Joe's KC BBQ Reviews
This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner...read full review
Long lines but worth the wait me and my husband always stop here when we go to KC best barbecue we have eaten and have tried many
Expensive and didn’t get much. More bread than meat. Cole slaw was bland. Don’t see what the hubbub is about. Didn’t even get a chance to finish my meal and the guys already clearing the table. Had to grab my drink back.

Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que is a well-known BBQ spot that draws many visitors to Kansas City. The restaurant offers a variety of meats including brisket, pulled pork, sausage, burnt ends, and smoked turkey, all praised for their delicious flavor. Customers often enjoy popular side dishes like mac n cheese and chicken gumbo. The service is quick and efficient, with a patio available for outdoor dining. The Z-Man sandwich with brisket is a highlight, known for its smoky flavor and perfect sauce. Ribs are described as very tender, and the mac and cheese and fries are also highly enjoyed. While there can be a long line, it moves quickly, and the food makes the wait worthwhile. The dining area is clean, but seating inside can be limited and tight. Ordering ahead on the app is recommended, and curbside pick-up is a popular option for avoiding lines. Recent reviews highlight the chicken Z-man as a favorite, with some customers preferring it over the brisket version. Others mention that the brisket, while good, is thin sliced, but still flavorful. The mac & cheese is noted for its amazing cheese pull, and the banana pudding is considered the best ever. One customer appreciated the takeout counter on the gas station side, which saved time for those in a rush. Overall, Joe's KC BBQ provides a friendly service and a menu full of delicious options, making it a top choice for BBQ lovers.
