“Cute little cafe in the nursery! There is plenty of seating, as well as a section to sit in the green house surrounded by all the plants. The sparkling matcha limeade was very refreshing and made for an even better plant shopping experience.“
“Great product! Became a fan of the Kölsch instantly, along with a few others. First time visitor, wished there were flights available to get a full spectrum but everything I tried was great! Service was a little rough. Bartender seemed displeased to answer questions on flavor profiles or little tasters…. Wasn’t a fan of the eye rolls.“
“THE BEST BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE! My husband and I found this place last year on February while at in KC for a conference. He decided to surprise me for my birthday with a day trip to KC (we live in Nebraska). His first stop was McLains and again, It. Did. Not. Disappoint. Already planning a trip to come back!! The owner was lovely to chat to (100% should branch out to Nebraska ?) Plus, our dogs were welcomed on the patio and even given peanut butter cookie crumbles for a dog treat.Vegetarian options: My plan is to have their veggie wrap next!! You can also get quite a few (if not all) menu options without meat.“
“Finally got to try Transport and really enjoyed it! I pass by it often and it typically seems to have a good crowd inside. I like the seating arrangement inside and with the weather being nice they had the window open which made it all the better.The bartender seemed excited to tell me what beers they had to offer and told me about their Mug Club which seems like a great deal. They're pretty IPA heavy currently these days it being springtime. I'm not much of an IPA guy myself but I was still in luck as their Prost! kolsch and Lake Quivira Light lager are delicious. I believe they have special deals on Thursdays and Sundays as well that you'll have to ask about. Transport is a good time!“
“Wow, this truck is now my go to for legit Mexican food. Their quesabirria is spot on and we finally found pastor that is more similar to what we were used to in LA. They are new to town so the lines are still short/non-existent but I'm sure it won't be long before it gets busier.“
“Not sure why this place is never spoken of as one of the great KC BBQ places up with the others. The food is definitely a top 5 bbq in KC and the sauce is easily a top 3. It is a super casual place that just makes great food. I have been here several times, and the only downside is that the they are occasionally understaffed with waiters/waitresses which can make paying your bill a little slow. Other than that this place is great.“
“I've ordered a jackhammer multiple times at multiple locations. At other locations, the 2nd topping goes all the way down the center. Multiple times, this location has only put the second topping on the top. kind of defeats the purpose of a jackhammer if you don't do it correctly. oh, and the bottom 1/3 of my custard was completely vanilla (no toppings whatsoever!)“
“Not your usual bar fare! Good variety of menu selections. Wraps, cheese curds, sweet potato fries, and black bean salsa were fresh and tasty. The Instamatics were rocking out to a mostly geriatric crowd (us included!), dancing up a storm. Great night! (Could have used a little more attention from the waiter for refills on our waters so we could keep hydrated.)“
“I chose this burger stand because I like hole in the Wall restaurants. usually their food is good. The burger was delicious but needed more seasoning kinda tasted like nothing Lol. Fries were banging!!! Nice crisp not mushy for the price the burger was on the small side.(you could get a bigger and better tasting burger from Denny's) frfr first time try and last time trying“
“OMG fantastic BBQ! Some of the best, most tender burnt ends I've had in KC! Definitely will be returning for brunch! We also enjoyed an appetizer w/$8 off for their "8th Anniversary Special" - we got the BBQ wontons - definitely would recommend. But I also saw the appetizer for onion straws - it was stacked about 6 inches high with onion straws across the 12 inch appetizer plate - it was HUGE to say the least & I was sad we didn't get that too after seeing it :) Kye was great! Very quick & on top of our needs. She seemed to be one of the few waiters/waitresses working & she kicked major butt! Thank you!!“
