“I'm so grateful for this hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant! It is always delicious, especially the Bahn Mi and Bun with grilled pork/eggroll + peanut sauce. Spencer and his wife are always so kind and make sure my order is correct. I also enjoy the relaxing music when I dine in as compared to most restaurant's loud music when I'm chatting with friends. Please check this place out!!“

“We have been going to Lotus Hot Pot since it opened. Anytime we crave hot pot we head that way all the way from Independence. Restaurant is always clean, service is great and food is delicious! Hannah always makes sure to come out and greet her guest and Lina gives amazing service with a smile. Love the new all you can eat menu, just the right amount of serving (not like other places) and when you need more just order more!“

“This was my go-to spot every single week when I lived in Kansas City five years ago. Since then, I’ve lived in Georgia, California, and Washington, and I currently reside in Seattle—yet this place remains the #1 Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever been to. “I took a quick trip to KC and stayed downtown. I was looking for restaurants to eat at within walking distance and found the Asian Cafe.
The food was really good and the server was very kind. If ever I’m back in downtown KC, I’ll definitely be stopping in here again!“

“I love dining at broken rice. The food is always fantastic. Emma and her husband have created a very bright and comfortable space. The flavors are awesome. The fried quail appetizer is always delicious, but then so is the rest of their food.“
