“I'm an IPA guy. Murder Mittens and (especially) Fly High Momma are really good, but I really wanna shout out the dill pickle sour. I'm not normally a sours guy, but this isn't overpowering at all. “We had Garozzo’s cater our rehearsal dinner at Boulevard Brewing. From the very beginning they were extremely helpful getting the entire dinner together. They held a tasting at their restaurant downtown, where we were able to sample a lot of their different courses on their catering menu. This was a great way to find exactly what we wanted for our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic and they were constantly in touch with us through the entire process. They kept us up to date through the event. We highly recommend Garozzo’s to anyone needing any event catered.“

“Cascone's catered a recent wedding here at The Hilltop and we were so thoroughly impressed with their service. Dinner ran about 30 minutes early and within seconds they were ready. Update - Recently visited and saw the Health Department pull up. This could be good or this could be bad :-) They came out with a sack full of food, so if the Health department will eat here....

The best tenderloin sandwich I've ever had. Far from the traditional super sized tenderloin, it's 3 hamburger sized patty tenderloins. It's deep fried with a tempura batter, using vodka so that it evaporates when it hits the hot oil leaving a light and crispy batter. This process works so well that a bar in the bottoms, copied and is making sliders the same way. Make sure you get it spicy, a homemade sauce. I can also recommend the catfish, it's up there with the best I've had. You must get the tator tots too. Before Kitty's I didn't know there was a rating for tots. They are crispy on the outside and creamy hashbrown like inside. Truly amazing! I also think they change their oil on a regular basis, not trying to every last fry out of it. If you're looking for a phone number to call ahead, you won't find 1. They said too many people calling in and not picking up orders. There is a seating area outside and I've visited on 95deg days and it's comfortable under the carport canopy. Remember 2 things... Cash only and only open 9-5pm, so don't expect to get something on the way home.“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. “We decided to try Blue Bird Bistro on my birthday. We went on a Monday evening and made reservations, however, this particular night no reservations were needed and we were seated right away. We got there at 7:30 and stayed until close, it was so relaxing and we didn't feel rushed. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was perfect. The food was a little more bland than I expected but it was still good and hot and fresh. There were plenty of gluten free and dairy free options for me.
The cocktails were great!
Recommend the catfish bites appetizer.
All in all it was a great experience and we will definitely visit again.

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

We ALWAYS get the rock n roll but i was adventurous this time and ordered something with jalapeños which I cannot tolerate! But I wanted the Depth charge and I was so surprised I barely could detect the spice!! I'd order that one again for sure.

“Went for a one hour tour. The format for the tour was one of the best I've ever been to. They include KC and US beer history, beer samples, and mix in some humor to boot. A fantastic bang for the buck, the tour was $33 for two people, and this included multiple free samples each, The beer here is some of the best you'll find anywhere in this country, the selection and flavor profiles are 5 Star all the way. Expectations exceeded!“
