“Ate here last night and this restaurant is a "must try!" I had the 12 oz. KC Strip, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and... for dessert, apple caramel bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was to die for! The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but aside from that, it was delightful!“

“Just happened to stumble across this place and so glad we did! I was a little worried after reading some of the other reviews but this place really blew us out of the water, including my super picky and hard to please 12yo daughter, which never happens. We had fried okra & fried pickle apps, both delicious and loved by everyone. The shrimp and grits were amazing and they even added a fried egg on top at my request; the smothered chicken with brussel sprouts and green beans were also wonderful. My kid said she really liked the peach chicken and waffles which is actually incredibly high praise from her. She also loved her golden mule mocktail and the blue mountain coffee was honestly the best coffee I’ve had in a while. Lastly, I can’t say enough great things about our server Colin. His service was wonderful, very attentive without being overbearing. Could not recommend this place more highly and can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. I’d eat here again tomorrow!“

Marla and the staff took great care of us with prompt service and delicious food. The Blue Moose is a great choice for any group coming over from the Garmin Soccer Complex. “Everything about our experience was amazing. Just wanted to come shout out the waitress that took care of a large company party today from 4-6. I didn’t catch her name, but she was so professional, quick, talented, friendly, and all around one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. “Are you looking for a breakfast burrito that isn't overloaded with one particular ingredient, packs flavor, and is held together by a Yoli tortilla? THEN LOOK NO FURTHER. Seriously. I'm a snob when it comes to breakfast burritos, I want fluffy eggs, I want seasoned potatoes, I want thick bacon that is well distributed and not greasy. This burrito has it all + a aioli dipping sauce that is spicy and creamy and delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Added a cinnamon roll on the side because, duh.“

“First time going here and could not have been happier. To start, our server Ashley was simply amazing. Very attentive and answered every question we had, and made some amazing recommendations. “I want there for dinner during restaurant week and was blown away by the food. I had a pear salad, grilled mahi and some type of Bailey's cheesecake type dessert. Every course was very flavorful and i couldn't help telling my husband throughout our meal how delicious it was. I also had a pomegranate martini, which was also incredible. “I have been eating here for years and food and service is usually very good. I am never sure of their new hours since Covid. However, I was told by the front-line lady that because it was 15 minutes before closing I had to place my order to go. There were people there, still eating. Were they going to be asked to leave at closing? In the past I was never denied dine-in service.“

“Stopped in around 7pm on a Saturday after a Royals game. It was busy but a few tables open. First impression was not good as the gentlemen who seated us seemed mad at the world and barely spoke but things went uphill from there. Our server was great, very helpful and friendly.

I had the pork tenderloin sandwich that had a tenderloin that was twice the size of the bun and tasted awesome. One of the best I've ever had. My wife also enjoyed her French dip and our drinks were also good. Definitely a place we'd return.“

“First time visiting this establishment. I've been to plenty of restaurants, and those that know me know I'm BIG on service. So, I sit at the bar this afternoon for lunch. Courtney who was the bartender, was the best I've seen the way she handled her regular customers, along with new patrons like myself. She was phenomenal!

Now back to the food. I had the tacos, along with a side of fries. The tacos were amazing! The atmosphere was great!“

“Friends took me out for my 91st birthday and I requested Paulo's. Been there many times for 45 years. Always order chicken Piccata. Had garlic bread which was excellent. My order came and There was about a full cup of mashed potatoes with a small chicken breast on it. About 2". Chicken was not very tender and I ate the lunch in about 5 bites. Cost $16. no veggies or salad. Gentleman came over and asked how everything was and I told him . Portion was so small. He was very nice and took my lunch price off the bill. I will be back one more time because I really always liked it there. Also had lunch at 2:30 and no one else there but 3 people at the bar. I hope there is some improvement in the portions of some memu items in the future.“
