“I don't get all these bad reviews this place is great! We eat here a couple times a month and have always been impressed with the taste and quality of the food. In addition you get to see them cooking your food fresh and it usually comes out in less then 10 minutes. I think alot of these bad reviews are just people that are angry about having a rough night at the slots or tables and are taking it out on these very nice people who make excellent food.”

“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “My husband and I decided to drop by for some lunch and we were quite content :) The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute and colorful, while the service friendly and prompt. I ordered the Sumac Chicken Kabob after asking the waitress for a recommendation and my husband ordered the Arayes and fries. They were both flavorful and a good portion size. We would definitely come back when we get another chance!”

“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!”

The hot mocha latte I got was great too! The place was packed and busy but they weee FAST on getting food and drinks out.”

“We accidentally stumbled across the Black Garlic while looking for someplace to eat near the Uptown Theater. What a WONDERFUL discovery we made. Starting with the atmosphere, which had such a cool, sleek vibe. We had the pleasure of having Monica and Terry serve our table. They gave wonderful drink recommendations, and the drinks were outstanding and beautiful. The food… I had the Crab Cakes which were some of the best I have had. My husband enjoyed a dish called Giya which was a pork shoulder with a black mushroom rice. And our friend had the shrimp tibs. All of us were floored at how delicious our food was. We have already recommended to several friends and this is definitely a place we will keep coming back to! This experience was 10/10!”
