“Taylor was working the day we were in and she was just so wonderful!! She thoroughly explained the concept and the menu, she answered all our questions, and guided us toward things we might like, and offered her honest opinion on different flavors and concoctions. It was really fun crafting our drinks with her. They were definitely sweet- next time I think I'll ask for the small size in a medium cup so I can dilute it a bit.“
“Came in today just on a whim. I've had Mediterranean but it's not my go-to so I thought to mix it up and this was in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the food.I started with a cup of Lentil soup. It was flavorful and subtle at the same time. I would definitely order a bowl next time.Following up, I ordered a gyro with a side of basmati. The gyro overall was good, but the taste of their sauce was a little too subtle than what I've had in the past. I also can't be too sure, but the cut of the lamb didn't seem fresh off the wheel like I've had before. It was good, but I did ask for a small side of tzatziki and tahini for extra pop. Basmati was good as well but I ended up using some of the tahini on that as well for some added flavor.I ended the meal with their assorted dessert plate to sample everything they had. The Ballourie (the thing that looks like a pair of Twix) was my favorite overall. Followed by the Burma Pistachio, which kind of tasted like sunflower seeds wrapped in shredded wheats, covered in honey; oddly delicious. The least, but still good, was the Baklava, which was a little too crunchy and not as tasty as the others. I'd order the assortment again, but I'd say one plate is good for one person, rather than to be shared. Now I will comment that even though the crew was nice, they were also not always present. I believe they must have been running a skeleton crew because the front person was also running to the kitchen to cook. That being said, this is definitely one of those places that feels more like an "order at the counter and eat at the table" sort of spot, rather than a full service. All the same, kind staff and was attentive with water and bussing when in eyesight. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop in again. Happy and well fed ?“
“Stopped there on the way home one day while visiting my kids and really enjoyed the food and the ambiance!! Wasn't too busy and the system that the have when ordering your food works well even though it's crowded. The food was excellent“
“Dinner for my wife's birthday. Jason our server was awesome and helped us navigate the menu and wine. Excellent, intimate venue with unique and excellent food. The Sea bass and steak were insanely tasty, NYC, Chicago, SF food and vibe.“
“I have been wanting to stop here to check out the place. It was a nice afternoon and I finally did. Nice seating area inside. Quiet enough to hang out with a friend and chat. While there I ordered a cup of coffee and Kolaches and empanadas to go. A nice lady waited on me. Service was great.“
“Absolutely love Brewers Kitchen. Staff is extremely friendly, local beer selection is fantastic and the food is nothing short of amazing. Ive had just about every thing on the menu in the last 6 months of visiting and have never been disappointed. Their house made Honey Mustard is exceptional and wish I could buy gallons of it for back home it's that good. The food really is the star of the show, you can tell nothing is frozen and everything is fresh and made to order. If you want the best burger in KC, you need to come in to Brewers Kitchen.“
“I just had the most amazing experience at seven brew in Overland Park. Andrew took my order and was so wonderful, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much in a coffee drive-through scenario. It honestly is like the friendliness of Chick fil a, but without the feeling obligated to make awkward, small talk. It was genuinely Great and the few minutes that I got to chat with him, absolutely will make a point to come back to this location“
“First time trying. Love the atmosphere. My husband and I both got brownie sundaes, unfortunately I did not like the brownies, and didn’t finish them. But the carrot cake ice cream was good. We both agreed that if we came back, we would do ice cream by itself.“
“Food was really good. Service was quirky and attentive. My only complaint about anything was the lighting. They have weird blue lights that (see picture) make it difficult to read the menu and see the food. I had to guess a lot about the flavors. This was on the back patio. I'll be back but I'm bringing my glasses next time.“
“My boyfriend and I have been taking our dogs there for quite a while now. Not only our dogs love it so much. We love the employees there. They all treat our dogs like their own and ALWAYS greet them when we get there. I will forever recommend this place for anyone.“
