“We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond. India, the Event Manager, was so helpful with the planning of the room design, food menu, and beverage menu. Everything I requested she delivered on - the perfect layout of the room to accommodate the rehearsal dinner followed by the welcome reception to the entire menu being gluten and dairy free. She answered every email in a timely manner and met with me multiple times to over questions I had. She was so great to work with. The food was delicious! Every dish from appetizers to desserts was beautifully presented and so flavorful - I didn't know GF/DF could be so delicious. We have received so many compliments about the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff was so professional. They know how to work an event - incredibly efficient and attentive. Our guests were well taken care of. The entire event ran so smoothly. If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Rye Leawood - amazing food, outstanding service and an incredible experience. Our event was unforgettable. “Are you looking for a breakfast burrito that isn't overloaded with one particular ingredient, packs flavor, and is held together by a Yoli tortilla? THEN LOOK NO FURTHER. Seriously. I'm a snob when it comes to breakfast burritos, I want fluffy eggs, I want seasoned potatoes, I want thick bacon that is well distributed and not greasy. This burrito has it all + a aioli dipping sauce that is spicy and creamy and delicious. 10/10 would recommend. Added a cinnamon roll on the side because, duh.“

“Had a great experience at Yard House downtown. The food was phenomenal and everything came out exactly as expected. Our server, Aaron, was very attentive and did a great job throughout the meal. The entire staff was friendly and even changed the TVs so we could watch the Olympics, which was much appreciated. Excellent service and atmosphere—would definitely come back.“

The menu changes everyday so. I had what you may not get to have.

“We did the distillery tour followed by the Mad Hatter speakeasy pop up. The tour was quite enjoyable and our guide Tony was awesome! There was a great selection of cocktails at the Mad Hatter and we enjoyed them all. Would recommend both the tour and the speakeasy.“

“My wife and I’ve been coming to the drum room for decades. We really love this fun hotel bar with a ton of history. Our latest adventure transpired on Easter weekend 2026.

We encountered a lovely bartender by the name of Jennifer, who was super kind and helped us do a little tasting of some different spirits we were interested in.

And she crafted our usual cocktails deftly. She even gave us a tip on how to get into another restaurant that we wanted to snag a reservation for.

Jennifer’s great service was appreciated and very well regarded by my wife and me.

Vicky, our server read the table perfectly throughout the meal. Relaxed atmosphere, upscale feeling but not outrageous prices.

“I want there for dinner during restaurant week and was blown away by the food. I had a pear salad, grilled mahi and some type of Bailey's cheesecake type dessert. Every course was very flavorful and i couldn't help telling my husband throughout our meal how delicious it was. I also had a pomegranate martini, which was also incredible.
