“I've been hearing about this place for over a year. I'm sad today was my 1st time going.Cute place. Very helpful and friendly staff.I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I'm very impressedI tried:Baba's Falafel sandwich. YES!Baba's Fries. I usually don't eat fries, they were recommended. The seasoning on these are awesome. If you like fries, get these!Torshi. Delicious.Hummus. Nothing special but great texture and very enjoyable.Pita bread. Lovely, great pocket pita.Pickled Turnips. Great!Shatta. Yes! Yes! Yes!Goat Cheese Balls. Shut the front door! I've only eaten 1 of 4. I'm already planning my next trip to buy more!Baklava. This may be the best I've ever had. Super flaky, very sweet without being fake sweet, great nut flavor. Total win!Baba Ganoush. Only fail. I expect baba ganoush to be roasted and smoky. The only thing I could taste was the olive oil (which is great, nice and fruity. Great olive oil) I'll try it again next time. But this time there was no flavor.10 of 10.My only regret is I haven't been before. Will be going back alot.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu is vegetarian. I only saw 3 meat options. Most everything is vegetarian.“
“Great! Here's a sample review:The atmosphere is warm and the staff is very friendly made great recommendations. The food was exceptional - I tried the lamb chops and it was bursting with flavors and super tender. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine. 5 stars and can't wait to go back!“
“I didn’t get a great picture because the food was 1/2 gone before I got around to thinking about doing a review. Lol. It was amazing. Food was fresh and homemade!! The falafel was the best I’ve ever had. Hands down. Lentil soup was amazing. Hummus and Baba were great. The service was excellent. They also offer a selection of fresh squeezed juices, and freshly made juice drinks. I had the mint lemonade - it was obvious that she squeezed the lemons and blended it with fresh mint, water, ice and sugar. Delicious. One of those meals where you walk away feeling full, satisfied but GOOD. Even the pita - was served hot - fresh grilled, with a seasoning on top. Yum!!“
“We've been dining here for a very long time and have always enjoyed the food. We're also very thankful for the grocery that's been added because some of my favorite foods to make at home are hard to find the ingredients to at a regular grocery for the right price.“
“Had a great experience trying Nick the Greek for the first time! I perused the menu before going in so I knew exactly what I wanted to order. I ordered the beef/lamb gyro with fries and a drink. Everything got to me in a reasonable time and was absolutely hot and fresh. The gyro itself was loaded with meat and I loved their tzatziki sauce. This is where my one complaint comes from though but it is personal preference. If you like a lot of sauce I would ask for extra. I can never have enough of the tzatziki The fries were really good and had a good seasoning on them. I will say too, one order is enough for two people! I want to try the Greek fries next time which has feta! I will definitely be back again!“
“One of the best dining experiences I have had in Kansas City. The food was AMAZING. My only regrets are that I did not have more room to try more dishes and when I come back I'll have to decide if I want to try new dishes or get the amazing ones of already tried. They make one the best old fashioneds I've ever had. My wife got the Keylime Me Softly, which was an amazing drink made with pisco and tasted just like key lime pie.“
“I cannot express how happy I was to see that this place was still open more than 20 years after my first visit. The food was every bit as delicious as I remembered, and the service was genuine hospitality. Definitely try the Jerusalem style gyro, the mint tea served traditional style with fresh mint leaves, and you must get the kunafa - it is the one that I judge all other kunafas by.“
“I came by to eat right after Friday prayer. A busy time. I ordered a shawarma sandwich. Food arrived quickly. The sandwich was overloaded with meat, along with a healthy amount of fixings. I thought it could be a little spicier, fortunately there was some chili sauce on the table.Straightforward and hospitable service.“
“this is the 2nd time we have been here each time we have been here the burgers are the best we have ever eaten, they were seasoned perfectly, you can here the burgers sizzling on the flames as they cook them, they are hands down the best burgers and sides we have ever “
“I ordered falafel for $6.75 with tax. It is ground chickpeas shaped into a ball. They were delicious. But it was missing tzatziki sauce. Anyway, the falafel was the best I've had so far. I've never paid attention to the restaurant due to the terrible exterior. I was surprised by how beautiful and modern Aruba restaurant looks on the inside. The motto is don't judge a book by its cover. My only suggestion is to repaint the outside of the restaurant to look more inviting to new customers .“
“The hummus and grape leaves are the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could give 7 stars. I also had the falafel, babganoush, bread, salad and sautéed veggies. Everything was wonderful but that hummus, y’all! The people working there were very friendly, the food was pretty as well as delicious! As a vegetarian I really appreciate the quality and selection of the vegetarian and vegan options. The decor was very pleasing; the walls were covered in dozens of small, beautiful, unique canvasses each depicting a colorful scene, landscape, still life, etc; that connects to the cultures of Mediterranean region who’s people have given the world, among other things, this delicious cuisine. It had a homey feel that I really enjoyed. A+ experience. I will be returning soon!Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, sautéed veggies, Mediterranean salad, babganoush, dolma, pita.Dietary restrictions: I’m a vegetarian and the options here are wonderful!Parking: Parking was a non-issue.“
