Keeps their online menu up to date unlike many other restaurants. Great values to be had if you keep track of the drink / food specials, especially with the half off appetizers 8-close S-Th.“

“I recently tried this place out with my husband on a Saturday evening...we got seated right away...nice clean environment a little strange for a Mexican restaurant felt more like a bar lol but other than that we had an excellent server Andrew... very nice and attentive. ..Food was delicious!.. I got the chicken fajitas. .hubby got the pastor burrito. ..and also we shared the tres lechs cake for dessert...all in all I give our experience a 4 out of 5...we will definitely be back !“

Who would I wanted was an easily found on their new self ordering system, and she took care of ordering for me.Food came out on only a few minutes and was delicious. “The counter service wasted no time and getting our food to us but seeing that they only have three items on the menu, they should be that fast. For a woodfired grill, I was surprised at how little flavor the chicken had. Was it better than normal, yes but it wasn't the grilling that I remember from my youth in Texas when they would use Mesquite and the flavor was amazing. But I guess in Sinaloa style, this is what you get.“

“Los Alamos Cocina is easily the best authentic Mexican food in KC. The menudo and pozole is best ive ever had and the chili rolo and verde are both outstanding, tastes exactly like homemade because they are. Wonderful family owned stop in a historic area of KC. oh and dont forget to treat yourself to the best chillaquiles and eggs you'll ever have. Delicious! The catering we got for our New Years feast was a huge hit as well: tamales, pork verde and menudo. EXCELLENTE!“

“🚨GUACAMOLE CHANGE! We’ve been coming to Ponaks for 30 years. The guacamole has aways been one of our favorites. Today we ordered it and immediately noticed something was different. We asked the server and he confirmed that they have changed their recipe, and it’s for the worst. They’ve added “filler” by putting pico and other ingredients into it. It’s not even close to what it was. I hope they don’t start changing their food and Margaritas!!! There is a reason people keep coming back year after year! Please dont mess with perfection Ponaks!“

Know that you order at kiosks, so there is no employee that will receive your order/interface with you until they bring the food out. It was a bit confusing because we didn't receive a confirmation that the order was sent, but it came out relatively quickly. “I have eaten at Manny's several times in the past but I reckon I only tried tacos. While meeting up for a mutual friend bday dinner I decided to try something different. I ordered the fried burrito w carnitas and it was DELICIOUS!!!! the rice was really good too . I also tried a frozen melon margarita and it was ok, not much alcohol in it. Overall it was a yummy drink and dinner.
