“Stopped in on a Saturday to try tacos for the KCK Taco Trail and omg we were blown away. We tried the Asada and the Al Pastor Tacos. The Pastor was only okay (needed salt) but that Asada might be the best we’ve tried so far! So good with perfect seasoning, great flavor, and excellent steak. We liked that it came with red onions and plenty of cilantro. Both salsas were good, one was a mild green salsa that was amazing and one was a super spicy chili oil. That one was no joke! Super hot but great flavor. This is a counter service restaurant and they didn’t have beer but we did get a big Coke. Will definitely return to try more Asada Tacos!!!“

“This mom & pop authentic Mexican restaurant operation in KCK serves delicious wood fire grilled chicken with rice, pinto beans, salsa, with pickled red onions & tortillas. You get a bang for your buck. Pinto beans are cooked with chicharrones & hot dogs...yummm! It's simple, tasty with no frills. It's crowd pleaser!????????“

“One of my favorite places to eat. Food is delicious and fresh always. Best known for the burgers but have other delicious plates. Their aguas frescas are…AMAZING! The pepino agua was my favorite! Service was great. Got packed with to-go orders but still managed to tend the tables.“

“Food is delicious and priced well. I ordered a Torta de Pastor, Burrito Loco, and a taco de Asada and everything was very good. Only 3 tables so seating is a bit tight and tables are close together so you might bump into someone. Regardless, this spot is worth trying.“

“The food tastes great and authentic. You get the feel of Mexico but you're still in the USA. The cooks are working hard. The prices are reasonable and portions large. The bowl of menudo soup was humungous. The service is spot on. Yes they have coffee! They open at 8:30 am and close at 3:30 pm. Atmosphere will have u wanting to salsa! ?
Parking: About 10 spots, but there is plenty of on street parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is right at sidewalk level. Easy entry for a wheel chair or a wheel barrow, just wheel yourself in! Lol No judgements here!“

“We absolutely love Amigos! Great food, great prices and friendly atmosphere. Better by far than most Mexican or Tex Mex places in terms of quality, at the same or lower prices. Try the Tuesday taco special, and the charros beans!“

“The menu is simple while offering so many options on proteins. The food was so good! My initial measure of the authenticity of a Mexican restaurant is the level of heat in their sauces. A medium heat should have a strong kick, and the hot sauce should be a flavor experience beyond the heat factor. Their sauces were great! The prices are great and the food is really good! Love that they offer such variety without making it complicated!“

“The lady taking orders was standoffish, I only knew a few words of Spanish. That seemed to annoy her. The cook corrected her attitude and knew exactly what I wanted.. she eased up a little bit.. (with that being said) customers spending money at any establishments that don't speak English or Spanish.. should always be made to feel comfortable and welcome to support any business.. simple math. Welcoming business + happy customer = $$$ thriving business. P.S. remind your staff to be friendly. The chicken was flavorful, fresh, and hot .would recommend.“

“Just moved here from SoCal and in dire need of some Mexican food like from home. Although they don’t have exactly what I wanted, with modifications I was able to order what we would call a California Burrito. I asked for the San Diego Burrito with sour cream and pico de Gallo added. It was perfect! Tasted like home. Also, loved that there was a salsa bar.
This will be our New Mexican Joint! Excited to try the other items on the menu as well.
I’d like to say I’ve tried a few other joints so far and this one is the closest to being a “California” Mexican joint.“

“KCK has an amazing promotion with their Mexican restaurants, and this is one that we explored as part of the Taco Trail. It really was good, the only problem is that it has limited seating and with social distancing, only three tables were available for customers to sit and enjoy their meal inside. The meal itself was really good and very authentic. Everything is served in disposable containers and some of the meals come with a small tray of sliced cucumbers and a grilled chili pepper. No chips and salsa, but I understand the veggies are more authentic (something I learned as part of the other Taco Trail restaurants do this as well!). Place your order by reading the posted menu and pay at the counter. They call our your order and hand it to you through the window between the kitchen and dining space.“

“Taco’s are good but burritos and mexican chile is great! I have ate here for years and have learned that getting help is hard. I advise you to take a trip and try out Jalisco’s!“

“I had a very good experience here for lunch today. I had been here in the past when it was under different names, and it was my favorite place! Today, I gave this place a try even though there weren't any cars in the parking lot. It was basically the same menu from years past and I was able to order my favorite again and it was delicious! :) Actually, the pork appeared even more tender than before. I will definitely be coming back and I will tell my friends to give it a try and not judge on an empty parking lot.“

“Really good little restaurant / shop!
Clean, nice, excellent food.
The tacos were stuffed & pastor was perfect. Some places char it too much so it's not tender, just right here. Guacamole was some of the best I've had and the roasted peppers, limes, & radish is a nice bonus.
The picture doesn't do it justice, but even the take out wrapping is done with real care.“

“Great all around place to eat amazing Mexican Food, and it's CLEAN!! Those nice ladies that work the restaurant run a the right kind of tight ship and it helps tremendously for the fresh food experience. I definitely recommend this place ❤️?❤️
Parking: Limited parking sometimes, but it's worth driving up the street and walking a bit to be able to enjoy the fresh food they provide.
Kid-friendliness: Kiddos are totally okay to be at this establishment
Wheelchair accessibility: Only from the parking lot, but not from the street unfortunately. They'd be happy to bring your food out if you called it in, and let them know the situation. Very nice staff that work here ?“
