“Place is clean. The food where this place shines. Taco taste was 100% better than any Mexican restaurant i have been to in K.C.. Now about the enchiladas... it was very good... sauce was good and finally I found a place that served it as it should be... cheese inside was fully melted and cooked perfectly. My hats off to the staff for providing an experience above their competition. Much appreciated 👏“

“GREAT food but what makes this place really exceptional is the outstanding service. Not only is the wait staff there excellent but in addition, you always see a manager nearby if you should have any problems which I never have after going there for the last 10 years. I highly recommend it especially on their I know I know weekly special days. Great value, great taste, good service. What more could you ask for!“

“When I lived in Bonner, I would occasionally treat myself to Abelardo’s and always loved it. Out of all the local late-night Mexican restaurants, Abelardo’s is my favorite.
When my boyfriend would come in town, he always wanted to go get it. Now that we live in Iowa, we always get it when we visit Kansas!
We will get it from the locations here in Iowa as well but the burritos are smaller and the green sauce and queso is different and I personally don’t like it nearly as much as this location in Kansas.
The folks there are also very nice and welcoming.

“Nice and friendly atmosphere with more tables than parking spots ; plenty of room inside .
A great Mexican food restaurant with a Seafood Specialty that is a Good addition to the Kansas City market .
We ordered the Loaded Fries with shrimp and usually split an entrée, but it was so big that we had to take some home . It was Very tasty with lots of shrimp.
Delicious Queso that had a strong flavor of jalapeño without the Strong Bite .... just medium strength. Not cheap, but what seafood is ? Very happy with the experience.“

“This place is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cooking they serve is so good. I am always happy to have a decent meal in this place. Highly recommended.“
