“Best crab rangoon on 7 Highway! General Tso lunch/dinner is excellent! The eggrolls are perfect! They are always gracious and kind to me. Their prices are good. There can be a bit of a language barrier sometimes, but for me that's a stamp of authenticity.

“The food here is really good chinese. It reminds me of the sit down chinese restaurants that used to exist. Be prepared though, when you walk in the front door it smells pretty ripe like an Asian fish market. Also there is no dine in just carry out.“

“I went to order they were really busy. My order got a little messed up so I called them and they made things right. I talked to Rebecca she was extremely nice and understanding. I would highly recommend this place as food is great. Portions are amazing. Just double check ur order b4 u leave.“

I had the orange chicken with fried rice and. Crab rangoon. Crab rangoon is a sweeter Crab rangoon which I tend to like. Everything was piping hot when it came out and fresh. The orange chicken was crispy, had big chunks of chicken, and was not overly sweet.

I have avoided this place ever since I have lived here due to the poor reviews, but don't listen to them. Try it out, certainly the best chinese food that I have had in blue springs.“

“I truly love this buffet love the street tacos that are part of the buffect now and the crab legs in the crayfish is awsome love there mexican selection the workers and owners are amazing and so welcoming to our large family we come at least once a week“

“I don't live in Independence anymore, but even from the West Coast where Asian cuisine is supposed to be top notch, I still think about Golden Rice almost everyday. I love their chicken, and their green beans are so damn good that I forget how much I hated green beans as a kid. Like... I HATED green beans.

“Son-in-law asked if I wanted Chinese food as they were ordering take out. Sure so I added to their order. Never been to Lins and discovered the food is excellent! Fresh and hot. Servings were plentiful for the 4 of us. Should had taken pictures but there are plenty of others in the reviews. I took one of their take out menu's and will order again! 谢谢“

“Good food good size portions. And they are very nice to take the vegetables out of my beef with broccoli. I did stop getting the egg rolls, price went up & are always over cooked in my opinion. And crab ragoon doesn't seem to be as full as it used to be but I think that's on the supplier not the restaurant. Or maybe me I ate so many each time lol. But don't get me wrong they are still very good & the egg rolls are too! I just choose to put my money into something else. Like extra REALLY GOOD rice & an extra sauce to go with it.“

“We ordered on the phone 20 min before they closed (I know I know we hate doing this but nothing else was opened!), and they got our order done and bagged in 5 minutes. It was so hot and delicious. We got chicken lo mein, garlic sauce and broccoli with added tofu and some hot and sour soup, everything was great but the hot and sour soup wasn’t quite to my liking but was fine.“

“All the road work on 24 Highway has finished! So it's not the issue getting in and out as it was in the last few months April through May 2026. Really great Chinese food. Fast, friendly. My favorite is the almond chicken. Don't know why others don't seem to either have it or or to do it right but Cathay's hits it out of the park. Looks like some people might be shying away because of the road work but it's gone now.. go there soon!“

“I had a fantastic experience at Panda Express and felt it was worth taking a moment to recognize the team there.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly fast, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can immediately tell when a team takes pride in what they do, and that was absolutely the case here.

What really stood out to me was a small moment that spoke volumes about their customer service. My two-year-old accidentally spilled some rice on the floor, and I started cleaning it up myself. One of the employees quickly came over, kindly told me not to worry about it, and insisted they would take care of it. That level of awareness and willingness to step in—even when I was already handling it—shows a team that is not only well-trained but truly cares about the customer experience.

It’s clear this location has strong management and a culture built around real, genuine American customer service—something that’s getting harder to find these days.

“Food is always fresh and hot. I’m a vegetarian so I only ever get sides. Prices are really good. Make sure to check your bag before pulling off if you’re in drivethru, though because I’ve never gotten my sauce or napkins until I remind them. It’s really nice inside!! Comfortable seating“

“Food is very good. Area is clean. Could use a little outdoor improvement at the front of the building facing Noland RD to make it more appealing. Maybe some painting of bathroom stalls, etc. Other than that, recommended.“
