“I love this place so much I wish I could gatekeep it. The atmosphere is so comfortable, it looks like the staff actually takes good care of the plants, lots of seating, lots of plug ins for those laptops. The coffe is like 6/10, I'd go somewhere else but the vibe is so nice I just get a mid coffee to sit and study. I've had many coffee dates here and long conversations with friends and family. It gets crowded but that doesn't bother me“

“Great hole in the wall spot! Hidden gem in the west bottoms. Would not even know it was there without google. Walk in order your food at the counter, wait a few minutes and be prepared to be surprised by the super tasty burger and the shareable sides!“

“5/20/2026: I went thru here with a friend of mine cuz we was both hungry and had no money, and we wasn't wanting to steal food or do a dine and dash lol It was actually rather good for a soup kitchen and the service was great. By the time we had arrived there wasn't a line of people waiting to get in and the actual dining room wasn't too packed either. Would definitely go back again“

“The restaurant is in a warehouse type building but a lot of effort has been put into giving it a cozy feel. Once more people discover how good the food is, the place should fill up and be more appealing. The food was delicious, portions large, and service friendly and efficient. It was my first trip and I could’ve spent 2 or 3 days in here and still wouldn’t have viewed everything. The sweetest man stopped us as we were exiting and asked us if we saw the letter of the luckiest human ever. Of course we didn’t, we had overlooked it. He took us back in and showed us a letter of a soldier who entered and exited service on the same day…just hours apart. This gentleman loved his job and it showed! “I’m incredibly picky with coffee and tried a few different places during my trip to KC before finding PTs. Far and away the best coffee in the area, I was blown away. I just got their drip coffee light roast and it was clearly fresh and a wall balanced cup. Atmosphere was also fantastic. They have some multi pack pour overs that are perfect for travel and I’m sad that I didn’t find those earlier in the trip! 10/10 will be back next time I’m in town“
