“I love kitties hamburgers, and have highly reviewed them in the past. I was really looking forward to today to one this Friday afternoon and I have memorized their hours.
Behold, they’re closed until the end of February. Was a very small faded cardboard sign on the door.
If they really cared about their customers, they’d have a big one that you could see from the street without having to park and walk um readable one .
And they would at least update their website.
Guess I’ll have to go to Shake shack this afternoon.“

“This is one of my FAVES to get coffee from. A couple of years ago they had a ‘Cinnamon Toast Crunch’ flavored iced coffee that I was absolutely obsessed with, I went today and asked what might be similar since it hadn’t come back to the menu for awhile, they asked me to give them a second and they came back with a solution to my craving within a minute. They went above and beyond to ask if I wanted cinnamon on top, were super efficient, and so kind! It tastes exactly the same as what I remembered and I’m currently chugging it now. For 2 lg coffees it was only $15! Make a trip over to see them, it’s worth it!!“

“This place is the jewel of the neighborhood and of KCNE. Here, not only good things happen, but they are possible because of the owner’s mission of creating a place for making dreamers’ dream a reality. “In town for a conference at the Convention Center. Hands down the best coffee I had in KC. Went there three days in a row!

Also got the breakfast burrito and Chicken Salad Sandwich. Both were exceptional.

“The restaurant is in a warehouse type building but a lot of effort has been put into giving it a cozy feel. Once more people discover how good the food is, the place should fill up and be more appealing. The food was delicious, portions large, and service friendly and efficient. “FANTASTIC MUSEUM! My daughter and I are both history nuts and love this place! The staff members are very knowledgeable and are so sweet! It was my first trip and I could’ve spent 2 or 3 days in here and still wouldn’t have viewed everything. The sweetest man stopped us as we were exiting and asked us if we saw the letter of the luckiest human ever. Of course we didn’t, we had overlooked it. He took us back in and showed us a letter of a soldier who entered and exited service on the same day…just hours apart. This gentleman loved his job and it showed! “I’m incredibly picky with coffee and tried a few different places during my trip to KC before finding PTs. Far and away the best coffee in the area, I was blown away. I just got their drip coffee light roast and it was clearly fresh and a wall balanced cup. Atmosphere was also fantastic. They have some multi pack pour overs that are perfect for travel and I’m sad that I didn’t find those earlier in the trip! 10/10 will be back next time I’m in town“

“I stopped into Grande Coffee and Market today and was so glad I did. Ricky made me one of the best hot vanilla lattes with oat milk I’ve ever had—smooth, balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. The shop itself has a lot to offer: great coffee and tea, smoothies, fresh breakfast pastries, and even convenient store items like toiletries and pantry staples. The space is charming with a big common area, comfortable lounge chairs, and a genuinely welcoming feel. “The first thing I will say is that this was kind of difficult to find due to the signs not being visible. Once we found our way here, we sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. We ordered Deez Knots as an appetizer and we both really liked them. We both liked the pesto and marinara dips. We shared the Shroomer Boomer 2.0 and we both liked it. The bartender was friendly and helpful when we asked about local places to visit since we’re from out of town. We enjoyed looking at the art gallery on our way out. The vibe is really cool. I do notice a change in the attitude of the staff since about later 2025.

This may be because of any number of things. Around October 22 or 23 there were two bank robberies,first 1:30pm in Waldo area US bank Gregory Boulevard and Wornall Road-last one at 3:30pm a block away UMB Bank 49th & Main Street.

While the wait staff is excellent in a leisurely lunch, yet highly attentive; the sales staff are aggressive as soon as I am finished with the meal.
Even if I go to purchase a special treat not having a meal, and I want to shop. Also the price of chocolate treats were around $97.00 a pound for liquor chocolate truffles in February 2026!I don’t even look at the truffles anymore ( prices may fluctuate but I have noticed it’s unlikely prices go down).

I feel the sales staff rush customers to pay and leave.“

“This place is one in a million!!!! Very hole in the wall, but modern. The double decker tacos are too die for. Also, they have great specials everyday. I had to go back for steak night and the way it's seasoned, just melts in your mouth. Nicole or Nico as she goes by is phenomenal!!! Her service and attention to everything is impeccable!!! I never had an empty cocktail. Check this place out if you're in the area. Nicole will make sure you have a great time and great laughs.“

“My mom and I had a fantastic experience at Cafe Reflections! The price is reasonable. Locally owned. Our server was the daughter to the owner, she was the sweetest! She helped with recommendation specific to our pallet preference. The environment is classy and fun! the music set the mood perfectly for a social meet up with friends/family.
