“We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond. India, the Event Manager, was so helpful with the planning of the room design, food menu, and beverage menu. Everything I requested she delivered on - the perfect layout of the room to accommodate the rehearsal dinner followed by the welcome reception to the entire menu being gluten and dairy free. She answered every email in a timely manner and met with me multiple times to over questions I had. She was so great to work with. The food was delicious! Every dish from appetizers to desserts was beautifully presented and so flavorful - I didn't know GF/DF could be so delicious. We have received so many compliments about the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff was so professional. They know how to work an event - incredibly efficient and attentive. Our guests were well taken care of. The entire event ran so smoothly. If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Rye Leawood - amazing food, outstanding service and an incredible experience. Our event was unforgettable. “The Anter Room absolutely exceeded expectations. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour, but the standout of the night was, surprisingly, the carrots. They were perfectly cooked with an incredible balance of smoky, sweet and spicy flavours – easily one of the best vegetable dishes I’ve had in a long time.

The dumplings were silky, delicate and generously topped with an addictive crunchy seasoning that made each bite even better. The scallops were cooked perfectly and paired with fresh, vibrant accompaniments that really let the seafood shine.

From the first plate to the last, everything was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated. Combined with the relaxed atmosphere, attentive service and great drinks, it made for a fantastic dining experience.

“Calling FIFA — welcome to KC. There are many great restaurants in town, but this is the best one imo. Fresh ingredients, elevated in-house sauces and dressings — Hemma Hemma has it all. Amazing and delicious food that is good for you. Owned by a woman who is a professionally trained chef. Doesn’t get any better. Great atmosphere downtown and Brookside. I was there the other night and a party of 6 effusively complimented the owner on their way out for the amazing food, service and accommodations. Top shelf — go there, FIFA people ❤“

Take advantage of their happy hour when you can those deals are great, you won’t generally eat a meal here for under $30, but the price is well worth the taste and quality of your meal.“

“Hosted a baby sprinkle this weekend , BLOWN AWAY. Carla , was so kind , so helpful from the start to the end . She made everything SO easy. We rented out the wine cellar , and it could not have been more beautiful. The guest of honor truly felt like royalty. Gaylan was our kind waiter and poured all of our mimosas just perfectly! “Staying at the Hilton Presidents Hotel in downtown Kansas City we stopped by the Drum Room located on property and accessed via hotel lobby or its side entrance. Good and atmosphere were so good we ate there 2 times. Started with Fried Goat Cheese and Beet Salad and finished with the KC Beach Burger with garlic fries and Meatball Farfalle pasta dish. All were amazing and didn’t venture far on our second visit and skipped the salad as the 3 items were way too much on the first evening. Second evening we shared a bottle of Sav Blanc from N.Z. Amazing.“

“Local Kansas Citian....stayed this weekend with my husband and had an AMAZING time! The room was spacious and clean! Bed was super comfy, and it was actually very quiet! We could see the city life below from our corner room, but most of the noise was completely blocked out! The hotel bar and the terrace bar were both amazing! And breakfast at the hotel was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!“

Great service and people that seem to love their jobs made our experience memorable celebrating birthdays & an anniversary. Food was excellent and the 10-layer carrot cake knocked it out of the park. Needless to say, we will back! Coming in from Wisconsin and ending our trip at Ocean Prime made the weekend!“
