New American Restaurants near Lees Summit, MO

“All I can say is WOW! My husband & I went here for the first time last Friday and from the moment we stepped it we had the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Kansas City area. Our server was Kortney and she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Our drinks were always refilled at the halfway point, she checked on us at all of the perfect times and it was clear she was on top of it! She was friendly, attentive, & provided some seriously top-notch service. We ordered the crap dip to start and oh my goodness it was so delicious we were tempted to order another or. The dip was overflowing the bowl and everything was so FRESH. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and he said it was literally melting in his mouth. I ordered the roots burger and was impressed that someone could take a cheeseburger & make it THAT GOOD. We will absolutely be back! From the atmosphere to the service to the food - EVERY single aspect exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this place enough!“

“Walked into Cooper’s Hawk for the first time not really knowing what to expect, and I’m glad I did. I love sweet wines, so finding something that actually matches my taste can be hit or miss, but the Spritzy Sangria Strawberry Rhubarb was incredible. Sweet, refreshing, lightly sparkling, and just easy to enjoy from the first sip.

Big shoutout to Alec B. for being awesome. He took the time to let me do a wine tasting, listened to what I liked, and pointed me toward the perfect bottle. Super cool guy, very knowledgeable, and made the whole experience welcoming and fun instead of overwhelming.
