoberfest. Gotta say, this place is one of the best around.“
“a very unique and extremely spacious coffeeshop that is paired with a motorcycle shop. This location has the roaster on the floor for all to see with tables near it for cupping and what seemed to be coffee education courses. In the primary shop area, you will find everything you can think of in terms of motorcycle accessories for the most part along with your coffee essentials. Had my typical cortado and it was solid. Unfortunately they don’t serve it traditionally with sparkling water. Worthy visit if you are ever in the area.“
“Was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The mooncake sign caught my attention and made it feel like a little piece of home. I currently live in Wichita, KS but originally from LA. Growing up in a Chinese family this totally made my day. I had the lotus seed paste flavor mooncake with green tea. Would come back if I'm in the area to try their red bean paste one. Owner was very friendly and welcoming ?“
“So many good things happening here! I am not a beer drinker ? but took my husband for a birthday date. I have to say I did really like the cherry cider and appreciated that they had a non alcoholic option that was served just like all their other drinks. Also the plant lover in me was all about checking out all their spider plants and big beautiful babies everywhere! We found a big comfy couch to chill on while ordering food on the iPad at the door for the BBQ place next door. And the best part is in the cold those sweet people brought our yummy food to us at the brew house! They also have a corner of kids toys like cars and board games! Overall the service was great and we really enjoyed this sweet spot!“

“Very cool brewery and space. The bartenders were super nice - they recommended a couple beers based on my preference and also helped me when I had an issue with my phone. Absolutely recommend! Their indoor space is nice, and they also have an outside area for when the weather is good.“
“Wow, this truck is now my go to for legit Mexican food. Their quesabirria is spot on and we finally found pastor that is more similar to what we were used to in LA. They are new to town so the lines are still short/non-existent but I'm sure it won't be long before it gets busier.“
“My first time to Los Hornos and it will not be my last. The food was excellent. The service was perfect and the sangria was refreshingly wonderful.We had an empanada and the Argentinian Chimichurri appetizer. The appetizer is provolone cheese melted in a small cast iron skillet with an extremely delicious chimichurri sauce on top. They need some better crackers, but it was great. The empanada was also very good. There are many different ones to choose from. We'll be back for the sangria for sure. This a great hidden little gem in KC worth checking out.“

“These folks must have made a deal with the devil to make cookies this delicious! I tried the S'mores, OG Chocolate Chip, Mudpie, and Salted Pretzel M&M. Each was more amazing than the last. They are HUGE, so be prepared to share (or save for later). The price may seem high, but when you see how much cookie you get, along with the quality, you'll get it. Absolutely worth every penny. They are individually wrapped, so you don't have to eat a whole box at once. And honestly, the cookie itself keeps pretty darn well, so you don't even have to eat a whole cookie at once.Supporting small business never tasted so good!“

“Absolutely one of my new favorite restaurants! The staff were so courteous, pleasant and attentive I felt like a superstar patron or family! The charcuterie appetizer we ordered was amazing. The wild boar chop was a little tough because it was so lean but we were cautioned about that possibility before we ordered. The mushroom cream sauce on the chop was fabulous as was the Bavarian cabbage and hazelnut spätzle sides. The KÄSESAHNETORTE a quark cheese mousse with lemon and berries is to die for and worth a return trip just for it! Best birthday present I've ever gotten for my partner especially since I got to enjoy every bit(e) as much! I HIGHLY recommend a visit sooner rather than later to this amazing restaurant?“

“Our experience at La Bodega was overall really good. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service and atmosphere were nice.We ordered one pulled pork tapa and the paella verduras and 2 Spanish coffees!Flavors were unique and tasty.We were under the impression that our coffees would be prepared tableside and were a little disappointed that they were prepared at the bar. We saw that another table ordered the same thing, and it was prepared at their table. So be sure to ask if you are expecting it to be a table side experience.The other note I would make is that while the tapas are delicious, they are not a good value. The portions are very small. The paella, in my opinion, was a better value.We would come back again, but would probably stick with just the paella and drinks.“

“My office had a party at Border Brewing with about 60 attendees. Eric was super easy to work with, did not slam us with huge event fees, and the bartenders were exceptional. This place isn’t your typical brewery with a choice of super hoppy IPA or 14% stout. They have great IPAs and heavier beer but they also have a wide variety of lighter beers to please anyone’s taste. Drinks were full all night and our entire group had a blast. Can’t thank these guys enough.“
“it was sooo good! I ordered the "buff baby Mac n cheese" I believe it was called. It had buffalo sauce on it and two huge chicken tenders. the Mac n cheese itself has a great texture and the sauce was amazing and Oh my goodness the chicken tenders ? they were so crunchy. I really recommend this place if you like Mac n cheese and they're menu is small so there's not much contemplating, it's all quick and easy!“

“Went there in a Saturday afternoon late February. Come to find out they aren’t “fully”open till mid March with a full selection of vendors. None the less two vendors were open. Tried the burger place and it was excellent. Got to see what the sandwich shop was serving and it look very good as well. It’s on the list for next time. Kinda cool having the place to ourselves with the 75 degree day but will definitely be back to get the full experience.“

“Rochester is our favorite weekend tradition! They serve delicious coffee and homemade donuts in a really fun atmosphere. My kids love watching the trains go by while sitting in the train car. We also really enjoy the vegetarian breakfast burritos and grilled cheese sandwich.“

We were blown away by Tomas and the absolutely delectable food!Tomas had excellent communication and went over the top to make sure our day was special. He helped us plan the menu and we couldn’t have been happier.The wedding guests all raved about the food throughout the night. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon were the absolute bomb. The Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and stir fry stole the show! We loved how our guests could start with a mild version and increase the heat as they saw fit.Tomas was so thoughtful and posted all the possible allergy concerns and made sure peanuts were on the side for those with an allergy.Tomas and Yings Thai made our night special and for that we are incredibly grateful!“

“We’ve only had takeout from here. The staff is always friendly and very organized and aware of orders. I have yet to have a meal I didn’t like and we have ordered at least five different times (lunch and dinner). They are quick and the food is always hot and fresh. I have not had the sushi yet but plan to for the next visit. The interior is a bit dated but that is. Common across many restaurants in KC. Great job Chopstix! Highly recommend!“

Maybe being too hyped up beforehand led to a little disappointment than is fair (hence the 4 star instead of 3 to make up for that). That said, the atmosphere is really cool, and the 3 level bar with exposed brick is pretty sweet. It's borderline trashy bar and nice place to eat, which is an interesting edge to be honest. The food was hit and miss - the tacos weren't all that great, and the breading of the fried pickles was pretty hard, but the philly egg rolls are one of the best appetizers in the business. Absolutely must try, and I'll be back for more. The service was a little slow, but very friendly. Price was very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend it for a cool hang out spot and some decent food.“
“After living in Vietnam for a while, we have specific ideas of what a Banh Mi should be. We finally found an authentic Banh MI here! Delicious. The key was the bread... that flaky, crispy, french-style roll.... and the veggies inside were perfect too. I will definitely be going back here for my Banh mi cravings.... takes me back to my favorite little street cart across from the school I taught at (and that is a BIG compliment).
