“I showed up at 10:30 pm with two drenched teen boys. We'd just come from a World Cup match and we wanted to eat and watch the end of the Team USA match. They took fantastic care of us. Service was friendly and kind, world cup atmosphere was great, and the food was fantastic! I had the best Reuben I've had west of the Mississippi, and the Alfredo was also excellent. I gave four stars only because one kid said his burger was dry. This place is a gem.“

“Checked out the place because I loved what I had seen online. I was greeted promptly and efficiently at the hostess stand. I was quickly seated. I reviewed the menu and my server greeted me quickly. I asked her for her recommendation. She suggested the bourbon glaze burger. The burger was juicy flavorful and well seasoned. The server was available but not pushy. The manager also checked to be sure things were satisfactory. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely return. If i were to make one suggestion, it would to not put all the garnish on the bottom bun.“

“I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Weston and it is totally worth a drive out from KC. We visited for a bachelorette trip event but I plan on coming back. We have also been to Green Dirt on Oak which I also recommend for a date night out.

The staff were charming and helpful. The wine and food were delicious (especially the cheese). We met the owner who gave us a tour of the sheep farm and had a wonderful time talking to her.

We had a number of friends with different eating restrictions visiting and the kitchen made sure everyone had something delicious to eat (vegetarian, celiac, lactose-intolerant)“

“First time visiting this establishment. I've been to plenty of restaurants, and those that know me know I'm BIG on service. So, I sit at the bar this afternoon for lunch. Courtney who was the bartender, was the best I've seen the way she handled her regular customers, along with new patrons like myself. She was phenomenal!

The beer list is mediocre, there is box/can wine, they have all of the mid-tier liquor selections and a few top tier bottles per category. Pool tables are coin operated. Plenty of seating not a ton of parking. Tons of tvs for sports. Newly renovated roof area. Trivia on Wednesdays.“

“We ate there Saturday afternoon and they weren't overly busy. Two of us got the shrimp platter with fries and onion rings. Unfortunately, the shrimp and hush puppies were burnt. They were so overcooked they weren't moist at all, dry as can be. The waitress forgot to bring the malt vinegar for our friends fish platter. Then she ordered a mule beer and the waitress never did return with that either. Food used to be great. Hopefully this was just a bad day. We'll give them another chance.“

“We were lucky enough to catch wing Wednesday on the rooftop patio. The garlic parm wings were 10/10 & came with carrots and ranch. It was $9 for 6. Shots are enormous but honestly tasted more like mixer than liquor. Will def be back for the wings though!“

“🚨GUACAMOLE CHANGE! We’ve been coming to Ponaks for 30 years. The guacamole has aways been one of our favorites. Today we ordered it and immediately noticed something was different. We asked the server and he confirmed that they have changed their recipe, and it’s for the worst. They’ve added “filler” by putting pico and other ingredients into it. It’s not even close to what it was. I hope they don’t start changing their food and Margaritas!!! There is a reason people keep coming back year after year! Please dont mess with perfection Ponaks!“

“We attended a private event for approximately 50 guests at Austin's on Lone Elm this weekend. The taco bar was quite tasty, and stocked repeatedly for our group as needed. While the party was fun, it was ever more memorable due to our two servers, Mikaela and Jeremy. These two were so fun, exuberant and hard working professionals. Their constant smiles while keeping up with the drink orders with precision was fantastic! They were go getters from the start and made an already fun day even better.