“OMG fantastic BBQ! Some of the best, most tender burnt ends I've had in KC! Definitely will be returning for brunch! We also enjoyed an appetizer w/$8 off for their "8th Anniversary Special" - we got the BBQ wontons - definitely would recommend. But I also saw the appetizer for onion straws - it was stacked about 6 inches high with onion straws across the 12 inch appetizer plate - it was HUGE to say the least & I was sad we didn't get that too after seeing it :) Kye was great! Very quick & on top of our needs. She seemed to be one of the few waiters/waitresses working & she kicked major butt! Thank you!!“
“(Copied from my Yelp page!) I wish I had taken a picture of our delicious experience at this beautiful locale but alas, next time. We were greeted in a way I can only describe as "vibes" and that was the start of what I hope is a long and fruitful relationship with this amazing establishment. The drinks are smooth and unique, the grilled cheese (which was my husbands but if you think I wasn't going to nibble like a mouse at a Gouda and pesto grilled cheese, you are nuts) was HEAVENLY, the muffin was it's blueberry best and the ambiance was immaculate. Can't wait to go back. It was like walking into your friends house to have a coffee. But now I will expect compliments on my hair EVERY TIME...the bar has been set. seriously, I'm not joking. But actually seriously, every neighborhood should have a coffee shop so welcoming and warm!“
“This place has an amazing atmosphere! That’s one reason to stop by, but the beer is delicious and the design (both interior and graphic) are noteworthy. I had the flight and my buddy had a seltzer. We had the fresh ipa, hazy ipa, sour, saison, and oktoberfest. Gotta say, this place is one of the best around.“
“Cute little cafe in the nursery! There is plenty of seating, as well as a section to sit in the green house surrounded by all the plants. The sparkling matcha limeade was very refreshing and made for an even better plant shopping experience.“
“This was my first visit here and it was fantastic!! Ordering was super easy with the interactive wall mounted menu, and when we had questions the staff was friendly and helpful. One of our group wasn’t sure what she wanted, and was able to order at the counter after asking questions about the menu. With five people we were all able to find something to our taste, and every one of the drinks were delicious. Our order was prepared quickly and accurately as well.Parking: At no fault of the owners of this business, the businesses on either side of this one have greedily claimed all of the parking right in front of the storefront with their own signage. However, there is general parking in the same vicinity very close by. It’s not difficult to find close parking at all.Kid-friendliness: There are so many kid-friendly flavors available that even my pickiest kiddo found something to enjoy! They also have board games available for use in the seating area.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap parking spaces available almost right outside the door, along with a sidewalk ramp leading to the business. Inside has wide walkways and tables well-suited to wheelchair access. The wall mounted interactive menu is probably just slightly too high to order from a wheelchair, but the ordering counter is low enough that placing an order there would be very reasonable.“
“Was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The mooncake sign caught my attention and made it feel like a little piece of home. I currently live in Wichita, KS but originally from LA. Growing up in a Chinese family this totally made my day. I had the lotus seed paste flavor mooncake with green tea. Would come back if I'm in the area to try their red bean paste one. Owner was very friendly and welcoming ?“
“So many good things happening here! I am not a beer drinker ? but took my husband for a birthday date. I have to say I did really like the cherry cider and appreciated that they had a non alcoholic option that was served just like all their other drinks. Also the plant lover in me was all about checking out all their spider plants and big beautiful babies everywhere! We found a big comfy couch to chill on while ordering food on the iPad at the door for the BBQ place next door. And the best part is in the cold those sweet people brought our yummy food to us at the brew house! They also have a corner of kids toys like cars and board games! Overall the service was great and we really enjoyed this sweet spot!“
“Recently had the Ruben and potato salad last Friday! Super good! Legit, I’ve paid twice as much for this kind of thing at other places, and they couldn’t even come close to how good y’all were! Good atmosphere, not super loud, and supporting a local, historical part of town! Thank you all at Breit’s“
