A couple of years ago they had a ‘Cinnamon Toast Crunch’ flavored iced coffee that I was absolutely obsessed with, I went today and asked what might be similar since it hadn’t come back to the menu for awhile, they asked me to give them a second and they came back with a solution to my craving within a minute. They went above and beyond to ask if I wanted cinnamon on top, were super efficient, and so kind! It tastes exactly the same as what I remembered and I’m currently chugging it now. For 2 lg coffees it was only $15! Make a trip over to see them, it’s worth it!!“

Dan and Robin were not just working behind the bar but they were all over the place helping us with anything we needed. They were incredibly personable all night. Since then, if I am in the area and I need to get work done, it’s becoming more of a place to pop into. The more I get to know about what they offer and the small businesses they support, the more I enjoy becoming a customer there. I also really like that they have some Sugar Free options & I really like their Honey Lavender Matcha too!“

Once more people discover how good the food is, the place should fill up and be more appealing. The food was delicious, portions large, and service friendly and efficient. “FANTASTIC MUSEUM! My daughter and I are both history nuts and love this place! The staff members are very knowledgeable and are so sweet! It was my first trip and I could’ve spent 2 or 3 days in here and still wouldn’t have viewed everything. The sweetest man stopped us as we were exiting and asked us if we saw the letter of the luckiest human ever. Of course we didn’t, we had overlooked it. He took us back in and showed us a letter of a soldier who entered and exited service on the same day…just hours apart. This gentleman loved his job and it showed! We will be back, time and time again!“

“I work downtown and have been trying all the coffee shops near my building to see which one will become my go-to. The coffee was good (just a standard iced latte), but the service and atmosphere leave a bit to be desired. The barista was on his phone the entire time he was making my drink and taking my order, it felt like I was inconveniencing him with my business even though I was the only person in the cafe at the time. There's not a lot of seating options, especially for a group of more than 2 people. It's definitely a grab-it-and-go kind of place. I'll likely visit again since it is so close to my office, and the beverage was fine, but it's not my favorite overall. I'd rather go to the Made in KC cafe a block or so up.“

“We had the fixed price lunch menu. There are many excellent choices for the main dish, two side dishes accompanying it, and dessert. I chose French Onion soup and the arugula salad with pecans, accompanied by Andre's in-house-made dressing. The main course was a fall harvest quiche with potatoes and apples, a locally made goat cheese, baked on a flaky crust. Wowie! Filling, hearty, and beautiful. I finished with a raspberry or strawberry fondant, over alternating layers of crisp pastry and a sweet, creamy filling! Amazing. And that is a generous dollop of fresh whipped cream on the side!“

Ricky made me one of the best hot vanilla lattes with oat milk I’ve ever had—smooth, balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. The space is charming with a big common area, comfortable lounge chairs, and a genuinely welcoming feel.