“Good pizza for a good price. I tried getting them delivered through grub hub one night but apparently they delivered to the wrong house, so this night I decided to do a takeout order. Pizza had a nice crunch on the bottom and the toppings were fresh“
“Came here twice and have loved every experience. The first time was obviously on a walk home after some drinks. We ordered the lamb/beef combo gyro and chicken tenders with fries. All was tasty, fresh, and hot. Pita bread was soft, and lamb/beef was seasoned and cooked to par.The second time, I strolled in at midnight and ordered a lamb/beef combo with fries.Fries both times were fresh and best yet unsalted. Gyro was just as good as first time. These guys are on par with Jerusalem Cafes truck.Edit- 3rd visitPhilly cheese steak was really good, but not enough portion to justify price.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jerusalem Cafe Liberty and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, clearly a reflection of the fantastic leadership by the owner. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction set a high standard that is hard to match. The quality of the meals served was outstanding, with each dish showcasing a perfect blend of flavors at great prices. It’s rare to find such culinary excellence coupled with affordability. The service was prompt and courteous, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Jerusalem Cafe Liberty truly stands out as a gem in Liberty, thanks to its great meals, excellent service, and a remarkable team.I highly recommend it to anyone looking for their new favorite restaurant. An unforgettable dining experience awaits you!“
“My favorite middle eastern restaurant. Nationally recognized and delicious lentil soup, great baba ganoush, nice hummus with a green chili sauce, good dolmas, etcThe Jasmine's combo is hard to miss. The cauliflower zahra is also quite good.Great options whether you're looking for some veg fare or not.Features: Dining in is open.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes. They generally know what you mean when you order vegan. They will make the Jasmine's Vegetarian Combo vegan - by removing the feta and Krass Pastry and adding a little extra of something else.Really good Middle Eastern food, on par with Holy Land Cafe.“
“If you been for the Tasso's wine tasting you are missing out. It happens the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.Five courses, five wine pairing, live music and belly daning, all for $50 pp, it is a great deal. The chef creates a new menu each moth and you can usually preview the menu on the website under Upcoming Events about a week out.It is a reservation thing so make yours today.“
“The food is all made fresh and you can tell! The house made tzatziki sauce is to die for and the pita bread is so fluffy and delicious. The portions are generous and we will definitely be back l.Kid-friendliness: Our kiddo loved them their large portion of chicken strips and French fries.“
“I've ordered several times through a delivery service, and it's almost always perfect. It's not traditional gyro or sauce really, but it's dang delicious to me! I especially love the caramelized onion hummus and the za'atar chicken. I also love their white sauce, because I'm sensitive to cucumber. So traditional tzatziki sauce is something I have to be careful eating. Add the olives to anything, they're yummy too.Vegetarian options: The falafel platter is really good. We add baba ghanoush, olives, and hummus to it, yum.“
“Despite all the bad jokes and movie one liners about "gas station food" Papou makes it work. This Mediterranean restaurant is located in the convenience store of a small gas station and the food is really good. The gyros are hot and tasty what do you have as a sandwich, or with a side of rice. I especially enjoyed their falafel sandwiches, because it's hard to find falafel in the Kansas City area. People are always friendly and there's a few tables to sit and eat quietly.“
“zaina is the best hair store in all of gaston county. the owner is such a great and jolly person always smiling and friendly... he's also the best at bleaching, styling and customizing wigs. if you are in the local or surrounding area you must check out zaina, not only do they have a variety of different hair, hair products, jewelry, lashes etc they have extremely low prices. they also have a rewards program so you're always saving money. even daily deals i would rate them a million stars if i could and i will always refer everyone to zaina signed lóvé léss on fb“
“Very good & always fresh. Service has always been great as well. I usually place my order online before I pick-up, and it's typically ready when I arrive. Sometimes I may have to wait a couple of mins, but it's usually no longer than that - which is no worries because the food is always hot..I can wait for that. Their truck is usually parked in the same location, which is good bc I know exactly where to go. Convenient if you're Out South/Leawood area. I love their chicken option!“
“Stopped there on the way home one day while visiting my kids and really enjoyed the food and the ambiance!! Wasn't too busy and the system that the have when ordering your food works well even though it's crowded. The food was excellent“
