“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!“

“We have been going to Lotus Hot Pot since it opened. Anytime we crave hot pot we head that way all the way from Independence. Restaurant is always clean, service is great and food is delicious! Hannah always makes sure to come out and greet her guest and Lina gives amazing service with a smile. The owners are so kind and genuine quick to strike up a conversation. And their house made chai tea is absolutely to die for, I will definitely be back time and time again for that alone. “I stumbled upon this little shop after begging the GPS to find the closest coffee shop on my way to work. Being greeted by a calm, sweet, warm eyed pup and great coffee was just what I needed. Spent $23 for an 18" pie that fed 5 adults. Well worth the drive from Zona to NKC. My new favorite pizza joint.“

“Tonight we came to Thai Orchid for my birthday and sat in Dylan’s section and he was outstanding! So friendly and attentive. He gave us just enough time without being pushy. Our food was wonderful and fresh. I cannot recommend this location enough. We ordered the soft spring rolls, steamed dumplings, shrimp yellow curry and the shrimp pad Thai. Delicious!“

“They had a nice variety of beers from different breweries. The service was good and the food was good. We spent a little over $50 on food and beer for 2 people, they’d not bad at all. There was no parking available in their side and back parking lot. We ended up parking on the street. However they do validate your parking spot if you find a spot to park in their parking lot. They have a ramp which is handicap accessible.“

Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“

“The owner is the nicest man I've ever met. Other tea just isn't the same anymore, and whenever I run out I make a long drive all the way out just to buy their tea. You can tell how much love and passion he puts into his business. A very kind and caring man who talks with me every time I come in, and remembers his customers. They stopped selling the tangerine blossom tea but he had a little bit left and sold it to me. Made my entire year already, I will treat it like gold and cherish every cup. Couldn't recommend a store more.“

We drove a half an hour to get there and were pretty disappointed. So you might call first to make sure that they're actually open when they say they're going to be.“
