“Ate here last night and this restaurant is a "must try!" I had the 12 oz. KC Strip, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and... for dessert, apple caramel bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was to die for! The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but aside from that, it was delightful!“

“I have really looked forward to going to this restaurant and have followed them on social media for quite some time. It's a little out of the ways for us so we don't normally go to this area for anything but decided to give it a shot today. The place was not busy and we were informed that it's best to have a reservation even though there was no wait. We were seated by the bar area and waited while watching other guys get served and made eye contact with the bartenders several times who were assisting other guests that arrived after us only to be ignored. The experience was extremely disappointing and we didn't stay to order as no one came to offer coffee or water let alone order breakfast. Hopefully you have a better experience but we will not be back.“

“We set a reservation with The Blue Moose two days in advance for a party of 30 composed of my daughter's soccer team and parental entourage. Marla and the staff took great care of us with prompt service and delicious food. The Blue Moose is a great choice for any group coming over from the Garmin Soccer Complex. Five stars all the way, and thanks again for the great meal.“

“I visited Hemma Hemma on two separate occasions; once to try their food and the other their coffee/tea. The space has a nice welcoming feel with the cafe nooked to the left as soon as you walk in and the dining seating to the right. There is plenty of space for indoor and outdoor dining and there are bistro style chairs in the front for those who want to grab a coffee and work.
I was extremely impressed with the vegan options they have and decided to try the Cauliflower wrap with fries. This was one of the best wraps I'd ever tasted-the cauliflower was seasoned well, the beet hummus had a touch of sweetness that balanced the savory in the cauliflower, and the fried shallots were the best ingredient to top it all off with. The fries were hot, well-seasoned, and had a crunch to them which is exactly how I like my fries. I would definitely rate this meal a 10/10 and can't wait to return to try another vegan option.
My second visit was a drink only; great Cinnamon Roll Chai with oat milk but I paid dearly for it; iced drinks come one size (I was told 16oz but it looks closer to 12oz) and of course there’s an upcharge for alternative milks ($1) and specialty/seasonal syrups ($1.50). After taxes and BEFORE tip, my total was around $9.50. A little on the pricey side for a Chai concentrate and likely something I wouldn't order again. But I would love to return and try some of their other lattes!“

“The food & service were impeccable. The noise level was a detraction. It was hard to hear my husband when he was speaking, due to a large group of people at an adjacent table. We had to lean toward each other to hear when one of us was talking. Otherwise, it was a good experience.“

“I have lived in the KC area all of my life, not sure how I never knew of this place. Really cool little farm to table restaurant. I went with 2 of my nephews today and we loved it. I had the Steak and Eggs Benedict and it was perfect. My nephews had the Salmon Scramble and the Huevos Burrito, and they both said they were great. We will be back.

Today was my second trip here and it was as good as it was the first time, but I had to get the steak and eggs benedict again. I went with my sister and her husband and three kids and all of them loved it. And I will say Adam was one of the best servers I've ever had.“

However, I was told by the front-line lady that because it was 15 minutes before closing I had to place my order to go. There were people there, still eating. Were they going to be asked to leave at closing? In the past I was never denied dine-in service.“

“We were there for the Sunday Chiefs game and also to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had the back room for our group, and our server, Devin P, was fantastic!! He remembered our names, was very attentive and friendly, and everything came out exactly as ordered. I can't say enough good things about his service and kindness. “Friends took me out for my 91st birthday and I requested Paulo's. Been there many times for 45 years. Always order chicken Piccata. Had garlic bread which was excellent. My order came and There was about a full cup of mashed potatoes with a small chicken breast on it. About 2". Chicken was not very tender and I ate the lunch in about 5 bites. Cost $16. no veggies or salad. Gentleman came over and asked how everything was and I told him . Portion was so small. He was very nice and took my lunch price off the bill. I will be back one more time because I really always liked it there. Also had lunch at 2:30 and no one else there but 3 people at the bar. I hope there is some improvement in the portions of some memu items in the future.“

Great service and people that seem to love their jobs made our experience memorable celebrating birthdays & an anniversary. Food was excellent and the 10-layer carrot cake knocked it out of the park. Needless to say, we will back! Coming in from Wisconsin and ending our trip at Ocean Prime made the weekend!“

We all loved what we got - summer ingredient salad, red chili sweet potatoes, both kids got chicken, gluten free Mac n cheese, and broccoli, and my friend got the chicken enchiladas. I can't wait to get that salad again if it's still available! Service was so friendly while ordering, but we did have to wait longer for one of the meals (and ask the guy dropping off orders for it.)