“Our family had the best experience here! We all ordered a variety of food to share and it was all outstanding! Our waitress was fantastic, she came frequently to make sure everything was going well and gave some great menu recommendations! We all left very full and delighted with our experience.“
“Mark Robinson and his team are conclusive and their ability to direct you into which area you can develop is key. They have a keen intuition for where the market is headed and when to makes profits. they are worth listening to. Try the consultation! And never go low in your portfolio even when the Market is in dip or pump.“
“Another gem in the KC coffee scene. Driving out of your way is worth it for the drinks and the atmosphere. It's a spacious and cool store that's easy to relax in. Great chai, perfectly spiced and rich. The banana mocha is delicious.“
“Love love love this place I lived in the northeast area my whole life and always drove past this coffee shop recently started trying different places and this morning I walked in hoping to find a hidden gem such a vibe great delicious coffee great costumer service beautiful cute cozy sitting will go again especially knowing that it’s right down the street from my house“
“I've been here a few times and it's always enjoyable. They had a pretty impressive live musician playing. The wait staff despite being very busy were still very friendly and attentive. The menu is fairly small but the quality is excellent for every dish I've tried. The cocktails are unique and delicious. If you're looking for a fun dining experience, I recommend dropping by Murphy's Corner.“
“THE SUPERIOR BOBA SHOP IN THE KC METRO AREA. If I can, I will always choose to buy my boba here. No other place has them beat on quality, taste & price. I would rather support a small business than any other chain in the area that is overpriced for what it’s worth. Every drink of theirs hits the spot and the customization lets you cater to your own tastes. Please tip well when you can, the owners & employees are so kind and there’s a very small turnover in employees so you will often see the same faces. Ari Delights I love you forever.“
“The Wife and I went here last night since they had vegan pizza and let me tell you this was some of the best pizza I ever had. It was very hot and fresh. The Employees where super friendly. If you haven't tried them, then your missing out.“
“This is literally my go-to spot now! I LOVED my experience x1000! Its so beautiful inside. Its a cafe & event space. I stopped in because my friend was Dj'ing & it was such a vibe! The service was amazing! Every question I asked was answered! Food was amazing! I will always recommend this place! They also have so many events on their IG, so check them out!“
“The cheese lasagna with sauce is delicious! I get it delivered for lunch often. Comes with a roll and butter. There is a meat sauce option, I haven't tried that yet because I'm just obsessed with my original order. If you have a sweet tooth like me, a fresh brownie from here is rich and chocolatey heaven!“
“The food was great and the waitress was wonderful with the kids. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. It was a neat experience, like being back in Germany.Parking: Parking was difficult to findKid-friendliness: They brought the kids their own plastic utensils, they had their own menu's as well.“
“Our experience at La Bodega was overall really good. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service and atmosphere were nice.We ordered one pulled pork tapa and the paella verduras and 2 Spanish coffees!Flavors were unique and tasty. We were under the impression that our coffees would be prepared tableside and were a little disappointed that they were prepared at the bar. We saw that another table ordered the same thing, and it was prepared at their table. So be sure to ask if you are expecting it to be a table side experience. The other note I would make is that while the tapas are delicious, they are not a good value. The portions are very small. The paella, in my opinion, was a better value. We would come back again, but would probably stick with just the paella and drinks.“
“Food was so delicious, as was my beverage. Service was fantastic. We were so hungry that we neglected to take photos. Would highly recommend this place. A bit pricey, but also not terrible. One negative was it was cold and I was freezing.“
“AmazingI really enjoyed the mochi doughnuts and the floral mango tea.I also was able to grab a sandwich from a pop-up event made by Chef Hera ( The homemade focaccia bread was to die for )Definitely will be back to try their goodies and to check out some of the local art they have displayed.“
