“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.”

“I ordered from here for the first time and did pickup. I ordered the mango lassi, Chicken Korma, some fries, and Garlic naan. Every single thing was so delicious. I will 100% be back. The food was hot and delicious and was ready quickly. The mango lassi was super creamy and delicious. “This is one of those coffee shops you wish existed but didn’t know they did. You get your coffee and can wander through their plants or go sit in the middle of the greenhouse on a soft couch and talk with friends. 3 of us had infants and the atmosphere was so nice for the babies as well, quiet and easy to take care of them as we hung out. I definitely am coming back as soon as I have a chance! Their vanilla caramel latte was delicious and their cinnamon roll was a hit as well! If you’re in KC, you need to stop in here.”

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.”

“Last week I stopped into Deviant Kava in downtown Parkville and tried one of their specialty lattes — the Samoan Hotspot. It’s a mix of Ghirardelli chocolate with a little serrano pepper kick, which sounds unusual but was actually really good. The shop itself is inside one of Parkville’s historic houses at 405 Main St, which makes it a cozy place to sit by the window and enjoy a drink while walking through downtown. One of my favorite parts of working in real estate here is getting to explore local spots like this and share them with people who are discovering Parkville for the first time. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth stopping in.”
