“Basically a Mediterranean Chipotle.
My mother and I had dine-in lunch. Not that busy at all. We both had bowls. Plenty of fresh delicious options. They went too heavy on the sauce at the end of the line. It overpowered every other flavor. Other than that it was great. Delicious selection of naturally sweetened sodas at a fountain, delicious fresh juices and lemonade. Super welcoming, friendly staff. Food is about $1-$2 overpriced, but fair I guess.

“I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!“

“I wanna do a huge shout out for Chris at the Lenexa location when I messed up my order and thought I was going to have it delivered. Got a call from Meddys that it had been sitting there and Chris was getting off work said he would drop it by the house. That’s above and beyond customer service thank you Meddys! “Lunch date with my husband. If you love Mediterranean food I strongly suggest going here. The red pepper humus is the best I’ve ever eaten. The customer service was outstanding! The kabob is so perfectly grilled. Yummy!“

“So glad we came across this hidden GEM!, Amir Mediterranean. The food was fabulous, my daughter and I had the Steak kabob platter and the Gyro platter, which came with lentil soup, salad, hummus and baba ghanoush. The owner, TK was so fun and he let us sample the Turkish tea and the Baklava, everything was so delicious, we ate all of it!!!! We definitely will be back.“

“Was trying to get turned around on Metcalf, Dad was in the mood for Greek food. Pulled off into little center area to loop back on 105th… and bam there was this little authentic Greek restaurant. WOW! The food was amazing!!! A great find!“

“The food here is great! Fresh, tasty, and the portions are big. I always build my own bowl and always have leftovers. The staff is excellent too! They were very busy this evening when I came in a little early for my online order. They offered me a drink while I waited and I got to try the cucumber mint lime drink, it was very good. The staff even went out of their way to accommodate a special request I had, which I really appreciated!“

“This has been our go to place for Mediterranean food....and I don't mean our go to for the past week, month or year...for over 15 years!
It a very big restaurant with tons of seating. The tables and booths are spaced out well. The service is great. Food comes to you pretty quickly as well.
Speaking of food, mmmhmm. Btw this is why I could never be a food blogger. I ate the food before I even thought about taking pictures 😂
We had the baba ganoush, chicken swarma platter and a chicken gyro. They were all delicious.....and yessssss I couldn't leave without getting baklava. Ended up with the regular, pistachio, and walnut. 15 years running and I still can't pick my favorite 😂

“Went today for my Husband's birthday and the whole staff was phenomenal! The moment we walked in we were greeted so kindly. We got the Hummus as a appetizer, which came out so fast, and not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful. You can definitely tell and taste the love and care that was prepared with the food. For our entrees, I got the Chicken Shawarma and my Husband got the Gyro Plate and the rice and meat was wonderfully seasoned. For dessert we tried the Pistachio Baklava and it was perfection. The entire experience from the moment we walked in was such a treat. We will definitely be back.“