“Always great beer, the Tacos Valentina food concept inside is pretty good too. They have the newer Public House side which is open and shiny then they have the original Taproom in the back that's wooden and cosy open a few nights a week still.“
“Not sure what the theme for this restaurant was, but I had the impossible burger, and I was deeply impressed. I have been a beef eater, all my life. This burger was amazing. Would recommend trying it if you were curious. The staff was amazing, I can't remember the waitress name now, it was one of those 'like this city name but without the last letter's people. She did amazing.“
“Nice!I tried a machiato, and it has aromas distinct from other shops in a good way. It also came with a complimentary drip coffee. My wife and I enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere. It has a decent amount of seating capacityDefinitely one to come back.“
“The Greek charcuterie board(flat bread, olives, cucumber slices, greek yogurt and hummus dips) were amazingly good. But the tortellini with white sauce had mushy tortellini noodles($35) I've had way better, but my husband loved the fish of the day. (Sea salt encrusted baked fish, I'm not sure...but around $45) Only fish, no side dishes. Overall, the flatbread board was sooo good....everything else...way over priced. And ok.“
“This wonderful establishment has delicious food, brilliant coffee, and an amazing staff. I'm lactose intolerant and their almond milk does NOT taste like a sad, burnt reminder that it ain't milk. It tastes like perfection in a cup, and is also my favorite. The staff is spectacular, charming and skilled, 10/10 will always recommend. The atmosphere is really nice, since it's connected to a bakery the smell is always mouthwateringly good.Bring your friends, this is effectively the best coffee shop.“
“Kyle owns this great KC gem. It’s a clean and friendly atmosphere in the heart of KC. Beer, whiskey, wine, no cocktails. Kyle is a beer lover but won’t steer you wrong with you spirit selections! I had a great time Chatting with him and trying Penelope and Barrel Craft bourbons!“
“This is a great brewery and the best I visited in KC. I had the pleasure of talking with the owner and the brewer and learned a lot about the beers and the KC beer scene. The fish and chips were also very good. They have indoor and outdoor seating options and the environment is very comfortable. The beers I tried: Wheat (excellent) Biscuit (great) Marzen (very good) Chocolate Stout (great)“
“Tldr: Friday was a 5 star experience, Saturday was a 3 star experience. Averaging out at 4 stars overall.Details:Came in on two different days early in the morning (7-8ish) and had two different experiences, one excellent, the other ok.On a Friday morning, grabbed an Americano. Vibe is calm and quiet. Americano comes out amazing, touch of bubbles and oil on the top. The aroma and taste are top notch, placing it in the top americanos I've had, showing the skill in extracting the flavor and oils from the beans. Reading in the coffee shop was excellent without headphones.Saturday was a bit different. Vibe is a bit different, with higher energy pop style music playing. Staff are still amazingly friendly, but were chatting louder (primarily the gentlemen working) than any guests or the music at the time I was there, attempting to read, which ended up being a distraction most of the time. Americano today is flat, no visible bubbles or oils from the beans, as well as being more transparent. Seems to be watered down more in comparison to yesterday. It's still a good Americano, but nothing in comparison to yesterday's. More of a stronger coffee than an espresso based drink.I do recommend this spot, but also recommend the owners to help ensure consistency of drinks and atmosphere across days and different staff.“
“I cannot express how special this place is too me.Me and my girlfriend have been going here since we started dating.Every time we go here, we have gotten the same seat almost every time (It's really cute to us).On top of all that, we have tried the sides, the miso soup, and most of the sushi. If you want a great first impression, get the sushi boat; for it is amazing! They put love and care into their food, and the atmosphere is just a great. This is my #1 favorite place to eat in the Metro area.Vegetarian options: There are dishes that contain no meat, and most if not all rolls are labeled what is in them.If you don't see it, ask, the staff is extremely friendly.“
“This is our third visit to this restaurant I thought they deserved some props. Food was tasty, portions were large and prices were very good. There was four of us and each person ordered a full plate lunch and drinks. Our check was around $90.00. Now some might freak at that but we all took home boxes with enough food for a second lunch. Our server was very helpful and attentive to everyone at our table. All of highly recommend Southside Bar & Grill for lunch. I'm sure it would be great for dinner too!“
