Best restaurant in KC, hands down!
I lived in Morgan City Louisiana ,now at the lake ozarks. was happy to find my taste in food. Made me feel at home again. It will be are stop every time we come to KC for a visit planning on the Feb 17 . the food and atmosphere was great. the owner was very friendly. I recommend if you haven't heard or been there to please give it a try. you won't be disappointed

Mudbug Cajun Po' Boys serves amazing food in a humble strip mall location. The po' boys, including the chicken andouille, roast beef, shrimp, sea hog, crawfish, and lobster options, are standouts, and the red beans and rice are consistently delicious. The redfish special and fried basa are well seasoned and cooked perfectly, while the okra and lemon garlic fries are also great choices. The Gumbo and Jambalaya are probably the best ever, with a kick. Portion sizes are generous, and the owners are kind and super nice. The king cake is amazing, and all ingredients are super fresh. The staff is friendly and service is quick. While the atmosphere may not be exceptional, the food is great, making it a solid choice for a casual meal. There’s nothing like this place in KC—reasonably priced and highly recommended.