“I have been purchasing Quarantine Cookies for some time now. I can’t count how many orders I’ve placed. These cookies are absolutely outstanding. I’m 1800 miles away from Quarantine Cookies, but they always arrive timely and extremely FRESH. The cookie selection is varied and with thoughtful, complete, and complex flavors. I’ve tried and loved them all. I’ve also purchased these cookies as gifts and they are a big hit with the recipient. I guarantee that you will love these cookies and line up to order more!“
“We have been to Iron District many times, and it's a really great place when you want different food options. The variety is exceptional, and the outdoor picnic table setting is great in good weather. The one aspect that lacks is the service, specifically the bar service. There is often a wait, and at times only the beer section is open. We went on a busy day and had to wait over 30 minutes in line just to get a beer. Our group would have stayed for hours and spent a lot of money that day, but decided to go somewhere that didn't require us to spend half our time in line for a beer.“
“Food is authentic and tastes great. Perfect amount odds seasonings. Plated well even though it was take out. Make sure to visit this hidden gem in South KC. Small locally owned business that needs your support! Owners very nice and service was fast.“
“This is a good place. Felt a bit like home with the Aussie pictures on the wall. Good breakfast. They make a nice flat white. The machines are geared so they can do "short shots" (ristretto) so the coffee actually tastes good. (A lot of places are just geared for "long shots" (espresso) so coffees tend to just be brown milk bevs). Had me some Vegemite toast. Ok, all they needed to do was spread some on bread, but at least the bread was great, and whoever was spreading knew how to do it- that's easy to get wrong for a non Aussie. I also had a brekkie sandwich with egg, spinach, avo, and it was done the Australian way. As soon as I bit into it, I had perfect yolk all over my hands. That's how it's done. Breakfast needs to be a messy business! Didn't try the pies but they looked and smelled great. It's honestly not really much of an Aussie hang if that's what you are after. I'm not really sure how many Australians are in this neck of the woods - I drove in from North Carolina. I understand the owners are Aussies but they are not always there. But the food and coffee is good. It's worth a stop-in.“
“Good Mac and cheese place. We got the BBQ Mac which was of course super good. The BBB Mac which had SO MUCH bacon, it was a bit sweeter but still really good especially with all the bacon. And we got the fried Mac bites. Those were decent. Breading was super good on the and super crispy.Place is small with limited seating. Defiantly designed for the corporate clientele in the area. Self serv kiosk to order and looked to be one person behind making the food. He was supper apologetic of the wait (we didn’t wait long. Maybe 10 min). Nice little quick bite but better as take out instead of sitting to eat.“
“Food was great, yummy veggie options, and the service was excellent. Every single person was smiling and helpful- you just don’t find that environment everywhere these days. Thanks for a great dinner (and thanks Diana and the rest of the staff for being awesome!)“
“First time here, I was planning on ordering a to-go meal. Walked in and no one was in sight so I just kinda stood around and someone eventually came to the front desk. While I sat and waited for my food someone else walked in and waited but no one ever came to the front so they left. Good was ready decently fast! For it home and it has made a mess all over the inside of the bag so everything was covered in the sauce from one of the dishes. I did really enjoy the food though, quite delicious. Not sure if they were short staffed that day or it is always like that (hopefully not)“
“Always the best crepes in the state. Sooooo good and gluten free is available for all crepes. I love the French infused atmosphere and the staff. A must visit breakfast brunch spot in the cityDietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian“
“There's not question... five stars all day every day! We moved here last year and were ELATED to find out we moved within walking distance to Sandhills! The atmosphere is so chill and welcoming, it makes you want to go back week after week! The selection of beers is excellent. They always have a great range of strengths from kolsch all the way up to stouts or double IPAs. They also have great limited releases that keep us going back.“
